For thirty-three and a half years Jesus had lived on this planet. He gave up Heaven to come down to this pigsty of a world to save us, but the world preferred their glitz of a pigsty to the life of purity.
Have you ever wondered why Jesus is called “Savior”? I was raised, and spent the first 40 years of my life, in a Sabbath-keeping church. I went to the denominational schools from 1st grade all the way up to college. So, of course, I knew that Jesus saved us eternally. That He saved us from eternal death and we would live forever with Him. As long as we belonged to the right denomination and church, of course. It wasn’t until a few months back that the Spirit of God actually confronted me with the concept of “why is Jesus called ‘Savior’”?
The Spirit began to instruct me, taking me through the Bible and enlightening my eyes. The Spirit of God, while dictating and directing the book, “Change Your Life Biblically”, had already revealed that grace cannot save anyone “eternally”. Why? Well, if grace could save eternally, then all would be saved, since it is the desire of Jesus that all should be saved. God is no respecter of persons and wants all to be saved, therefore, if grace could save one person eternally, then all would have to be saved. That includes Lucifer. But grace can’t save Lucifer and therefore, grace can’t save one “sinner”. The Bible is very plain that Jesus can “save” us from disasters, sicknesses, physical death, accidents, etc., but not eternally. The Bible is also very plain that we must “work out” our own salvation by obedience to the Ten Commandments. Salvation is a choice. Only those who give up sin, living in perfect obedience to the Ten Commandments, will have eternal life. After all, Jesus is very plain that when He comes to separate the sheep from the goats, He does not separate by feelings, wishes or pick-of-the-straw. He comes to give each man the reward he has EARNED. Therefore, each of us is responsible for our own eternal life or eternal death. We earn our eternal destiny. Revelation 22:12.
And that is where I left it until a few months back. Then the Spirit of God took me deeper. He is opening up a whole new dimension I had but vaguely understood. Why did Jesus perform all those miracles when He was upon earth? Let’s face it, Abraham didn’t perform any miracles, nor were any performed for him, and yet he believed in God and brought many to the truth. Isaac didn’t see any miracles, and yet he accepted his father’s God. Jacob had no miracles given him, and yet he made God his God. I don’t even read of any “miracle” to convince Noah to build the Ark. Isaiah did not work one miracle. He did, however, give Hezekiah the choice of the shadow going forward or backward. But that was not a “miracle” from Isaiah in the true sense of the word. Jeremiah did not work one miracle. They all just believed in the “word” of God and went to work. But when Jesus came, He did many miracles. The Spirit of God enticed me to find out “why”?
Since the fall of man, those who believed in God, and the coming Messiah, were acquainted with His work “to restrain transgression, to put an end to sin, to make atonement for lawlessness, to establish everlasting righteousness, to conclude vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy Place” and were required to sacrifice a lamb to show their faith in that Messiah. (Daniel 9:24). By bringing the sin offering to the altar of sacrifice, they recognized that they had committed a sin and needed to repent from it, turn away from it and live without sin. That is why a perfect lamb was used in their sacrifices. The lamb could not have any blemishes or defects. It represented, not only the life of the Messiah, but the life they were to live, perfect and sinless in order to be accepted by God. Leviticus 1:10.
By the time of Jesus, the sacrifices and church services had degenerated into a ritualistic formalism by which the people were taught, by the church, that the church with its rituals, traditions, services, customs and sacrifice “saved” them no matter what their spiritual condition. Today we have the same problem. We go through our ritualistic formalism of going to church and church activities thinking we are saved. Therefore, Jesus had to correct their concept. But in order to correct it, He had to approach it from two different paths. The first was to teach them the truth, that the sacrifices, rituals, “church-going” services, feast days, traditions and ordinances could not save them. They had to live the perfect, sinless and Ten Commandment keeping life to get into Heaven. But that posed a problem. The people had lived so long in sin, they did not think it possible to live without sin. And as a man thinks, so is he. It is by beholding, contemplating an idea, that we can then begin to grasp the understanding of it and change our own belief system. The understanding of living a perfect, sinless and commandment keeping life was just not taught. It was alien to them and the church. How could they “stop sinning”?
That is where the “Savior” part of the mission of Jesus came in. The miracles He performed were to show the power of God to “heal” the life. But in order for that power to work in the life, in each case of “miracle”, the person had to have faith in Jesus to work the miracle. They had to “behold” Jesus. (Mark 10:52). Jesus wanted to heal every one of their sicknesses, but He could only heal those who had faith in Him. There were whole villages where He was not able to heal anyone because of their lack of faith in Him. By these illustrations He was directing the people to the fact that even though He wanted to cleanse and heal every one of their sins in order for them to have eternal life, He could only cleanse and heal them of their sins if they had faith to live in obedience to His healing power.
