Letters From Inmates

My Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

My in-box is overflowing with mail.  The responses from the new book are amazing.  God is truly working above and beyond my wildest dreams for this ministry.  21 years ago, I never thought this ministry would last more than a few months.  My heart is humbled as I review the past and see the workings of God in this ministry.

I knew you would want to read “Letters From Inmates”.  Therefore I set this newsletter aside to share with you.  I pray that your hearts will be lifted as much as mine is when I read letter from inmates.  36,404 total inmates since 1997. This year: 4,500 new inmates, 812 English book, 37 Spanish books.

Hi,
I will write again soon.  Sending $5.00 tithe and $1.00 offering.  Total, $6.00.  May God bless you!  Thank you so much for my new book / bookmarkers.  It’s wonderful!  Sharing it with friends.
Kiki, AZ

To Whom It May Concern,
Hello.  My name is Brian.  I was getting hot water for my coffee and noticed a somewhat book laying on a shelf.  I went and got it, came back to my bunk and begin piecing it together.  (Someone tried to rip it apart.  Didn’t succeed!)  So, I began reading bits and pieces of it.  And was really intrigued by it.  I came across the address to receive the “Change Your Life Biblically”.  I would really enjoy receiving that.  Since this one I got is very discombobulated.  Would love to have a “whole” book.  Thank you and God bless you.
Brian, Oh

Dear Ron,
Well, thank you for reaching out to me.  I know it was all part of the Almighty Lord’s plan and blessings for us to come into contact.  My name is James and this is my first time hearing of your ministry.  But I truly do appreciate the fact that you are an angel sent from the heavens above to bring the Lord’s Word to others that have been through the same thing as you.  I’m going through it now and need guidance on living for the Lord Himself.  I’ve tried the church inside the walls and it is like you said, no true grace and peace came from it.  So I would love to try your walk in the Lord.  Please send me the next step to fulfill my purpose in life in here for the Almighty Lord.  I’ll be waiting to hear back from you and your ministry for what you are doing for many inmates.
James, CA

Dear Ron,
I just received a copy of your introductory issue and was most intrigued by your testimony and your very close relationship with our Lord Jesus.  I want that - the hand-in-hand walk you have.  The confident faith, the all time presence of His Holy Spirit or awareness of Him.  That most assured rest!  I’m starving for the “8 Steps” study.  Most of all for the “Change Your Life Biblically” challenge.  I thank our Lord and God Jesus Christ for you and your ministry.  I am serving nine years for arson.  Please pray for me and my family and our belief and faith in Christ and for His ministry of truth here at this prison.
James, CA

Dear Ron,
You must hear this a lot, but this book changed my life.  It is the very thing I needed to finally build a special strength within me.  I’ve gone to church all my life (Protestant and Catholic) and I always knew something was missing.  The knowledge you’ve shared with me finally helped me see truth for once.  I’ve been a hypocrite most of my life and now I’m paying the consequences.  However, I will take this time to be close with Jesus.  This is my first and last time in prison.  A quote from the Bible you mentioned in the book really helped me understand my situation and helped me stop feeling sorry for myself.  It is Ezekiel 18:24.  I was a good man who chose the wicked man’s path.  Now I plan to return to Christ and live the obedient and faithful life for Him.  Thank you for your work.  You are truly a warrior of God.
Timothy, WA

Hello Ron,
I just read the “History of the Ministry”.  It was really good.  I loved it.  God worked so good in your life.  I want to continue learning more about the Bible and do your Bible studies.
DeQueese, OK

To Whom It May Concern,
Please enroll me in your study program.  I am very interested in learning more about the Bible.  Enclosed is the name of a friend.
Aaron, TX

Dear Dad,
Hi!  I have a friend that works in the kitchen with me.  He stopped me as I was walking by and told me he has a question, “How do I sign up to go to church?”  I told him that I do not have anything to do with church as they are not of God and do not teach the teachings of Jesus.  I told him I have something better.  That if he gives me his information I can have Bible studies mailed to him.  He accepted the offer and gave me his info.
Juan, CA

JCPM,
A lot of the teachings in “2nd Peter” I knew them.  However, this study helped me to realize that I’m not obeying those teachings fully and applying them to my life as Jesus did because of my lack of faith, which affects my walk with and in Christ.  However, this study has also given me hope in not giving up.  To keep running the race by living in obedience, being perfect, the best I can truly be and keep His Ten Commandments and teachings.  So please, send me your book, “Change Your Life Biblically” so I can continue my Christian education.
Guillermo, TX

JCPM,
I would love to continue in the Bible study.  I am willing to hear and embrace the Word of the Lord in my life.
Corey, MD

Dear Ron,
I would love to continue my learning.  I struggle with my spirituality.  While in the county jail I gave my life to Christ and was saved (I thought).  I have many questions, but just can’t seem to find answers.  Everyone’s answers only seem to be opinions.  Currently I’m in prison serving 2 life sentences without parole.  I’ve been down since 2011.  Even though I stay out of trouble, work a full time job and try to keep buoyed, it is rough.  I got your “Prison Ministry” booklet today.  I wasn’t able to put it down until I read the entire thing.  I also had a voice in my head that wouldn’t allow me to wait till Monday to write and send this.
Louis, OH

Hi,
I received your newsletter and am very interested in your book.  I would like to share a little about myself with you.  I am 31 years old and am a mother of 3 children.  I came to prison in 2016.  Since my arrest, I have completely given my life over to God.  I have a strong desire to become involved in ministry services and would like to preach the Word of God to others once I am released.  I actively participate in Bible studies and prayer groups here in prison.  I know God has a plan for me and my life and I know He wants to use me to help others.  I believe that knowledge is the key to success and I spend a lot of my time studying God’s Word.  I was very inspired by your story and amazed at how wonderful God’s blessings in your life have been.  I praise God every day for bringing me here to a place I would have never thought could be so life transforming.  He has delivered me from my wicked evil lifestyle and freed me from the bondage of my sins.
Jessica, AZ

Brother Ron,
Good day brother Ron.  The letter you sent was great.  Duke’s awareness and patience is far exceeding.  Thank you for sending the CYLB study book to my mom.  I am more than positive that she will enjoy the study.  We spoke briefly about the CYLB study and how it is about Jesus and Jesus only.  My mom is a real stickler about that subject.  Since I was real young she taught us that she will only go to a “church” if they teach about Jesus and Jesus only.  *Because of those guidelines, my mother never attended “church” service.  She seemed really interested about the book.  My mom has been like my grandad was: Listen, Obey, Follow - only the teachings in the Bible.  I am positive my mom will take a lot from the study and apply it to help teach my brother.  Yes, the new book is a huge blessing in the work.  The layout of how each section is larger and easier to read in the way that they are titled is a big help.  The color is wonderful too.  It is more appealing to draw attention when using the book in an open setting.  Others become curious and want to come see what the book is about.  Do to the larger format, it makes an appeal also.  Others are interested in seeing what is going on, and with a guide as big as the 2nd edition, it makes others ask what I am reading and “what is it about?”
*Brother Michael and I attempted to assist an ordained “pastor” or “preacher” because he has taught in his congregations a rather odd way of believing Scripture.  Individually we made an impact on this gentleman.  But he requested a sit down with both myself and Michael.  We discussed the teachings of Jesus and used CYLB as our reference guide.  To say the least, it made such an impact that he continues to seek new information.  Although he does not agree, *CYLB got him to think deeper on Jesus and His Commands.
Also, some interesting news that just came to light with our unit.  I have been housed, along with Michael, in a pod that has a variety of different faiths: Catholics, Scientology, Aliens, Buddhism.  I personally post 8-12 JCPM fliers a month and Michael likewise.  So 16-24 fliers monthly.  Out of all of the other faiths, the books, magazines, fliers and articles, all stay posted or on display.  But when we put up fliers for JCPM, they are all removed within hours of being posted.  Michael and I found humor in this fiasco.  It goes to show us that where we are, the power of God is touching someone where it counts the most.  Even if they refuse the truth and deny the Lord, it does not stop how the Lord called us to spread the Word.  So now, instead of posting fliers, we will go back to teaching and speaking with each person individually.
*CYLB is a very powerful study and the truth of Jesus convicts the hearts of all whether they wish to accept it or not.  The work has been exciting and great to take part in because it keeps us awake and vigilant to the muse of the enemy.  I will make sure to keep on working so that whatever bonds that have this pod restrained can be broken and cast into the fire.
*Brother Ron, this mission is a long journey and a hard fought battle.  But it is a means to victory in Jesus.  I feel that our work is making headway in this facility and I ask that you pray with me to overcome the confusion and disunity that the enemy has put over this place.
*JCPM/CYLB is tearing down the strongholds of enemy in the name of Jesus and its teachings are showing many that Jesus is our only way to overcome and be redeemed.  I thank you brother Ron for this opportunity and I thank our Lord Jesus for calling us to know Him and live as He lived: Perfect, Sinless and in obedience to the Ten Commandments.
Jon, CO

