The war had been waging on and on for centuries. Both sides had lost millions in the battles. The nation of the Right-doers was always under attack by the Wrong-doers. Right-doers were instructed to be on guard against the attacks, infiltration and propaganda the Wrong-doers were throwing at them.

The Great General was out on the battlefield directing the engagements that each soldier was involved in. He had left apostles, prophets, teachers, workers of miracles, those having gifts of healing, those able to help others, those with gifts of administration, and those speaking in different kinds of languages, back in the city to help prepare the inhabitants for the war that was waging against them. The inhabitants were to send to the front, soldiers trained in the art of warfare.

"Therefore put on the full armor of the General, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of Instruction of the Great General. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints." Ephesians 6:10-18.

Over time, the General became alarmed. Many of the soldiers who were sent into battle were not prepared. He called a few of the new soldiers over and asked them questions about what they had learned. The General soon discovered that the teachers He had left behind were wandering from the Book of Instructions that He had given.

The General looked around and found battle tested soldiers. Many were very young, and had fought valiantly for the Right. They had no official rank or esteem, but they knew the Book of Instructions and how to use it. He called a few of them and sent them back to the city with instructions to reform the teaching and to bring the School of Instruction back to the original Book of Instructions.

The young soldiers went back to the city and began explaining to the citizens what was wrong and what needed to be improved. Theythe war1 explained that the General was in need of warriors who were able to be obedient and who knew the Book of Instructions. Those who could follow the Book of Instructions perfectly, without deviation.

At first, the citizens were receptive. They began implementing the suggestions. They began seeing the difference the truth made. But soon, the School of Instruction began to quarrel with the young warriors. Who were these young upstarts? What titles did they have? Where were their degrees? The School also realized that if they accepted the reproof from these young warriors, the citizens would lose faith in the School and what they had been teaching. No it was best to continue with the wisdom of the School and to do away with the young soldiers.

The young soldiers were beaten and killed. The message that the General had given them for the School of Instruction was finally rejected. The School continued in its own human instructions and traditions.

The School of Instruction still revered the Book of Instructions. It was placed in every revered position. Every day, the students and staff gathered to read from it. Most students and staff had their own Book of Instructions. In fact, they were so taken with the Book that many had their books lavishly engraved with their names. Gold and silver were used for trim. Some Books were bound with the finest bindings. To speak against the Book was considered heresy.

In the meantime, the General was becoming more and more alarmed with the recruits who were being sent to Him. The new recruits came with many wonderful songs. They could sit around a camp fire and sing wonderful praises to the General, and get very emotional when talking about Him, yet not one could hold his ground against the enemy. The soldiers came looking good. They wore great uniforms, but did not know how to fight.

Soon the General saw some advanced equipment comingthe war2 out of the School of His Instruction. These were slick, color brochures. Instruction manuals with teachers' opinions were read and re-read by the soldiers. But these were just man's opinions and wisdom. All this equipment and slick advertising was taking immense amounts of time and money: great entertainment. Yet the outcome was not what should have been. The soldiers were still not able to defeat the enemy.

The General sent more young men who had been battle tested and tried. These were heroes and famous for their battle techniques and had won over many of the enemy. But when they arrived at the School of Instruction, they too received the same treatment as the other messengers had.

As these young men looked around, they saw the students at the School learning, not the methods of engagement, but the methods of polishing their swords, shields and equipment. It was very important, the School said, that you knew what brand of polish needed to make your equipment shine for the General. This shine was more important than battle techniques.

Soon the General noticed that new recruits were bringing lots of water with them. Wherever they went, they had a ritual of washing their hands and eating only certain food that had been ceremonially cleansed. They even baptized each other in water claiming it would make better soldiers out of them. So much time was taken up with this ceremonial cleansing, eating of certain foods, washing of hands, cleaning, polishing of armor, and other rituals, that the battle was about to be lost.

In desperation the General looked around to see who He might send whom they would listen to. Whom could He send who would carry the weight of His own presence and authority.

There at His side was His own Son, Immanuel.

Should He send Him? Would they listen to His own Son? His Son knew the Book of Instructions. His Son had written it out for the teachers of the Law. Yes, He would send His Son. They would listen to Him.