So, even though Jesus could not save one person into Heaven, He could offer them the power to “work out your own salvation” by using the power Jesus offered to overcome sin in their lives. If they would open their eyes to Jesus and study His life of obedience, they would develop faith in His power to heal them. If Jesus could open the eyes of the blind, He could also offer the sinner the power to cleanse his heart of sin. But the sinner had to have faith in the words of Jesus that he could cleanses himself through the power of Jesus in his life. That is what makes Jesus our “Savior”. He doesn’t save us “eternally”, He offers us cleansing from our sins, so we can have eternal life. And He does that by giving us the knowledge of how we can live perfect, sinless and commandment keeping, thereby giving us the faith to put forth the work to “stop sinning”.
You might look at it like this, Jesus can’t cleanse us, but He can offer us the “soap” whereby we can take it and cleanse ourselves. The soap of God and your work of rubbing it all over your dirty body cleanses the dirt away. By doing that, we confront the reality that sins are going to be hard to overcome, like dirt on the body. We take our sins to Jesus and in cooperation with our effort to overcome them, He will join His “soapy” power to our effort of cleansing. That is why we are to take His yoke upon us. Then we can live without sin. Then we have eternal life. That is why the angel said, “He shall be called Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21.
“There is a science of Christianity to be mastered—a science as much deeper, broader, higher than any human science as the heavens are higher than the earth. The mind is to be disciplined, educated, trained; for we are to do service for God in ways that are not in harmony with inborn inclination. Hereditary and cultivated tendencies to evil must be overcome. Often the education and training of a lifetime must be discarded, that one may become a learner in the school of Christ. Our hearts must be educated to become steadfast in God. We are to form habits of thought that will enable us to resist temptation. We must learn to look upward. The principles of the word of God—principles that are as high as heaven, and that compass eternity—we are to understand in their bearing upon our daily life. Every act, every word, every thought, is to be in accord with these principles. All must be brought into harmony with, and subject to, Christ.
“The precious graces of the Holy Spirit are not developed in a moment. Courage, fortitude, meekness, faith, unwavering trust in God’s power to save, are acquired by the experience of years. By a life of holy endeavor and firm adherence to the right the children of God are to seal their destiny. MH 453-454.
Those who claimed to be “the chosen people” thought they were “chosen” because of their lineage and connection to the “church of God”. But Peter makes it very plain that “the people chosen” are “to be obedient to Jesus”. 1 Peter 1:2. It is obedience which is the “soap” that sets His “chosen people” or “His Church” apart from the world. It is obedience that “cleanses” us from sin. If you are not “obedient to Jesus” in living as He commands, perfect, sinless and commandment keeping, you are not “His chosen people” or a part of “His Church”. Being obedient is our work. The choice is our own. God can’t do it for us. You must take the “soap” of salvation into your own hands and live as obedient children to the teachings of Jesus. “As obedient children, do not be shaped by the desires that used to influence you when you were ignorant. Instead, be holy in every aspect of your life, just as the one who called you is holy.” 1 Peter 1:14, 15.
But if you are taught you can’t stop sinning, can’t be perfect and can’t keep the Ten Commandments, then who needs Jesus as their “Savior”? The Jews, church leaders, priests and teachers of the law did not want a “Savior” who saved them from sin. If Jesus could save from sin, all their moneymaking services, sacrifices, rituals and traditions would be deemed useless. That could not happen! Therefore, they were determined to destroy the “Savior” in order to keep their own made-up “savior”: the church system.
Our churches, pastors and denominations of today are doing the very same thing. They do not want you going to Jesus for your “salvation” from sin. No, they want you going to their churches and denominations. They are telling you that Jesus will purify the church and all you have to do is sit in a church pew. They want to be your “salvation”. They are destroying the “soap” of Jesus with their “antisoap”: “Saved by Grace”, “Unconditional Love of God”, “Jesus saves us eternally”, “Just believe” and “Just have faith”. The pride, ego and wealth you offer the churches by going to them is all sin and “antichrist”. You have put your pastor, church and denomination “in place of” Jesus as your “savior” from sin. Therefore, you live in sin and refuse to obey Jesus when He commands you to be perfect, stop sinning and to keep the Ten Commandments to get your eternal life. You are refusing to believe Jesus in order to believe your pastor, church or denomination.
John 12:37 to John 14:31
Although he had performed numerous signs in their presence, they did not believe in him, so that what the prophet Isaiah spoke might be fulfilled when he said: “Lord, who has believed our message, and to whom has the Lord’s power been revealed?” This is why they could not believe: Isaiah also said, “He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, so that they might not perceive with their eyes, and understand with their mind and turn, and I would heal them.” Isaiah said this when he saw his glory and spoke about him.
If I shine a bright light into your eyes, after you have been in the dark for a few hours, the light blinds you. So, in a sense, God “has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts”. The Light of truth from God is not wanted by the dark churches. They close their eyes to it and refuse to perceive it with their hearts. Therefore, they refuse to look to God in order for God to heal them.