Dear Brother in Christ,
What’s up?  Not much going on here at Sing-Sing.  While walking, I came across a little paper folded up on the ground.  I picked it up and I saw “Change Your Life Biblically”.  Can you please send me this book.  When I get on my feet, I’ll look out with some funds.
Fulton, NY

Dear Ron,
I received a letter from you yesterday.  Thank you.  I appreciate your letters of encouragement and brotherly kindness.  I know that God will not place a heavy yoke on me or give me more than I can bear.  I sometimes stray from my walk, but I’m getting better at not doing that.  Thank you for all that you do.
Michael, CA

Hello,
Ron, I’m 39 and currently serving a 5 year sentence with a judicial review in 3 months.  I’m hoping and praying for a miracle.  But if it is not His will for me to go home, I will continue to praise and worship God.  I would like to start receiving your Bible studies.  A friend let me read the booklet of your story and it gives me so much hope.
Susanne, OK

Dear Ron,
I read your book and it was inspirational.  I am interested in Jesus Christ Prison Ministry.  I will like to complete the study guide and “2nd Peter’s 8 Steps”.  I am in Maximum secure prison.  I am constantly surrounded by negativity.  I also gave three inmates your address and they was excited about writing to you.  Please send me the Bible study, “Change Your Life Biblically”.  I look forward to hearing back from you at your early convenience.  God bless you Ron and continue spreading the Word of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Raymond, MD

Hello,
I found a Jesus Christ Prison Ministry “Introductory Issue” on the bookshelf and would like to continue Bible studies.  Also, my friends who are listed on the enclosed form.  Can you please send us the study?
Linda, IN

JCPM,
Hello again.  I’d like to thank you for sending me the booklet.  I indeed would like to take the study.  I so yearn to be closer to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  I would highly appreciate it to begin receiving the Bible course.
Jon, CA

JCPM
I received your “Introductory Issue” out of nowhere.  But I have to admit, it couldn’t of come at a better time.  Things haven’t been too hot lately and maybe it’s because I’m going down the wrong path?  I read “History of the Ministry” and I would definitely like to continue with Bible studies.
Carlos, NV

JCPM
You told me God gave you my name and number to send me this Bible study.  I wholeheartedly believe you.  No one else does.  I’ve heard we don’t find God, He finds us.  I’ve been praying, not only for His presence, but to show me some love.  He revealed how to love Him, obviously He’s always loved me.  I’m trying to get people this message.  I speak highly and humbly on it.  But people seem hesitant.  I give them your address and tell them it’ll only cost a stamp.  Sometimes I even offer to pay the stamp.  It feels like an uphill battle.  Maybe people are scared or not ready for the truth.  People seem to say, “I think . . .” a whole lot about the Bible.  People are so prideful of their own understanding.  Everyone believes in their own way.  I pray for them.  I thank you again for this book.  I’ve been working on it for over a year.  I love this book so much.  I want to keep it.  I have to share this knowledge with someone I think will understand it and take it to heart.  My sister just got out of prison and is going to church on Sunday.  Please send her a copy of your book.
James, PA

Dear Ron,
I received your booklet and I’m interested in continuing with the Bible studies.  I’m requesting that you send my brother the same teaching.  I know that he will appreciate it like I do.  Thank you.
Kaabar, IL

JCPM,
I’m writing to request the Bible studies.  I’m really looking forward to it.  Enclosed you will find another name I’m going to share your Bible study with.  Thank you for your time and God bless you.
Rudolph, CA

Dear JCPM,
I’m currently serving a 30 year prison sentence for robbery.  I happened to come across one of your mailing pamphlets from my new cellmate.  I was just recently in a transitional/disassociation from the Islamic religion.  It’s not the way I believe God wants me to travel and become closer to Him.  Originally, I was raised Baptist, but due to my own understanding, I went astray.  I am trying to partake in your ministry and obtain the possible blessings from finally returning back to the right way.  If it is possible to be accepted amongst the community of your ministry, I in return will do my best with what I have to be a productive member.
Jihad, VA

Dear Ron,
I just read the “History of the Ministry” and that was a very good testimony how Jesus guided you through prison and when you got out on parole.  Pretty powerful.  I would like to continue in Bible studies to grow in Jesus Christ.  I too have witnessed these people in here, the church in prison, stating that the Law of God is done away with and we are under grace and that the Law has been nailed to the cross.  So I know what you went through because I’m experiencing it now and have been for a while.  Please send me the Bible study.
Michael, OK

Hello,
I would first like to say, “Hi, and God bless you”.  I am writing you this letter in hopes that you can help me stay out of trouble.  I’d rather fill my nights up with Bible studies then sit around here getting into worldly things.  I found your flier in the chapel library.  I noticed the free part about it right away because I don’t have any money.  And I don’t believe that I will be receiving any real soon.  If you could bless a fellow believer with some godly things to help him grow closer to the Lord, I would truly appreciate it very much.
Roy, FL

Hello,
I’m writing to ask if JCPM could please send me the book called, “Change Your Life Biblically”?  Thank you very much.
Angel, CA

JCPM,
I’m just writing to inform yawl that I’m interested in joining your Bible study programs.  I like to thank you in advance.
Cordell, FL

JCPM,
What an enlightening material!  I enjoyed these “8 Steps” so much.  This booklet really made me think.  There are so many things I read that I needed to hear.  God used this small material to convict me of so much.  I often wonder why inmates here who go to church and lift their hands to God, go back to the yard and with those same hands commit so much sin and evil?  So many seem to be very 2-sided in their actions.  I hear many women say that it is okay for them to sin because God will love them no matter what.  They are lost and confused.  Please send me your book!
Jessica, AZ

Ron,
I’m 26 years of age and currently serving 3 years for having a firearm.  I will like to continue my walk with God.  I will like to do your Bible study.
Rick, CA

Hello Ron,
I got another letter of encouragement from you a few days ago.  I am grateful.  Thank you.  I will send more sheep to you soon.  You said to get a few names so I will.  Here is one.  My cellmate wants to be a part of the ministry.  He’s been to prison a few times like me, but wants to change his life.  He gets out soon.  I have just started on “Change Your Life Biblically” and again, thank you.
Michael, CA

To Whom It May Concern,
I am serving a 6 year prison term.  I just received this pamphlet in the mail a few days ago.  I am interested in working towards a certificate.  Thank you.
William, CA

Dear Ron,
I really enjoyed this study.  I already knew from reading the Bible that God’s divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness.  The thing I enjoyed the most is how well put together it was.  It was very refreshing how you intertwined your experiences in prison with the study.  One of the things that I learned from this study is that just naming the name of Christ will not save me in my sins.  I also learned that “once saved” doesn’t mean “always saved”.  This is something that a lot of jailhouse and prison preachers preach.  This is more proof that some preachers will lead people to destruction.  I love knowing that I can do all things through Jesus.  Lots of people believe that just because they go to church they are Christians and are saved.  It’s also good to know that I don’t have to go to church to be saved.  There are a lot of churches out there that are not of the true God.  There is a lot I need to learn about the things in the Bible and I look forward to getting the book, “Change Your Life Biblically”.
Burnice, FL

Ron,
I learned that once you are saved that does not mean that you are always saved.  This is contrary to the belief that I was taught.  It makes sense.  I learned that self-control is the remedy of success.  I believe millions of us are in prison due to lack of self-control.  “2nd Peter’s 8 Steps” is very thought provoking.  I came to the realization that a lot of things that I was taught was false.  I think the most imperative part was two or three pieces do not make the whole picture.  I learned based on selected texts and this is why I think a lot of things in “2nd Peter’s 8 Steps” taught was refreshing.  I want a copy of “Change Your Life Biblically”.
Raymond, MD

Ron,
This has been an awesome teaching on what it really means to be a Christian and how to be saved.  I have learned truths about faith, love and the keeping of the commandments of Jesus.  I’ve learned that if we say we love Him and call Him our Savior and Lord, then we must do what pleases Him.  We are to give up our old way of thinking and put on the mind of Christ.  We must spend our precious time learning and growing in the knowledge of His great love for us.  We must persevere and remain steadfast in our faith.  We must separate ourselves from unbelievers because bad company corrupts good character.  Thank you Ron for this very helpful study.
Orlando, TX