Immanuel was very pleased that His Father had chosen Him to go and bring the teachers and the citizens back to the basic, simple truths of the Book of Instruction. He knew that they would listen to Him. The reports He received from the new recruits was the same, the people loved the General and were desirous to serve Him. The Son was anxious to go and redirect their desire so they could prove their true love and devotion by their works.

He arrived in the country and began instructing the people in the art of warfare. He began directing their attention back to the Book of Instructions which His Father, the great general had established. He was very eloquent. The citizens of the country at first were excited to hear Him. It was rumored that He was the Great General's Son. That He was sent to bring them victory over their enemies. There was a true awakening and vast crowds followed Him. Many tried to touch Him. So many people came to Him that the School of Instruction was almost emptied of its students.

The teachers and the elders of the people were infuriated. This "Son" of the Great General did not even come by to acknowledge their wonderful institution of higher learning. They were troubled that He did not show them the dignity and respect they felt they deserved from the General. And if He were the Great General's Son, why didn't he come at the head of a great army?

Soon they began to spread lies and false rumors about the Son and His followers. They claimed that these were "independents" and were cursed by God. They called a committee to decide how best to rid the land of Him. It was decided to take to court all who went by the name of the institution, the institution that the Great General had instituted. It was decided that it was best for the Son to die, than for their fame, reputation and the great institution of learning to be humiliated by this One Person. They plotted to kill Him, and carried out their plan. He was dead, and the institution had peace and harmony once more.

With the death of His Son, the Great General was overwhelmed with sorrow. To think that they, His own people, would do such a thing to His Son. He had built their nation, developed their institution of Higher Education. He was their protector from the enemy. But they became proud and took possession of those things that belong to the Great General.

The Great General sent for and retrieved His dead Son, raising Him from the power of death.

Then He withdrew His protection from the city He loved. They had rejected Him, therefore, He honored their request and left them to themselves.the war 3

Without the protection of the Great General, the city soon fell to the enemy and was destroyed. Every citizen was destroyed. The Institution of Higher Education was brought down to the ground.

That is what happened. Jerusalem fell to the Romans in 70 a.d. The city was eventually leveled and the ground it was built on became a field. All this because they refused to listen to God. They had "religion" but they didn't have Christianity.

You can claim to be a Christian all you want. But unless you are doing it God's way, well, history will repeat itself. I plead with you to give up everything that is manmade, man's wisdom and man's religion. Turn your life over to Jesus and His way. Don't be fooled by the churches and the denomination with all their pomp, ceremonies and entertainment. They can't save you. They are only entertaining you to death.

I would like to remind each of you of a fact of history that very few people are willing to acknowledge. It was tithe paying, Sabbath keeping church members who were looking for the Advent of the Messiah who put Jesus on the cross. It doesn’t matter what church you belong to, the same is happening today.

Some, after completing this workbook, tell me that they were confused, and the material they were learning did not agree with what they were brought up with. I have to ask you a serious question. Why are you in prison? If you are not in prison, why is your life in such chaos? Is it not because of the way you were brought up? Is it not because you were never taught truth? This is truth. It is the teachings’ of Jesus. The only reason you are confused, is because truth and lies do not agree with each other.

One of my favorite authors has made a statement that is applicable to all of the writings that have been authored by the Holy Spirit, including this book.

"It is not safe for you to stand as critics of my work, or to indulge disappointment because it does not meet your ideas. The question of greatest importance to you is, How do you treat my message? Upon your reception or rejection of it your eternal destiny depends." COL 43.

It is time to do away with what you were brought up with, and accept the new life that Jesus offers. Accept the new birth, the present truth, He is willing to give you. Staying with the same way you were brought up, or the church teachings you had, will only bring you back to prison. Is it not time for a change? Give Jesus and His truths a chance in your life to prove Him and see if your life will not be filled with joy, hope, peace and happiness.

Those who have accepted the truths of this book have been healed in many ways and have been set free from sin. Those who have rejected the teachings of this book have been cursed. "Therefore, I declare to you today that I am innocent of the blood of all men. For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will of God." Acts 20:26, 27.  "I want you to know, brothers, that the gospel I preached is not something that man made up. I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ." Galatians 1:11, 12.