You must understand, these “blind eyes” were not “atheists”, “agnostics”, “skeptics”, “pagans” or “unbelievers”. They were tithe-paying, church-going, Sabbath-keepers whom God designated as “blind”. Today they would be known as Seventh-day Adventists, Church of God – Seventh-day, 7th Day Church of God and over 560 other organizations, churches and denominations that go to church on the 7th day Sabbath. This includes, Jews, Baptists, Pentecostals, Lutherans and more. But today, this day, the days we are living in, the days of the Laodicean church of Revelation, they are all “blind”. Why? Because they refuse to go to Jesus and obey Him. Like the Jews of Christ’s day, we are going to church instead of going to Jesus. God did not tell one person to go to “church”. He did not tell one person to build a “church”. He did not tell one person to start a “denomination”. What He did command was, “Come unto Me”. And yet, they refuse to go to Him in obedience to His commands to stop sinning, be perfect and to keep the Ten Commandments to get your eternal life.
It doesn’t matter what the name of your church, group or denomination is. All churches today, according to Revelation, are whores of Babylon. All organized religions are copies, to some degree, of the Church of Rome. The devil is very pleased when you sit in church. He knows you will go to sleep and feel very secure doing nothing for God. Going to church does not please God. Giving God’s money to your church is the same as giving it to a Catholic organization or system. It does not please God. God has laid down very specific criterion for who His money is to go to. It doesn’t matter what “name” your organization or church has or what day it goes to church on. What matters is what character you have. Do you have the character and message of Jesus who was perfect, sinless and obedient to the Ten Commandments?
Yet many people, even some of the authorities, believed in him, but because of the Pharisees they did not admit it so they would not be thrown out of the synagogue. For they loved the praise of human beings more than the praise of God.
I am sure there are many in churches who would come out if others had the backbone to stand up and lead the way. In the judgement, when church members stand before the throne of God waiting to be burned up, they will be held responsible for the timid who followed their example by staying in a sinking church. They loved the praise of human beings more than the praise of God. People are afraid to speak up and teach the truth of Jesus in their church that they must stop sinning, be perfect and keep the Ten Commandments to get their eternal life. They are afraid they may be thrown out of the church. How sad. The praise of man is more important than the praise of God.
Then Jesus said loudly, “The one who believes in me does not believe in me only, but also in the one who sent me. The one who sees me sees the one who sent me.
Are you speaking “loudly” in your church? The devil has so brainwashed our churches, they have truly forgotten that it is the Father’s duty to destroy all sin and sinners. It is only the atonement of Jesus that is preventing the Father from destroying this planet and all sinners at this time. But if we refuse to believe in Jesus, listening to the message He brought from the Father, and living in obedience to it, as Jesus did, we will be burned up. And it doesn’t matter what church you go to, who your pastor is or what denomination you belong to. None of that will get you into Heaven. Only character will be going to Heaven. If you have not changed your life by living as Jesus commands, you have no eternal life.
And let me make this very plain. Sitting around watching or listening or talking about conspiracy theories, about this church or that church, this leader or government official, none of that will get you into heaven. All of that “gossip” is sinful. It is taking your eyes off of Jesus and putting them on man. That is right where the devil wants your eyes. Take them off of your church, the Catholic Church, the conspiracy theories and all the rest of the entertainment that is taking up your time and go to Jesus. Spend those hours learning what pleases Jesus and obey Him.
I have come into the world as light, so that everyone who believes in me will not remain in the darkness.
To “believe” in Jesus is not to sit in church singing praises to His name or believing in some Bible doctrines. The devil knows all the Bible doctrines and he will not be in heaven.
There will be pagans in heaven who know nothing of Bible doctrine. Why will they be in heaven? Because they lived the Ten Commandments in their lives as best they knew how, even though they were never taught them. Your church is not the “Light”. Only Jesus is the “Light”. His words are the rays of His Light that are shining out. But if you are hiding those “rays” of His Light, you will be destroyed. You must take those “rays of Light” and put them into your heart so that you will not sin against God. You must get out of your dark church by taking hold of His “rays” of Light and walk in obedience to them. Then you must let those “rays” of Light shine out to those around you. You must speak them to others.
It may be “fun” going to your church. Your church may bring you “ecstasy” and lots of “warm” feelings. But none of that has anything to do with getting into heaven. Going to your church may bring you joy and lots of social comfort, but that is not what Jesus said to do. Jesus said to stop sinning, be perfect and to keep the Ten Commandments to get your eternal life. Are you doing that?
If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not condemn him, because I did not come to condemn the world but to save it. The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has something to judge him: The word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day, because I have not spoken on my own authority. Instead, the Father who sent me has himself commanded me what to say and how to speak.