Brother Ron,
It is refreshing to know you and see you doing the Lord’s Work.  I would love to receive your God inspired book, “Change Your Life biblically”.  I love your ministry and it shows me something I can do with a limited supply of resources.  I pray God raise me up and uses me to do His will when I get out.  God has humbled me in here in prison and He is cleansing me.  My heart is being purified.  We have started Bible studies here in my pod and God is answering prayers with just that alone.  It is awesome to see God move.
Earl, NM

Brother Ron,
You are absolutely amazing!  The “Step out in faith” you have taught me through your personal journey in your newsletter has been a clarification to my walk: my “Step out in faith”.  I find it rather mind boggling how so many of the people on this planet have never even heard of Jesus Christ.  In the SOP, we read where those who never knew Jesus but obeyed the prompting of the Holy Spirit will still be in Heaven because they lived up to all the light they had and obeyed the Holy Spirit.  But now-a-days, there’s NO NEED for anyone to not know Christ.  We just all should do our job, what we are called to do, right!  I study with sister KIKI and she was teaching all that you are.  It’s assurance to me.  I’m ready for “Change Your Life Biblically”.  Thank you so much brother.  I’ve learned that a lot of my beliefs of being a sinner and the “I’m only human” excuse is a lie of the devil.  He is, after all, the father of them all.  It’s not about me and feeling sorry for myself or justification for my actions, (unrighteous ones).  It’s all about what GOD’S WORD teaches me and tells me.  My mind is very influential and I tend to follow the crowd more times than I would like.  I am to guard my heart, mind, strength and soul with all diligence, persevering through the windiest storms in life.  I am a child of God.  He loves me so much.  It doesn’t matter about age, sex, religion, race, etc., on how I treat others.  It’s not up to me to pick and choose who I’m nice to or who to accept.  I am to love ALL, without prejudice.  Now I don’t have to agree with their practices, but I am called to see them as a lost sheep, like I once was.  I am to share the Good News.  I am so grateful and thankful for your workbook.  I’m sharing it with others and I hope it sparks a fire in their hearts.
Ashley, AZ

Dear Ron,
I’ve read your pamphlet and I’ve realized that Jesus is the way for me.  I’d love to get the workbook and all that it entails.  I feel like I’ve been called to do the Lord’s work, but I’m not knowledgeable enough yet to spread His message.  I really need help and hopefully you can lead me down the right path.
Kevin, KY

Greetings,
I received some of your literature from another inmate.  It made me want to write to you.  Ever since I was young, I was surrounded by sin and lived a life of temptation by Satan.  I have never had anyone to show me the way or the truth.  My dad was incarcerated all my life.  My mom was busy trying to work and pay the bills.  I never wanted to be like my father, but now at a young age, I find myself in a prison cell following his footsteps.  Since I have been incarcerated, I’ve been trying to walk with Jesus and teach myself the truth.  But sometimes I come across roadblocks when I read literature and don’t understand it.  Also when I go through life’s trials and tribulations I reach these roadblocks of faith and doubt that God or Jesus is really there or not.  As I teach myself the truth about Jesus, I want my faith to strengthen.  I need help and guidance so I ask if you can add me to your mailing list and send me any free, helpful literature and your book, “Change Your Life Biblically”.  I would like to change my life around and I need God’s help.
Andrew, NV

JCPM,
I’m requesting to be added to your mailing list to receive your course.  I am indigent.
Gavin, TN

JCPM,
I received your booklet.  I have been a believer now for 2 years.  Still new to it.  I would like to continue in Bible studies.  Here is a friend of mine.  He is interested too.
Paul, DE

Hello,
I’m interested in doing the Bible study you offer.  Thank you.  I am excited to get any help that will help me grow spiritually.
Pedro, CO

Dear JCPM,
I received your pamphlet and I am totally interested in your “8 Steps” program.  A life threatening experience really helped me overcome my spiritual blindness.  I’m impressed by all the responses in your newsletter pamphlet.  I have a thirst for spiritual knowledge and any assistance in my religious journey.  So God bless you and I impatiently await your response.
Keith, NV

Dear Ron,
I’m interested in the Bible studies.  Please send me the course “2nd Peter’s 8 Steps”.  I’m currently on lockdown as I write this, but I’ll forward this info to other inmates when lockdown is over.
Sean, CA

To Whom It May Concern,
First and foremost, thank you for helping to open my eyes in some very life changing ways.  I’ve been blessed to read some from your book, “Change Your Life Biblically”.  However, it’s been cut short due to the owner going home.  I will be here a while and would like a copy of your book, if these times permit it.  I don’t want to take up too much of your time, but just know that your work isn’t falling on deaf ears.
Ray, CA

Dear Ron,
I learned that God can offer me so much in my life.  I learned that He wants me to share that with others.  It’s going to be difficult to change my life, but I’m ready to begin my journey.  God needs us to spread the Word.  I’m going to do this.
Maximilian, FL

Ron,
As I read the booklet, “2nd Peter’s 8 Steps”, I became amazed how one inmate dedicated his life to educate others.  I realize that faith is an important factor to walking toward God.  Within it, obedience is mandatory when it comes to moving forward.  It amazes me that the Bible is like a jigsaw puzzle.  We must put all the pieces together.  This course shed light on people who use the Bible to support their position and mislead people to destruction.  Not too many people walk the example when reading the Bible.  I understand that believers must set the example in speech, in life, love, faith, purity.  It is up to us to make the decision each day to practice our beliefs and live the example of Jesus.  I have taken quite a few Bible studies in the past and I will truly admit, that this one has helped explain to me the true value of Bible Study.
Richard, CA

JCPM,
I’m very sorry for taking so long to get back to you in regards to my Bible study, “Change Your Life Biblically”.  But I really have a problem.  I got into a confrontation with an officer in here.  My entire Bible study was confiscated.  I do need another copy of the Bible study.  I promise not to let this happen again.  I will admit, it is the most challenging Bible study that I’ve ever done.  At the same time, I’ve learned more in “Change Your Life Biblically” than I have in any other Bible study.  I’m very dedicated to complete it.  Although I may be the slowest reader in the world, you have my word that I will definitely do the best that I can.
Jeremy, TX

Dear Sir,
Recently a friend and brother in the faith shared your newsletter with me and recommended your book, “Change Your Life Biblically”.  I would like to order this book and also be placed on your mailing list for the newsletter.  My friend and I are in the same dorm and we are both believers in keeping the Ten commandments.
Terry, TX

Ron,
Thank you for reaching out to me.  I haven’t a clue as to how you got my info.  It must have been meant to be for our paths to cross.  I had been forced fed religion for the majority of my childhood.  Everyone wanted me to live a certain way and I wanted to do what I wanted to do.  I’ve been free on the streets for a total of 13 months since 2005.  My brother is a preacher and he hasn’t pressured me into anything.  I do not attend church here because I can’t really get past a lot of these guys with sexual crimes against children and have made it their safe haven.  I know it’s not morally correct to condemn or pass judgement on them.  I’ve never understood the Bible so I don’t own one.  I know that doing the things I used to do will lead me right back here and I’m tired of being in prison.  I have shied away from organized religion because I feel that they need to take the focus off of themselves and politics and focus on Jesus.  I understand a lot of the Bible and I’m very intrigued by learning about religion.  I’m interested in the peace you have.  I would ask for some guidance.  I understand that I have to make a conscious decision and have the willingness to follow the righteous path.  I don’t feel that I can not become another statistic without a support system in my life.  Clearly everyone I called friends left long ago when I came to prison.  I am interested in allowing God to work in my life.
Joey, KY

Dear JCPM,
I recently gave my life to Christ.  I was given your info from a person who used to come to our prison and do Bible studies.  I would like to study the Bible through your ministry.  I would also like to meet people who are Christians and I could look up to after my release.
Shawn, NV

JCPM,
I learned that being saved by grace alone is a lie.  I learned I cannot serve two masters if I truly believe God and am a new creation.  I will bear fruit.  Change will happen and my life will change.  If I don’t change I am a liar.  To love God is to believe Him.  To believe is to act.
Ray, CA

Dear Ron,
Thank you for sending me the “History of the Ministry”.  It’s awesome how a person can change their life around and how the Lord can open so many wonderful doors.  I would love to continue my Bible studies as well I’m thankful for your help and support as I learn how to walk with Jesus.  My cellie would also like to receive the Bible studies.
Andrew, NV

To Whom It May Concern,

Just finished reading “History of the Ministry”.  I would like to continue my learning.  I desire to continue Bible studies.  Enclosed is $100 donation to support the ministry.
Antwain, MO

Hello,
I would like to request a copy of your book, “Change Your Life Biblically”.  I had an opportunity to glance over a fellow inmate’s copy and found it quite enlightening.  I strive to grow in my faith and spirituality through Biblical knowledge and principles.  It seems to me more now than ever that mainstream Christianity has gotten all wrong and many are led astray.  I serve God with my whole heart and soul.
Jonathan, WI

To Whom It May Concern,
I currently had the chance to read a few pages of your book, “Change Your Life Biblically”.  But the person who had it was released and went home and took the book with him!  I am very interested in reading your book.  I would like to know if I could please get a copy of it.  I’d like to thank you for your time.  I’m fairly new to religious lifestyle and can use all the help I can get.
Kelly, PA

JCPM,
I was told to ask for your workbook.  I’m new in my walk and really need to get a greater understanding.  Can you please help me get my spiritual strength on a higher level.  Thank you.
Korey, TX

Dear Ron,
I received your Introductory Issue.  I am glad to hear how you got started in the ministry.  Great job my friend.  So many people come to prison and do nothing with their time.  I myself am trying to change my life and I’ve realized that I can’t do it on my own.  I’ve tried and it just didn’t work out.  I  need God’s help.  So I would really like to take your Bible study course.  So if you could send it to me, I would be forever grateful.
Kelly, PA

Dear Ministry,
I am currently incarcerated on a 9 year sentence.  I came across your book, “Change Your Life Biblically” from a cellmate.  I have always trusted the Lord Jesus Christ and know He is the only One true God over the universe.  I read a little of your book, but I am not a fast reader because I absorb what I read.  Could you get a copy of your book sent to me so I can really study what you have wrote?  I found some interesting things in it just by “thumbing” through the book recently.
Norman, TX

Dear Ron,
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to fill out the packet.  I believe I have much to learn and I would like to further my Christian education if you would be willing to send me the book “Change Your Life Biblically”.  I would so much appreciate that opportunity to learn more.  I have been locked up now getting close to a year and I know it’s time I change my life for the good and not the evil in the world.  I’ve seen too much evil and I want to see the good.
Chase, CO

Hello,
Recently I’ve been praying and stuff, trying to get closer to God.  People have been trying to direct me to them in a way I have failed to realize.  I haven’t been the most spiritual person, but I do believe in a higher power.  I don’t have too much longer left.  I’ve been down 4 1/2 years.  It’s kind of scary and now all of a sudden this shows up at my door with no inclination on how.  Unbelievable.  So I decided to see what this is all about and find out my purpose for God.
Deon, TX

JCPM,
I learned a lot that I never knew.  It touched my heart on some things.  I need to know more about faith, knowledge, self-control, perseverance and love.  I have struggled a lot with the things I have listed.  Reading and exploring it in your book and the Bible helped me to learn and understand things differently now.  I appreciate a lot brother Ron for doing a great and wonderful job on this book.
Todd, GA

Dear Ron,
I would really like to start the “Change Your Life Biblically”.  I would really like to be a better man for the Lord.  I would also like to be a better man to my family.  I’ve been in jail for over 7 years and I have three years left to work on myself.  So I really appreciate you giving me a shot at changing my way.
Rob, DE

Dear JCPM,
I just read your newsletter and would love to be placed on your mailing list.  While I’m serving my time, I’m eagerly seeking to learn more about our God.  Thank you for anything you can send to me that will increase knowledge in my new journey.
Lisa, FL

Hello,
I received this booklet from a Christian brother and am writing in request for your “Change Your Life Biblically”.
James, DE

JCPM,
I came across this pamphlet.  I was wanting to come to Christ.  I would like to be saved and would like to take some correspondence courses.
Jesus, AZ

To Whom It May Concern,
I recently gave my life to God.  I would really love to read your book so that I can grow and learn from our great Teacher.  I ask that you please send me a copy of your book, “Change Your Life Biblically”.
Manuel, TX

Hello,
I’m writing to learn more about Jesus and God.  I would love to study and learn “Change Your Life Biblically”.
Ivan, CA

Dear Brother Ron,
First and foremost, “Thank you”.  I’ve read your book three times and I’m 1/2 way through it again.  In the beginning, I almost discarded your book a few times, but I kept picking it back up.  I’m so glad I did.  It’s a masterpiece, really.  It’s so much more than a Bible study.  It took a while but after much study, I believe every thing you say.  I did the Bible study in reception, so I only had a pencil.  I hope you can read it.  The Bible would never have made sense to me had you not broke it down.  I can’t believe so many people are mislead as I was.  I really believed the “Saved by Grace” junk and just say you “believe” and the blood of Christ washes over you.  What a shame.  Well, I can’t thank you enough.  I try to share what you’ve taught me about the Sabbath and 10 Commandments, but I’m walking alone, my friend.  Nobody wants to hear it.
Ray, CA

Ron,
It’s been a few months since you’ve heard from me.  I’m continuing to work on my certification.  The following is what I’ve learned so far.
*GRACE:  I would like to recall an incident that happened to me after I was reading your book.  I got invited to go to a Sunday church which I believe was a protestant meeting.  I was weary and uncomfortable.  I was mentioning to the people around me how I believe the church service was a little off from what I now understand.  As the preacher started to talk, almost immediately he was relying on Jesus’ blood for forgiveness.  It’s all he talked about.  “Oh, thank God for Jesus’ blood”, he kept proclaiming.  I thought to myself, “No wonder I’ve never felt right in church on Sunday.  To be completely honest, I was guilty of relying on grace.  So much that I thought everyone was going to heaven and I basically prayed the whole world into heaven.  God’s Word has showed me I was very wrong.  I was blinded by the devil and he had me in his grips.  We are already in God’s grace.  It has already been sufficient enough.  To show my love to God, I need to show obedience.  I need to understand law.  The service never even mentioned the word “Law” or even spoke about it.  It became scary to me.  How can a man rely and preach about relying on Jesus so heavily that he takes away from the Word of God?  No wonder so many people call us who believe in Jesus, hypocrites.  I think that grace is the biggest misconception of us who follow and want to believe in Jesus.  “Grace” is easy because we can do what we want without consequences.  Grace makes us feel safe which is a terrible idea.  Grace would keep you from the Word of God.  They believe His death and the cross save them and that’s all they need to know.
*WORKS: Well, today is Sabbath and I’m focusing on God.  I just had a conversation with a man who was being yelled at by his homeboy for believing in God.  I pulled him to the side and asked him why his friend was yelling at him.  He told me because the guy didn’t believe in God and he thought he was stupid for believing in something you can’t see.  I asked the guy to come to my cell and get a slip from me.  I’ll let your book and God explain things to this guy and maybe next time he’ll have the right word to explain to his friend why he believes.  I now obey the Sabbath by reading the Word, relaxing, praying, staying away from idle conversations and the TV.  I believe I am working on my salvation by obeying God.  I’m trying to comprehend the Word of God and then apply it to my life.  He wants me to work for my salvation by being loving and helpful.  I’ve hardly ever thought about anyone but myself.  I used to love rap music, drugs, sex, money and other possessions.  I was so wrapped up in the world.  All I cared about was evil things.  I have come along way from who I was 8 years ago when I first got locked up.
James, PA

To Ronald,
I am a fairly new Christian looking for info from JCPM.  I am a Christian, but I need training.  I prayed about it and your name and address came to me.
Matthew, CA

Hello Ron,
I am 35 years old and I have spent most of my adult life in prison.  I don’t get out of prison till 2025.  I know this isn’t the life I want to live anymore.  I’ve made a lot of mistakes in the past, but I’m trying to learn to live right.  Someone got one of your Jesus Christ Prison Ministry packets in the mail and fished it down to me.  I read your story over and over.  I like your story and all I can say is, it takes a lot of courage to live and build something off of faith alone.  My hat is off to you.  I appreciate and respect what you do for people.  I really want to read your book, “Change Your Life Biblically”.  I want to work towards a better understanding of what Jesus wants from me.
Brent, OR

Hello Ron,
I’m 20 years old.  I’m a Christian and have been for several years.  But I’m taking this time to really learn and study the Bible.  I don’t have any idea who gave you my info for your ministry to send me the Introductory pamphlet, but I’m blessed to be able to receive it.  I would like to get in line for the “CYLB” study book, or any material you may have.
Brandon, WA

Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,
Myself, as well as my dear friend, would both like to continue with the learning you’ve suggested.  I have successfully filled out the information for the “Change Your Life Biblically”.  I would love to discover what new path is ahead for us both.
De’Quantez, OH

Hey,
This brochure has been sitting on the table in my cell for a year now.  For some reason, I haven’t thrown it away.  Today is the day I finally decided that it would be leaving my cage - either in a trash bag or in an envelope.  I’m not sure what you want to know.  I’ve been in since I was 18 and am now on my 32nd year of a life sentence.  Though I’m not promising that I’ll read it, you are welcome to send me the book.  So, thanks.  And whether I hear back from you or not, either way it’s one less piece of paper cluttering my cell.
Donald, OR