I don’t understand why we refuse to believe Jesus. I don’t understand why we believe our pastors, churches and denominations while slapping Jesus in the face. He is so plain, if you “hear my words” and don’t keep them, the “word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day.” Get it? If you sit in church hearing the words of Jesus to stop sinning, be perfect and to keep the Ten Commandments to get your eternal life and do not obey them, those very words will judge you on the last day and you will be destroyed. If you are reading those words of Jesus and not putting them into practice, you are condemning yourself. Maybe that is why you do not hear them. The churches are afraid to teach them to you. You might not like them and leave the church, taking your money with you, in search of a church who will tell you what you want to hear. You might even ask to be removed from our mailing list so you don’t have to hear them again. Closing off your ears can be very comforting. But it is very deadly.
And I know that what he commands brings eternal life. What I speak, therefore, I speak just as the Father has told me.”
No wonder the pastors, churches and denomination teach from every part of the Bible except the teachings of Jesus. They love Paul. The more confusing Paul is, the better it is. They love to twist and turn Paul to make him say what they want him to say. But Paul is not your God. Paul is not your savior. Paul cannot get one person into heaven. Only those who are obedient to Jesus will be in heaven. If your pastor, church or denomination uses Paul in any way that makes it sound like he is disagreeing with Jesus, get out now. Listen to 2 Peter 3:16. “Paul talks about these same things in all his letters, but part of what he says is hard to understand. Some ignorant and unsteady people even destroy themselves by twisting what he said. They do the same thing with other Scriptures too”. All churches, pastors and denominations fall into that verse.
Now before the Passover Festival, Jesus realized that his hour had come to leave this world and return to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.
Your pastor, church or denomination may talk about “love”, but they do not love you any more than the satanic demons speaking through them love you. If they loved you they would be telling you truth, the truth as Jesus taught it: to stop sinning, be perfect and to keep the Ten Commandments to get your eternal life. Jesus loved us so much He told us the truth even though it meant He would have to die for it. He loved us “to the end”. Are you following His example?
By supper time, the devil had already put it into the heart of Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, to betray him.
If you speak truth, you will be betrayed. Only a few will be saved. Only a few are listening to and obeying the teachings of Jesus. All the rest are going to church. The church-going people will hate you, persecute you and say all manner of evil against you. I get it all the time from church-going people. Our worst enemies will be church-going people and especially those who go to church on “Sabbath”. Only those who love Jesus love this ministry and the truth of Jesus we share.
Because Jesus knew that the Father had given everything into his control, that he had come from God, and that he was returning to God, therefore he got up from the table, removed his outer robe, and took a towel and fastened it around his waist. Then he poured some water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet and to dry them with the towel that was tied around his waist.
True Christianity isn’t sitting in church. True Christianity is serving others. Getting out of your church and taking the water of life to those who have “dirty feet”. You are to humble yourself and wash sinners with the water of Life so they can be clean in Jesus. You may have to take off your expensive clothing and put on dirty work clothes. You may have to take off your expensive shoes and put on boots to work in. You may have to go to “that” neighborhood and get a few dents in your car, but that is what Jesus did. How many “sinners” have you washed with the Water of Life today?
Then he came to Simon Peter, who asked him, “Lord, are you going to wash my feet?”
Peter was not into “humility”. He had a big mouth that went right along with his big ego. If Jesus was to be crowned king, how dare He act the part of a servant. Peter did not want Jesus humiliating the “church” with his actions.
Jesus answered him, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later on you will understand.” Peter told him, “You must never wash my feet!”
I do not know of any churches that have a true, pure foot washing service. It is all a show. We really don’t want to humble ourselves and confess our sins to each other. To bow before those who hurt us and forgive them is way too humbling. Even worse is to admit we have hurt others and humbly repent to them. But Jesus bowed before Peter and forgave him in advance for the denial he was soon to partake in.
Jesus answered him, “Unless I wash you, you cannot be involved with me.”
“Unless I wash you”. No church, no pastor, no denomination can get you into heaven. Unless you humble yourself and let Jesus wash you with His “Living Water”, “you cannot be involved” with Him. You must let go of all that pride and arrogance that thinks that God loves you and will save you for going to church and continuing in your sins. You must recognize that you will be lost unless you live in strict obedience to Jesus and His Living Words: stop sinning, be perfect and keep the Ten Commandments to get your eternal life.
Simon Peter told him, “Lord, not just my feet, but my hands and my head as well!” Jesus told him, “Whoever has bathed is entirely clean. He doesn’t need to wash himself further, except for his feet. And you men are clean, though not all of you.”