Dear Ron,
I would love to do your Bible studies.  I am Catholic, but am always willing and hungry to learn about the Bible.  Please send me what I need to get started.
Ore, NC

Dear Brother Ron,
I just received your letter.  Thank you for taking the time to write me.  Again, your book has done so much for me.  I have 6 prison terms.  I just came back after only being out 2 months.  I’ve learned from CYLB that I will not be saved if I do not follow God’s Commandments.  I learned that saved by Grace or faith alone is a lie.  I think the book is a masterpiece because it goes outside the Bible and lets you know what was going on in those times.  I learned about the Roman Empire and how Christianity became a melting pot with these pagan religions around them.  How Constantine converted and turned over power to the Catholic Church.  God warns us we are to come out of the church.  I’ve learned this and so, so much more.  Thank you.
Ray, CA

JCPM,
I’ve just read, “History of the Ministry” and it is an amazing and inspiring story.  I’m extremely interested in continuing my learning in Bible studies.  I’m not sure how or why I was sent the information, but it is part of His plan and I will follow it.  Please share with the following inmates.
Edwin, CT

Dear Friends of Jesus,
I want to start by saying that I was actually going through a rough patch and suddenly my name was called for mail.  I received the “Introductory Issue” of the Jesus Christ Prison Ministry.  I immediately read the pamphlet and was instantly interested in continuing the Bible studies that you guys offer.  So now, I think it’s time for me to request.  I would like to thank you for reaching out to me.
Joey, VA

Hello,
I’m 26 years old.  I am serving a life sentence.  A friend talked to me a little about this program I’m not very familiar with.  I know it’s Bible based.  That is what I need in my life.  I grew up with Bible principles, however, as I got older, I started to drift away from the truth.  But, for the last year or so, I’ve lost trust in God.  I’ve expressed anger towards God.  I was falling into spiritual darkness.  I refuse to lose the hope I still have left.  I want to feel trust and faith in God again.  I want to  feel the joy of serving Christ.  I’ve had the address for this program for a while but I finally made the choice to try it out.  I honestly don’t know what to expect or how this works.  But I know what I want.  I want encouragement in the truth.  I want to get back on track.
Fabian, CA

To Whom It May Concern,
I received a sentence of fifteen years to life for second degree murder.  I’m currently twenty-eight years old.  Currently, I’ve had a lot of setbacks in  my time incarcerated.  The reason for this letter is to get enrolled in the assistance that your place offers.
Pablo, CA

To Whom It May Concern,
I’m writing to you because I’m interested in your services.  I’ve been in prison for the past 5 years.  I’ve been studying the Bible the length of those years.  For the most part, its been just me and God walking through this trial.  I look forward to hearing from you.
Mark, WI

Hello,
I will be turning 48 years old in a couple of days.  I have landed in prison for the first time in my life.  I just finished reading “History of the Ministry”.  I was wondering if you could send me the book called, “Change Your Life Biblically”.  I am a new Christian and I’m doing everything I can to make this negative experience into a positive one.  I don’t ever want to come back too prison.
Terry, CA

Hello,
I got 60 years.  So far I’ve done 27 years and 4 months.  I was 19 years old when I got arrested.  I was strung out on dope and did a horrible thing.  I enjoy doing Bible studies.  I lost all my family since I’ve been locked up.
Gary, TX

God Bless,
I received the wonderful book, “Change Your Life Biblically” and I can honestly think different about everything that I’ve read in the Bible as well as a lot that has been brought to light.
Keith, MI

Dear JCPM,
First, let me say, “Thanks” for taking time to send me this Bible study course and enlightening me on the Lord’s spiritual message He has set for my life.  My spiritual journey is the most important thing in the world to me.  To have an opportunity to strengthen my relationship and walk closer with God is something I always looked forward to doing.  I would like to further my studies and take advantage of everything your ministry has to offer.
Brian, IL

Dear Brother Ron,
The “History of the Ministry” has impressed and inspired me so much that I got on my knees and gave my life to Jesus.  I’m ready to continue to whatever is next and my walk with Jesus.
Julian, NC

Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,
I received your “History of the Ministry” today and would like to learn more what your ministry teaches.  You make reference to being led by the Holy Spirit and I have learned that it is impossible to walk in the teachings of Christ without the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Daniel, NY

JCPM,
After reading “History of the Ministry” I feel deep down this is what God wants me to make priority number 1 in my life.
Tommy, AZ

Dear JCPM,
I’m writing to you to request “Change Your Life Biblically”.  I’ve seen others with this Bible study.  Can you bless me with it in Spanish?
Molina, TX

Hello,
A couple of weeks ago I received your pamphlet.  It came at the perfect time.  Your story is one I feel I can definitely relate to.  That is why I am responding.  I’ve been incarcerated for 17 years straight now.  Since I was 18 years old.  I’ve lost most of my family during my incarceration.  For a long time I was skeptical and cynical about religion.  It wasn’t until recently that I started to reevaluate my disbeliefs.  That is why it was a shocking surprise to receive word from you.  Maybe God has a plan that is starting to set into motion.
Frank, CO

Hi Ron,
I just read the “History of the Ministry”.  I feel like I want to start my next step and start the Bible studies.  I am glad you have reached out to fellow prisoners with your wisdom from our Father.  I can’t wait to hear back from you.
Brandon, MN

Brother Ron,
After reading the “History of the Ministry”, I’m feeling something in my spirit move.  The choice was and is very easy to write to you at this time in hopes to start a beautiful relationship with you and JCPM.  I’m more than willing to give my all for the kingdom.
Paul, IL

Dear Ron,
I thank God for you to continue with the monthly publications.  I enjoy and continue to ruminate on the line by line scripture commentary and the facade of the “church”.  Facade was the word that came to mind and upon looking at the definition, it is very fitting: “an imposing appearance concealing something inferior”.  I have to laugh as you continue to speak to the “church”.  I thank God for the boldness He has put within you to expose the main face of the building that is hiding/concealing something inferior.  Jon and I have been discussing this a lot over the past 3 or 4 months as to the intentions within our hearts.  Jon is a courageous man and freely admits to the struggle.  I was hardened, I was stiff-necked, I was stubborn and naive in thinking I, I could pull the proverbial wool over His eyes.  I look back and see how I destroyed relationships with friends and family.  But most importantly, my relationship with God.  He has opened my eyes, my ears and my heart to understand.  I would like to close by thanking you for the diligence and patience for all of us undergoing the “heart change”.  Please accept the enclosed stamps to help with JCPM’s work.
Michael, CO

Brother Ron,
Just a few lines to say, “Hello” and “May God Bless You”.  I received the newsletter “The Scattering” and it was a great read and had a lot of knowledge within the words.  I am still working on CYLB and I am enjoying it to the fullest.  I read the book twice and I’m on the 3rd time, but answering some of the questions as I go.  You know, one thing that really gets on my nerves?  That’s when people say, “we are not perfect”.  However, I do realize that they say that to cover up their sins.  As I said, I’m Muslim and I had a Muslim brother in the cell with me at the time.  And I was telling him how I was torn between Islam and Christianity.  He would say, “Aki, you have to quit doubting Allah and start praying daily and give into Islam”.  So I’d say, if you firmly believe in Islam, why do you do things that is against Islam?  He would say “I’m not perfect”.  He use to talk a lot about how he would get out and sell drugs to get on his feet, or sell them in here to come up.  I’d say simply, “Allah wouldn’t want that”.  He would say, “I know, but we are not perfect”.  I’d say, “Yeah, but brother when you aren’t trying to be perfect, you never will.”  I believe that we can live a perfect and obedient life, but we have to really want it with all of our heart.  Because that’s all it boils down to.  That is where the “true you” comes from.  If our heart is wicked, then no matter how much good we want to do, the wickedness will still seep out.  Our heart out weighs our mind by far.  And that’s why I am struggling so hard.  Because in my mind, I am Muslim and I try to live an Islamic life.  But Christ keeps knocking on my heart and I’m struggling horribly with my faith.  The bad thing is, I believe its actually making me worse.  But since I’ve been reading your pamphlets and CYLB book, it has been helping me with my old beliefs.  Which, when I read my Bible and study God’s Word, I feel much better in life.  I am not so down and out.  I feel lifted up.  I know we don’t base our faith on feelings, but if a person is feeling depressed when he lives one way, but then feels lifted up when he changes his ways, I believe some kind of feelings has to be with it.  For if we had no feelings, then how could we feel the Holy Spirit at times?  Before I began getting books from your ministry, I was deeply depressed.  I didn’t care if I lived or died.  For real, I didn’t care if I went to hell.  I was miserable.  But since JCPM came into my life, I feel more revived and want to live again.  Most importantly, I want to walk with Jesus again.  I just wanted to thank you for your books.
Daniel, VA

JCPM,
Church is what used to represent my love and worship for God.  Now I realize I was misdirected by the evil forces.  I can’t be saved by singing or listening to a man preach about grace.  I have always enjoyed being outside.  It has always brought me peace and close to God.  Even behind these bars, when I go outside, I look up and smile because I know God is close to me.  The church is me.  My body is God’s temple.  There has been some very bad church situations like Jimmy Swagger and a couple other guys.  I’ve had my heart and mind open for a while now.  The message you have brought me is very strong.  I’m going to continue gathering up information and passing on what I have learned.  I believe the Holy Spirit has given me a renewal of the mind.  I’ve turned from my earthly desires and set my heart and mind on Jesus.  God never intended for us to worship in buildings.  He meant for us to worship in our hearts and our actions.
James, PA

Hello,
I would like to start the book and study “Change Your Life Biblically”.  Enclosed is a copy of the flyer.  I look forward to being able to read and study the book.  I’ve been incarcerated 22 years.
Leon, CA

JCPM,
I’ve learned that we have to walk the same way Jesus has walked this earth.  To keep the Ten Commandments.  Not only because we say that we are saved, but continue to do His service and lead by example.  Otherwise, the power of God will leave us.  We need to humble ourselves and have self-control and be fruitful to do all good that we know and to forgive.  I truly do love this way of teaching because it teaches us how the Old and New Testaments support each others.  I’m so happy right now to just be spilling out my heart and knowing that if I walk the way of Jesus I’ll be in Heaven.  I want to thank you for all that you do.
Rigoberto, CA

Hello,
I’m writing in regards to “Change Your Life Biblically” workbook.  Recently my cellmate gave me the form and referred me to you.  I’m fairly new to the faith and currently have been locked up for two years.  I’ve decided in my life it is impossible to live without God.  I hope reaching out to you and you giving me the resources to educate myself and grow my relationship with the Lord will benefit me greatly.
Timothy, ID

To Whom It May Concern,
I’m in Federal Prison.  I’ve read your story.  I’ve got 5 years to go.  I want to change my life before I get out.  I can’t live like this any more.  I’ve started reading the Bible a lot and praying every day.  Hopefully I can keep it up.  I’m transferring in 4 to 6 months.  I would love to get your book.
Chris, FL

Dear JCPM,
I have just received “Change Your Life Biblically”.  Thank you for rushing me this awesome spiritual booklet along with another Bible study course so I can continually build my relationship with the Lord.  I would love to get started with this study.
Brian, IL

Dear Brother Ron,
I wanted to reach out to you with my gratitude for your work.  I have read your Introductory Issue.  I want to read more about this book called, “Change Your Life Biblically”.  I was talking with a fellow brother.  I want to read more and continue in Bible studies.  I desperately want to study your book as well as the Bible.  Through the knowledge that I’m told your book will bring me, I am requesting more.
Mike, KY

Dear Ron,
The first thing that I noticed was that though I have read 2nd Peter a few times, I had never truly understood it or paid attention.  (I need to stop doing that).  What I learned from 2nd Peter’s 8 steps is, first, That God’s divine power has given us everything we need to live a godly life.  I also learned that through His promises, I am able to share in His divine nature.  But this means that I have to live according to His Word if I want to be able to defeat the corruption of the world.  I also learned that Paul is quoting from the Old Testament a lot when he speaks of Scripture.  I have to be mindful of this every time I read any of Paul’s letters.  This makes a huge difference in interpreting Scripture (NT).  I also learned (and am still digesting) that my salvation is something I have to keep earning.  Just because I have already accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, that doesn’t mean I can live however I want.  It doesn’t mean “once saved, always saved” as I have been taught for a long time.  This next one really touched my being.  I have decided I’m going to make it my mantra.  I’m not going to think of myself as a prisoner no more, but as a volunteer missionary for Jesus from now on.  I’m going to put this to practice everyday and act on it.  Another very important thing I’m catching on to as well is that the Old Testament is just as important as the New Testament and it was never done away with.  This is another thing that people here have been teaching me.  But I see now that it is not true.  Thank you for opening my eyes to this.  I am really, really grateful.  I don’t know how I didn’t catch it before that Paul is speaking about the Old Testament in his letter to Timothy.  This is awesome to me.  Luke 16:29, 31 was also an eye opener.  I’m amazed that I never caught it myself.  I’ve been paying attention to what people are saying and teaching instead of letting the Holy Spirit guide me.  I’m ashamed of this.  Another thing, I will start practicing and speaking that my salvation is in my own hands.  It is my responsibility and no one else’s.  I am going to start taking my duty to Christ seriously.  I am also going to study more about Jesus as my Lord and stop calling Him Lord if I don’t even know why I’m calling Him Lord.  I believe I have finally found what was missing, your ministry.  It is as you said, “No more ‘milk’ but ‘meat’”.  I’m ready for it and I want it.  My heart is really desiring more of Jesus and less of me.  I want to live the rest of my life to Christ and to showing others what God is doing in me.  I’ve always felt in my heart that the Christianity that I hear behind the pulpit here is missing something.  It is so watered down.  They make it sound like there are no rules or regulations we have to live by.  I really see now how I was being mislead and I love God for the way He’s opening my eyes to the truth.  Thank you very much brother.  I’m exited to get started with your ministry.  I’ve been praying to God to send me someone to truly disciple me and here you are.
Armando, NV

Dear Brother Ron,
I’ve heard some really neat stories and rumors about this book you are giving away.  A buddy of mine showed me the book, CYLB and gave me all the info I needed on how to get it.  I have read the “History of the Ministry” all the way through and would like to continue my learning of the Bible.  So please, send me my Bible studies.
James, IL

Dear JCPM,
I found the Introductory Issue very interesting.  I look forward to receiving a copy of “Change Your Life Biblically”.  I find your offer upon completion quite rewarding.  That is a good incentive for those who are looking forward to changing their lives.  I find the story in the Introductory Issue amazing because I know upon moving righteously good things happen for good people.  I have seen true believers who moved righteously in the path of the Lord and have been blessed in many ways.
Russell, NY

To Whom It May Concern,
I am inquiring about a book called, “Change Your Life Biblically”.  My neighbor received a booklet and after reading it I decided I needed to read this book.  I am requesting that you put my name on your Bible study program.  Please fill me in on everything that I have requested.  I’m on top of my 11th year of incarceration, going on a 14 year sentence.  I need any and all information that will help me upon my release.  Thank you all for your support in this matter.
Roberto, TX

Dear Ron,
I’m writing this letter because I received your pamphlet, “History of the Ministry” and I read your story.  Thank you for sending it to me.  I think your journey is truly a blessing.  How did you receive my information and what made you send me this pamphlet?  Truthfully, I don’t know what to believe about Jesus.  I’ve dibbed and dabbed through both the Quran and the Bible.  Right now I’m in the process of asking God to show me why am I on this earth?  What’s my purpose?  I’ve been incarcerated for over 18 years now.  I got a little over 3 years to go before I’m released.  It’s incredibly scary because I’m 36 years old now.  I’ll be 39 going on 40 when I’m released.  I have no work history, no skills, no money, no friends, no family support.  Am I scared?  Hell yeah!!!  It seems that the universe and even God at times is continuing to punish me for decisions I made at 17 years old.  Does it even matter that I’m a grown man now with a completely new mind set and outlook on life?  Do I have dreams and goals I want to accomplish?  Of course!  I want to know what it is that God wants from me in order for me to redeem myself in His grace?
Eddie, IL

Hi,
I’m interested in your Bible study.  I would like to start it as soon as possible.
Susana, TX

JCPM,
I received your pamphlet in the mail and it peeked my curiosity.  I’m not a devout Christian behind these walls, but I’m willing to give you a shot.  I’ve tried mail Bible studies before and let them go.  So hopefully, yours shall be different.
Aguilar, CO

JCPM,
I would like to be in your correspondence program, “Change Your Life Biblically”.
Angela, CA

Brother Ronald,
The book, “Change Your Life Biblically” is so important to read.  I thank you brother for writing it.  I will do everything in my power to try to get this book to someone who could use it.  My mother who has never read the Bible wants a copy of it.  I told her to give you a call.  I will share this knowledge with the world.
William, OR

Hello,
Please add my name to your prison outreach ministry’s mailing list.  I met another inmate who has one of your books about changing and improving one’s life biblically.  I would appreciate a copy of the book.
Scott, CA