Once you leave your church and go to Jesus, that is the same as being “bathed”. When you give up listening to man-made wisdom and church nonsense and give your heart totally to Jesus, then you are clean in Jesus. However, as you walk with Jesus, you may fall, you may skin your knees, you may stumble and inadvertently deny Jesus. But your heart is in the right direction. You are with Jesus and He will bend down, take your dirty feet, your skinned knees and filthy mouth and clean them. But you must be willing to let Him clean them by accepting the reproofs He gives and strive to overcome as you continue to follow Jesus.
For he knew who was going to betray him. That’s why he said, “Not all of you are clean.”
There are many who are “walking” with Jesus who are not clean. They are simply along for the show, the ride, the excitement and the possible “rewards” they think being with Jesus will give them. That is why most are going to church. Be very careful who you walk with. If the members of your church are not striving to put away all sin out of their lives, have nothing to do with them. Go and open your home to those who want to change their lives. Ask for a case of books and use them in your Bible studies and missionary work.
When Jesus had washed their feet and put on his outer robe, he sat down again and told them, “Do you realize what I have done to you? You call me Teacher and Lord, and you are right because that is what I am. So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you must also wash one another’s feet.
Not many “realize what I have done to you”. People do not want to follow the example of Jesus. They want to follow their pastor, their church and denomination. After all, they live well, fly around on jets, have fine clothes and drive nice cars. To be like Jesus? Not in your life. I’ll just follow the teachings of my church and pastor to “believe” in Jesus and “poof” I’m saved in my own life as I see fit to live it.
I have set an example for you, so that you may do as I have done to you.
Go ahead, look around your church and ask yourself a very simple question: “Who is following the example of Jesus”? None! If they were, they would not be in church. Those “going to church” are all lost. That is why we have been given the commission to call them out. If you don’t call them out, you are responsible for their eternal death. Can you live now, and die eternally later, with that on your conscience?
Truly, I say to you with certainty, a servant is not greater than his master, and a messenger is not greater than the one who sent him. If you understand these things, how blessed you are if you put them into practice!
The disciples, like church-going people today, were totally brainwashed by their church. They thought they were “saved” because they were born Jews or went through certain rituals and ceremonies. They just could not wrap their minds around the concept of actually putting “them into practice”. After all, they looked up to the church leaders, and not one of them was living the perfect, sinless and commandment keeping life. So, why should they? They only knew what they had been taught by the church. Therefore, over and over and over again Jesus had to keep hitting the nail on the head. Over and over and over again He had to keep telling them the truth hoping it would sink in. Has it sunk in with you?
I’m not talking about all of you. I know the ones I have chosen. But the Scripture must be fulfilled: ‘The one who ate bread with me has turned against me.’ I’m telling you this now, before it happens, so that when it does happen, you may believe that I AM. Truly, I tell all of you with certainty, the one who receives whomever I send receives me, and the one who receives me receives the one who sent me.”
About a year earlier Jesus had stated that church people, those who claimed to be “His people”, would wonder why God had rejected them. They would remind God that they had eaten with Him in His “Last Supper” in church, listened to His words in church and went on many church activities. Why was God rejecting them? Because they went to church and not to Jesus. They listened to their church but refused to listen to and obey Jesus. Jesus sent His Holy Spirit to begin this ministry and then sent it into the world. “The one who receives whomever I send receives Me.” However, this ministry is not fancy. This ministry does not play to the egos of wicked people. This ministry does not entertain or have famous “stars” to draw a crowd. No, this ministry just has Jesus and His truth. Those who listen and obey will be saved. Those who receive this ministry receives The One who has sent it.
After saying this, Jesus was deeply troubled in spirit and declared solemnly, “Truly, I tell all of you with certainty, one of you is going to betray me!”
Are you going to betray Jesus? Will you continue to look to your church, your pastor and denomination as Judas did? Since Jesus was not giving him what he wanted, he went to his church and got what he wanted. How about you?
The disciples began looking at one another, completely mystified about whom he was speaking.
The Spirit of God is speaking, yet how many will read this, look around and wonder who it is talking about. It is amazing how church members can be so “completely mystified about whom He was speaking about”. Is He speaking to you?
One of his disciples, the one whom Jesus kept loving, had been sitting very close to him. So Simon Peter motioned to this man to ask Jesus about whom he was speaking. Leaning forward on Jesus’ chest, he asked him, “Lord, who is it?” Jesus answered, “He is the one to whom I will give this piece of bread after I have dipped it in the dish.” Then he took a piece of bread, dipped it, and gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot. After he had taken the piece of bread, Satan entered him. Then Jesus told him, “Do quickly what you are going to do!”
If your whole heart and soul is not with Jesus, but is divided among the world, church and a bit of reading the Bible, you are betraying Jesus. He must have all of your heart. Every emotion, every thought, every action, every word and feeling must be under the command of Jesus. You must live by “every word” that comes from the mouth of God, not your church. Otherwise you will not understand anything Jesus is saying to you.
Now no one at the table knew why Jesus said this to him. Some thought that, since Judas had the moneybag, Jesus was telling him to buy what they needed for the festival or to give something to the destitute. So Judas took the piece of bread, immediately went outside, and it was night.
People look around at those in their churches and see no difference between any of them. They read Scripture, but they look at the church and see no one obeying it. It is all a “joke”. Even those who hold the “moneybag” for the church are not listening to Jesus. They sit in church taking the “bread” from their church, but when they leave the church, it is night in their souls. They have not listened to or partaken of the “body of Christ”. It is all church and religion.
After Judas had gone out, Jesus said, “The Son of Man is now glorified, and God has been glorified by him. If God has been glorified by him, God himself also will glorify the Son of Man, and he will do so quickly.
Being “glorified” by God is not going to church. It is not putting on an exciting show or entertainment. It is sacrificing everything in your life in order to live in obedience to the “Word” of God. To live as Jesus lived, a self-sacrificing life for the good of others. If you go to church, you are living for your selfishness. Death is your reward.
Little children, I am with you only a little longer. You will look for me, but what I told the Jews I now tell you, ‘Where I am going, you cannot come.’
The mission of Jesus at that time was not the mission of the disciples. Yes, in the future they would follow Jesus in giving up their lives, but tonight, they were not to go where Jesus was going. He needed them for another day. Each of us has our duties and responsibilities. Instead of going to church, we need to be laying our lives at the feet of Jesus daily and asking Him to reveal our duty for that day. Every day, when I wake up and begin my hour of prayer, I ask the Lord to be my scheduler and provider. To lead me and guide me where and when He needs me. I lay before the Lord all our inmates, donors and online community. Those who share with me their trials and lives I share with the Lord for Him to work with and help them. Then I go about my daily duties and activities allowing Jesus to make any changes He deems necessary for His work. I serve Him, not me. I am a pawn on God’s chessboard. I have surrendered my life to be moved or removed as He sees fit. He sees the total game plan. I can hardly see the space in front of me. I have been trusting Him with my life since 1991.
I am giving you a new commandment to love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. This is how everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
How do we love one another? By taking them to church? No! By giving them what they want? No! By entertaining them? No! We love one another by serving them, telling them the truth, doing our duty and serving as Jesus did.
Simon Peter asked him, “Lord, where are you going?” Jesus answered him, “I am going where you cannot follow me now, though you will follow me later on.” “Lord, why can’t I follow you now?” Peter asked him. “I would lay down my life for you!” Jesus answered him, “Would you lay down your life for me? Truly, I tell you with certainty, a rooster will not crow until you have denied me three times.”
Peter loved Jesus, but he did not know himself. Many claim to love Jesus, but, like Peter, have not spent enough time living in obedience to Jesus and His every word in order to develop insight into themselves necessary to “know” themselves. God wants to reveal your inmost self to you. He sees you as you are. We see ourselves as we want to see ourselves, not as we truly are. We must, every day, ask the Spirit of God to reveal our defects so we can overcome them before it is too late. Paul told His “son” Timothy to “know thyself”. It is very important to “know thyself”. That self-knowledge can only come through obedience to Jesus.
Peter had a second chance. You may not. When probation closes, all lives will be sealed. Those who have developed perfect characters will reap eternal life. Those who neglected to develop perfect characters will be destroyed.
Jesus said to his disciples, “Don’t be worried! Have faith in God and have faith in me.
You are not to have “faith” in your pastor, church or denomination. They are not of God. They will let you down. They are under the control of the ruler of this world. But you do not have to be worried if you will firmly plant your faith in Jesus Christ. Since serving Him in this ministry, never has He let me down. My faith grows stronger and stronger every day.
There are many rooms in my Father’s house. I wouldn’t tell you this, unless it was true. I am going there to prepare a place for each of you. After I have done this, I will come back and take you with me. Then we will be together.
Our churches, pastors and denominations only tell us what we want to hear. They don’t put it all together so you know the truth. In order to go “home” with Jesus to the “rooms” He is preparing, you must have faith in Him. You must live as He lived. You must have so much faith in Him that you will live in perfect obedience to every word He has spoken. Otherwise, He is not coming back for you. He is not building “rooms” for you in Heaven.
You know the way to where I am going.” Thomas said, “Lord, we don’t even know where you are going! How can we know the way?”
Each of us knows the “way to where I am going”. God has made it very plain. The problem is not knowing the way, but being willing to walk on that way. The way is very narrow. It requires a sinless, perfect and commandment keeping life.
“I am the way, the truth, and the life!” Jesus answered. “Without me, no one can go to the Father.