JCPM,
Your book teaches that the only way we become righteous is by keeping the Ten Commandments!  By obeying the Ten Commandments, not only will be our righteousness as Deuteronomy 6:25 says, but it is the great law that gives us freedom from death and sin.  The way you speak about the “Law” in your book, I have never heard it explained like this and everything is biblical.  Jesus did state that in order to get eternal life we must keep the commandments.  Even though we are born into a world of sin and sinners, Jesus also was born into the same world and we may live His perfect, righteous life by His power.  Jesus did it without sin, so can we!
Philip, KS

Hi John,
My name is Juan and I would like to let you know that the Bible study you provide is something exceptional. My cellmate, Cesar shared a little about this study and about the ministry you manage. I would like to be part of it, if you allow me. Because like me, others, so many brothers, need the Love of God, but we also need to prepare ourselves physically and spiritually. I am a person of great will but of faith, a little weak. So I need your help and also the Lord’s help to strengthen my mind, soul, and heart and you have the perfect tool to be able to achieve my purpose of God. I hope to have an answer soon. May the peace of the Lord and the blessings calm you forever. And thanks for that help that gives us who are the most forgotten. You are that ray of light at the end of the tunnel.
Sincerely and with all my heart,
Your brother in Christ

Prison Mission Report

Ron,

I would like to continue Bible studies with you.  I’ve also sent along my do-defendant’s name.  Could you send her one as well?  I have two more co-defendants - one is my brother and the other is her brother.  Could you send them your Bible study as well, please.  We are all locked up for first degree murder.  Myself and the other males have an attempted first degree murder charge as well.  Your Bible study will be what introduces them to Christ.

Jason, IL

Hello,

Yes, I would like to continue my learning with your Bible studies.  After reading your intro issue, I been floored.  I’m now fixing to be 48 years old.  God been dealing with me for a long, long time.  It’s amazing, you talked about people teaching on Paul’s teachings.  I went to one of those here on the dorm and got bad vibes.  So, I don’t attend but only once in a while.  For the simple fact that it’s been all about the letters to the church and not so much about Jesus.  I ask God to fill me with His Spirit and guide me in His God’s Truth.

Peter, TX

Dear Ron,

I would like to continue my study and request the workbook, “Change Your Life Biblically”.  I really enjoyed the work and your story.  Thank you for bringing the light into my life.  To me, the theme of this is all about what you do and how you live your life.  It’s important to understand Jesus’ teaching as described in the Word.  But more importantly the physical actions you choose everyday.  How you act.  What you do.  Do you help others?  It’s about following His teachings in your everyday actions.  I also am a member of narcotics anonymous and see many similarities in the 12 steps as I do in the teachings of Jesus.  Basically, being a Christian is not all talk, it requires work.  It’s a lifestyle change and the rewards are tremendous.  I really enjoyed the reading and think it’s awesome what you do.

Mark, CA

Dear Ron,

The main thing I learned about was the Old Testament.  I always believed that the Old Testament was done away with at the cross.  I realize now that the New Testament can not exist without the Old Testament.  I learned also that it is possible to live a perfect, sinless life now.  That same Spirit that was in Jesus also lives in me.  I know through faith that there is nothing more powerful than the Spirit of God.  With your help and Scripture, I know now that we can do all things through Jesus Christ.

Jesus, TX

Dear Brother Ron,

I just read your introduction issue that was someone else’s.  Your story was truly inspiring.  I would like to take your Bible study coarse, please.  Thank you for taking the time to read my letter.

Jason, CA

Dear Ron,

I thank you for your quick response to my letter 3 weeks ago.  I have enclosed the answer sheets.  Also, I have enclosed some stamps for the ministry to help those who also want to learn and do the God’s Word.  I thank God for the simplicity that is Jesus Christ and the simplicity that you have gathered in the resources to distribute to all who are seeking.  I would ask for you to pray for me to be this light, to live, promote, teach and support to bring more precious souls to God by doing the Ten Commandments, being perfect and stop sinning.  The 8 Steps have fortified that the Word of God is more than intellectual.  It is action.  It is one thing to academize faith, but it is commitment to our Father and Jesus to do faith.  It is not enough to read the Word of God.  As James spoke, “I will show my faith by my works”.

Michael, CO

Ron,

Hello Brother.  I just finished reading “History of the Ministry”.  I would like to continue in the Bible study.  As I understand, it starts in 2nd Peter.  I like the way that sounds.  I am in reception and am participating in a group type devotional so I can share these teachings with the guys.

Daniel

JCPM,

Through this little book, I’ve learned the importance of the Old Testament.  I have to admit, that before doing this study, I didn’t pay much attention to it even though I’m currently doing a study in the book of Job as an activity I’m involved with through my Aunt’s church in Pennsylvania.  While doing this study and reading the material, it’s helped me to see where I’m lacking in my Christian walk.  I’m now putting more effort in everything I do in Jesus’ name.

Jeff, OH

Ron,

I was talking to my friend and he was telling me about you and your program.  I couldn’t help but to get super interested in all of it.  I am new in my faith and in place like this it is hard to get away from all the crap which I’m sure you know.  However, when I’m reading the Bible or talking to people of the faith, it helps my time pass by.  I find myself thinking that maybe I could reach out upon my release and preach a little myself.

Nathan, ID

Ron,

I have read the “History of the Ministry” and would very much like to continue in Bible studies.  Thank you for the opportunity to learn more about God.  May He keep blessing the ministry always and forever.  I look forward to studying the word which by the way am studying now.  I have been keeping the Sabbath for almost 2 months now and find it very fulfilling for this is the rest the Lord wants for us.

Richard, TX

Ron,

I received your pamphlet, “The Habits”, and man, it is so powerful.  I am starting to read my Bible in a whole new way now.  I already knew that something was wrong and missing in the things the churches and services were teaching and preaching in here.  And the Spirit was also telling me that the Ten Commandments were not done away with.  Up until last week when I received this issue, I was so confused as to what “Law” or “Laws” they were talking about as far as being done away with.  Your pamphlet has cleared all this up for me.  Like I said, I felt it already, but I believe God used you to show me that I was on the right path.  After I get done reading through this issue, I’m going to go and read all about the other 4 laws.  This way when I start preaching the Ten Commandments, I will know how to defend and back up what I am saying.  I am happy to inform you that I belong to none of the churches here.  I never had and I thank God He has allowed me to see the things that are wrong in every single one of them.  Last week, I was asked if I would like to bring the Word to one of the services.  I said, “Yes”.  I plan on speaking on living the perfect, sinless and holy lifestyle that God wants us to live.  I will let you know how that goes.  I’m going to prepare myself using your pamphlets.  I thank God for your ministry.  May He continue to bless you.

Armando, NV

JCPM,

I’m lost for words.  This booklet was overwhelming.  Almost everything that I thought I was doing right, was wrong.  It is helping me realize a lot of things that I would have never thought.  I would like to learn more, please.  Thank you for everything that you guys do for us.

Marcelino, CA

Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,

I was hoping you could provide me with your “Change Your Life Biblically” book.  I am a new brother in Christ and I am looking to expand my knowledge of the Lord.

Steven, IN

Dear Ron,

My brother,  and I say that with the most intimacy.  After reading Jesus Christ Prison Ministry’s Introductory Issue, that had been sent to another inmate, I felt extremely connected with you.  Let me start by saying, “Thank God for you”.  I’ve been waiting to get connected with a ministry and I feel strong about you.  I have spent the last 20 years in prison.  I’m looking forward to starting a brotherly relationship with you.  Could you please send me your Bible study and a copy of your book, “Change Your Life Biblically”?  Please mentor me.

David, CA

JCPM,

Here are some more names for you.  I want to tell you, thank you for this book, “CYLB”!  Not only did you break the Bible down, but it has helped me to understand the truths of God and His Word.  I have been using this book, “CYLB” in the call outs - where I give words of encouragement to my fellow brothers who believe the same way you even believe.  We have been keeping the Sabbath-Saturday and we also have been doing our very best to obey God’s commands.  Your book has been helping all of us out and even people here in this prison are like, “Wow! this guy is a child of God for real.  How can I get a book?”  Even in here, Brother, many have been deceived.  It is sad that only a few ill be saved.  You are right about the churches fallen into pagan teachings.  It is sad to see churches preaching “Jesus” but not the true/real Jesus.  It is sad that people will preach that you have to go to church for salvation, and even to receive God.  You are right, brother, nowhere in Scripture does it say that we are to go to church for our salvation.  And once again, I agree with you when you had mentioned that there was no church building for Adam and Eve to worship in.  Man thinks since he made man-made churches that man can worship any way he wants.  Not true.  Not biblical.  What they do is entertain, like you had said.  Their man-made churches glorifies themselves, not God.  Even in here you can see the counterfeit from the real.  Where is the true gospel at?  That is what I asked myself.  And here comes your book and materials.  Amen to that.  God is still answering my prayers brother.  He has blessed me to be in contact with you.