How many times have we heard that phrase from our pastors, churches and denominations? And yet, do you truly believe Jesus is the only “way, the truth, and the life”? If you did, you would be living as He commands, perfect, sinless and commandment keeping as He lived. So, no, you do not believe in Jesus. If you do not have Jesus and His perfect, sinless and commandment keeping life living in you, you cannot “go to the Father”. Jesus didn’t say “Without church”, no, He said, “Without Me.” Are you beginning to see how brainwashed you have become by your church?
If you had known me, you would have known the Father. But from now on, you do know him, and you have seen him.” Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father. That is all we need.”
Since you are reading this, you now know the Father and Jesus. You now know the truth of what Jesus and the Father require for you to go to Heaven. You now know the way to that life by following the Ten Commandments as Jesus did for His eternal life. You don’t need church, you don’t need to be “shown” the Father or to be “shown” signs and wonders. You have it all in the words of Jesus: be perfect, stop sinning and keep the Ten Commandments to get your eternal life.
Jesus replied: Philip, I have been with you for a long time. Don’t you know who I am? If you have seen me, you have seen the Father. How can you ask me to show you the Father?
Not once in all of this discourse will you hear Jesus telling the disciples to start a church, build a church or go to church. “If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father”. That is all you need: Jesus. Look to Jesus. Put your whole life into the hands of Jesus. Get out of your church and stop dividing your affections. Give them all to Jesus and watch the glory of God in your life.
Don’t you believe that I am one with the Father and that the Father is one with me? What I say isn’t said on my own. The Father who lives in me does these things.
It was the Father living in Jesus. How was the Father living in Jesus? Jesus took the words of His Father and put them into His heart and obeyed them. It wasn’t church living in Jesus. It wasn’t His pastor or denomination living in Him. You can only have Jesus living inside of you if you kick church out and put Jesus in its place.
Have faith in me when I say that the Father is one with me and that I am one with the Father. Or else have faith in me simply because of the things I do. I tell you for certain that if you have faith in me, you will do the same things that I am doing. You will do even greater things, now that I am going back to the Father.
You are to have faith in Jesus, not your church, pastor or denomination. People say I have “hate” for churches. Well, my Bible tells me to hate wickedness. If your pastor, church or denomination are not teaching the teachings of Jesus to stop sinning, be perfect and to keep the Ten Commandments to get your eternal life, they are wicked. (2 John 1:8-11). Do you love wickedness? I don’t. I hate anything that comes between me and Jesus. Are you making friendships with the worldly churches, or are you hating sin and getting out of them? If you get out of them and go to Jesus, living in obedience to every word Jesus has spoken, you may:
Ask me, and I will do whatever you ask. This way the Son will bring honor to the Father. I will do whatever you ask me to do.
Fools run around claiming that Jesus will do whatever is asked of Him. They take this text out of context and try to convince people to “just ask” and when their prayers are not answered, they come up with all kinds of excuses: “You did not have enough faith. You did not try hard enough. God answered it with ‘NO’”. And so it goes, everyone trying to find an “excuse” why God does not fulfill His own promise. But the fault is not with God or His promise. He does whatever I ask of Him. Why? Because I fulfill the conditions, therefore, He can fulfill His promise.
Jesus said to his disciples: If you love me, you will do as I command.
And there it is. So easy. Just show your love to Jesus by doing as He commanded you. He didn’t command you to go to church. He commanded you to live the sinless, perfect and commandment keeping life and all your prayers will be answered. I told my sister to read the book, “Change Your Life Biblically” and obey it and she would be healed. She refused and is dying. She became sick after she rejected the book. Her pride and ego will destroy her. Her church is her god. Will you let your pride and ego destroy you? Read the book, be obedient and: Then I will ask the Father to send you the Holy Spirit who will help you and always be with you.
That has been true in my life. I am a witness to the promises of God. I testify to His truth. Will you listen? God sent His Spirit to dictate and direct the book, “Change Your Life Biblically”. In that book He is showing what is truth.
The Spirit will show you what is true. The people of this world cannot accept the Spirit, because they don’t see or know him. But you know the Spirit, who is with you and will keep on living in you.
Jesus wants a “One-on-one” experience with you. He talks to me, works with me, guides me and is my best Friend. He wants to be yours. But you must let go of church and the world and give your heart totally to Him. Going to Jesus must be your greatest desire.
I won’t leave you like orphans. I will come back to you.
Since He sent me to prison in 1991, He has never left me as an orphan. He has always been with me. I crave His presence. I spend hours talking to Him each day. I take Him with me all day long. I lay all my plans, all day long, at His feet to approve and change as He sees fit. I don’t care what the church or the denomination or the pastor or the world says or thinks. I follow Jesus.
I have a pit bull named Duke. He loves going into town with me. He knows the time and the activities that I do just before going into town. It doesn’t matter who is here, what they offer him or what temptation may present itself to him, he will not be any farther away from me than about 12 inches in order to make sure he gets into the car with me. He knows who has the keys to the car and who does the driving.
And yet, even though Jesus is the only One who has the keys to the car that is going to Heaven, why is it we follow the church, pastor or denomination when they cannot drive us into heaven?
In a little while the people of this world won’t be able to see me, but you will see me. And because I live, you will live.
The world and the churches are not able to see Jesus. They are so full of themselves they are unable to see Jesus. They are so busy listening to themselves they cannot hear the voice of Jesus. But if you will look to Jesus, listening to Him and living in obedience to Him, because He lives, you also will live.
Then you will know that I am one with the Father. You will know that you are one with me, and I am one with you.
Can two walk together unless they be agreed? That is why Jesus and the Father are “one”. They are agreed on every point. Jesus lived in perfect submission to His Father’s will. They were “one” in every aspect of their lives. In order for us to get to Heaven, we also must live as “one” with Jesus. Living with your church, denomination or pastor will not get you into heaven. There is no unity in your church. That is why Jesus is not in your church or denomination.
If you love me, you will do what I have said, and my Father will love you. I will also love you and show you what I am like.
Not once in all of this does Jesus talk about church, going to church or listening to your church or pastor. If you love Jesus, “you will do what I have said”. Why don’t you obey Jesus? He wants to show you “what I am like”. But if you are in church, listening to your pastor or reading the denominational “Review”, or watching 3ABN, you will never be shown what Jesus is like.
The other Judas, not Judas Iscariot, then spoke up and asked, “Lord, what do you mean by saying that you will show us what you are like, but you will not show the people of this world?”
Jesus is revealing Himself to me more and more each day. I treasure His presence and what He is showing me. You can also have that experience. But to do that, you must live as Jesus commands. You must obey Him and not your church.
Jesus replied: If anyone loves me, they will obey me. Then my Father will love them, and we will come to them and live in them.
Are you obeying Jesus by living as He commands: perfect, sinless and commandment keeping? Going to church will not get you any closer to heaven than going to a rock concert or a bar. Sorry, actually, going to the rock concert and bar will get you closer to heaven, if you are sharing Jesus with them. People run around claiming to “love” Jesus. Have you heard them in your church? But are they obeying Jesus by living as He commands: perfect, sinless and commandment keeping? No, they are not. It is all a show. They stand up in front of the church and make a show of “loving” Jesus. But their lives are not in obedience to Him. “If anyone loves me, they will obey me”. But anyone who doesn’t love me, won’t obey me. What they have heard me say doesn’t really come from me, but from the Father who sent me.
If you are not obeying Jesus, you don’t love Him. God doesn’t care how much church-going you do or what day you go to church on or how much money you put into the church, you are not loving Jesus unless you are living according to His words. Everything else is just Catholic.
I have told you these things while I am still with you. But the Holy Spirit will come and help you, because the Father will send the Spirit to take my place. The Spirit will teach you everything and will remind you of what I said while I was with you.
We go to church, listen to our pastors and denominational material, but who is listening to the Spirit of God? He wants to speak to you, personally, as He has done and is doing with me. You don’t need a church or pastor or denomination to teach you your duty. That would be “Catholicism”. That is why all churches are the “prostitutes” of Babylon. They take the place of the Spirit of God. The “prostitutes” are not reminding you of what Jesus said. Jesus said to be perfect, stop sinning and to keep the Ten Commandments to get your eternal life. If you were listening to the Spirit of God instead of to your pastor, church or denomination, you would be hearing what Jesus taught and living in obedience to Him. Anyone who points you to “church” is a Catholic agent, standing in the place of Jesus. It doesn’t matter what church he belongs to, what church he points you to, what name he goes by or how “nice” he is. He belongs to the devil and is taking you to hell. Go to Jesus and learn from Him.
I give you peace, the kind of peace that only I can give. It isn’t like the peace that this world can give. So don’t be worried or afraid.
Are you afraid to go to Jesus? He loves you. Yes, He will point out your sins, but He will give you the power to live the sinless and perfect life. If you are going to church because it is easier, be assured, you have no eternal life.
You have already heard me say that I am going and that I will also come back to you. If you really love me, you should be glad that I am going back to the Father, because he is greater than I am. I am telling you this before I leave, so that when it does happen, you will have faith in me. I cannot speak with you much longer, because the ruler of this world is coming. But he has no power over me. I obey my Father, so that everyone in the world might know that I love him. It is time for us to go now.
Who do you love? Jesus showed His love for His Father by living in obedience to Him. Who are you obeying? Where do you go on Sabbath? To church or to Jesus? To listen to a man spout hot air that has nothing to do with changing your life, or to Jesus, listening to Him tell you what you must do for your eternal life? So few will be saved. Please, lay down your pride, ego and arrogance and listen to what the Spirit is saying to you right now. Accept the teachings of Jesus and come out of her, your church, and live for Jesus. He is the only one with the keys to Heaven.