Phillip, KS

Hi,

I want to know if you can please send me any books or Bible courses?  It would be of great help for me.

Guillermo, CA

JCPM,

Greetings.  I just received your “History of the Ministry” introductory issue and read it along with a friend.  We want for you to please send us the Bible study.  I pray that God continues to bless your ministry with all the resources you all need so you can continue to teach His Word.

Guillermo, TX

Ron,

I have received your booklet and I would love to participate in “Bible study”.  Please send me everything that I have to do to get closer to Jesus Christ.

Samuel, PA

To Whom It May Concern,

I received your address from a friend at our chapel last weekend.  I asked him about getting a Bible and Bible courses.  I’m 57 years old and I’m doing a 30 year sentence.  I’ve done a little over 16 years on it already.  I’ve very seldom been to a church and never even owned a Bible, much less read one.  So, I’ve got a lot to learn.  But I’m willing to learn.  My friend wasn’t able to tell me much about your ministry, so I was hoping you could send me more information on your ministry.

James, FL

Brother Ron,

I just received the 2nd Edition CYLB book.  Thank you so much for the opportunity to earn it.  I really enjoy it.  A couple of the brothers here in my facility enjoyed it too.  We agree how much more the 2nd Edition stands out compared to the original study book.  It is really great.  The new CYLB book is a wonderful asset to have and I really appreciate it so much.  It helps me to stay on track.  It keeps me digging for truth.  I will continue my studies and do my best to help others understand the real true teachings of Jesus.

Jon, CO

Dear Ronald,

I am really interested in what you can teach me.  I have a lot of questions about God.  I hope maybe you could answer.  I don’t have a very good support group.  My family and I don’t get along as well as we should.  I could use all the help I can get.

Anthony, ID

Ministry,

Wow, thank you very much for your Bible study.  I’m currently trying to finish the questions.  This book has changed my mind set and put my heart and mind in the proper direction.  I’ve read my Bible a few times and decided to follow my own analogies.  A lot of us seem to do that.  Before I got this book, I knew I wanted to go home and help people.  Looking back, I realize it’s the only thing in my life that has any value.  Everything else has been selfish and fruitless.  I’m working on passing your message on.  Talking in here can be difficult for me.  But I’m trying.  Maybe it’s better to let your book do the talking for me.  You seem to have a strong and direct message that is loud and clear for any Christian, no matter where they might be at in their faith.  I’m not trying to burden your ministry with more bills, so I’ve included a check to help buy more books.  Even if it only saves one soul, it’s well worth it to me and God.

James, PA

Dear Ron,

I got a letter from you last week.  As well as the 2nd Peter’s Bible study.  Thank you for the calendar that was enclosed with that.  I know this is all a lifetime process.  I am a lot more aware of my behavior and the joy I feel in my life on a daily basis.  I’ve sent a couple of more baby Christians your way.  Anyway, I can’t wait to get out of reception.  Having you and your ministry in my life is what’s going to keep me focused and peaceful.

Mike, CA

Dear Prison Ministry,

Could you please send me “Change Your Life Biblically”.  I’ve received information on this study from another inmate.  He mentioned to me some things that I need to know for my salvation.  Having and obeying God is very important to me.  I want to be able to learn and pass the correct message on to those around me.

Miguel, PA

Hello,

I would like to receive the “Change Your Life Biblically” book.

DeQueese, OK

Hello,

I’m writing you to return this flyer that was given to me for the “Change Your Life Biblically” workbook.  Also, I would like to learn more about your ministry.  “Everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”  Matthew 7:8.  I read that verse a couple of days ago, then prayed asking the Lord to show me to the right fellowship for me.  And believe it or not, the next day your ministry’s address was handed to me out of nowhere by someone I don’t even know.

James, CA

Hello,

For so long, 38 years to be exact, I’ve felt lonely and lost.  It wasn’t until now that I’ve reached rock bottom.  My journey has been lonely and devastating.  I’ve lost loved ones behind my choices, decisions that only hurt the people I love.  Now, I’m here doing a 21 year sentence with 7 more years to go.  I’ve witnessed the acts of God in my life and the Holy Spirit has made a work in me that is beyond understanding.  Please send me a Bible study to proceed in my learning the Word of God.

Alex, CA

Hey Guys,

I’m a newfound Christian.  I’m trying to turn my life around and give it all up to God.  A friend told me to reach out to you guys for assistance on becoming a better Christian.  Anything you guys can help me with, that would be amazing.

Dylan, ID

JCPM,

Now that I’ve finished the “2nd Peter’s 8 Steps”, will you please send me the “Change Your Life Biblically” Bible study.  Its opened my eyes to how I can change my thoughts and my ways and live the life that God and Jesus want me to live.  I learned that even though I have sinned and ended up back in prison, this isn’t the end of the world for me.  God and Jesus Christ have forgiven me and I just need to forgive myself and keep working hard and persevering through it.  This is just a small speed bump in a long road that is my life.  I can get through this.  After all, I do have God on my side.

Jessica, AZ

To Ron,

Lately, the last three churches I’ve been to in prison are really bad.  They are not followers of Christ.  They are followers of the other guy.  I feel that when Christ speaks, that is what really needs to be listened too.

Glen, CA

Dear Brother Ron,

I just received your introductory issue to your ministry.  I enjoyed it as well as other women.  Your story, what an inspiration and testament to the power of prayer and God’s love for us.  After reading all the testimonies, I’m excited to see how much more I can explore and understand the Bible.  People like you are what make the world great.  Proof we are all children of God.  I would be honored if you would send us the Bible Studies.

Sarah, CA

Brother Ron,

Thank you for both of your letters.  I apologize if I seemed to be talking too much about “money” concerns.  I would be so graceful for you to send a CYLB book to my family.  Thank You!  I’ve been digging into CYLB and it has been extremely useful in trying to bring others to the truth.  I can say that it’s proven to be eye opening to some.  But to others, it has revealed something deeper.  It is so great because the layout and the outline of how you put together is much easier of a tool to teach with.  Again, thank you for your help and support.  I will keep you updated and in the “know” of how everything is going.

Jon, CO

Dear Ron,

So here are some names that I hope will take this as serious as I do.  I’m curious as to how many will finish the first booklet to get “Change Your Life Biblically”.  People seem a little skittish to hear the Word.  I mentioned my relationship with God to another inmate and he says, “Don’t assume your relationship with God is better than mine.”  I gave it a second to think about what to say to that.  A ffew minutes later I replied, “Don’t assume your relationship is right with God.”  I decided to go to church with him.  I haven’t been to Sunday church since I started your book.  I already knew from your book and the past attendance of church what might be said.  Of course, it was the same thing.  Forgiveness through Jesus.  No mention of obedience or the 10 Commandments.  He actually said, “It’s a sin not to sing”.  I noticed how proud people are to sing the loudest, clap the loudest.  Of course, I noticed people who had very nice crucifixes around their necks.  I reminded my friend of the commandment about no idols.  It feels wrong.  It feels like paganism to me.  You have showed me how to love Jesus with this book.  Maybe for now I’ll lean on your teachings and lean on the Lord to help get the correct message out.  How did we get so lost?

James, PA

Hello Ron,

I received a letter from you as well as the book, “Change Your Life Biblically”.  Thank you very much for the cool bookmarkers.  God is truly working in my life.  I read the Bible every day and right now I’m in the book of Ester.  I’ll be starting on “Change Your Life Biblically” starting tomorrow.  I pray all the time and I have a good cellmate here at reception.  Soon as I finish the next Bible study I’ll send it.

Mike, CA

Hello JCPM,

I’m striving to become a better man.  I want to improve the quality of other’s lives as well as my own.  To educate myself on what I need to do here on earth before my time is up so that I can enter the Kingdom of Heaven.  I was on the recreation yard this morning when one of my brothers in Christ approached me and shared with me his knowledge of the Jesus Christ Prison Ministry.  I was interested in the organization and open to the assistance that you guys could provide me with.  I would like to have a copy of your workbook.

Kenneth, CA

Dear Ron,

When I came to prison, all I knew was sin.  It was normal for me to sin.  Even while I was incarcerated I was sinning.  Then I realized that I was tired of being locked up.  And this was about five years into my sentence.  But I still didn’t know how to make it on my own.  I was still using drugs and doing what I wanted to do.  I thank God everyday for what I learned from “2nd Peter’s 8 Steps”.  I need to go into strict training to be obedient to His commands.  I need to stay away from bad company and turn away from sin.  I need to stop letting all the small things bug me and humble myself.  I think this was a great Bible study.  I learned a lot from this study and would love to continue studying.  Please send me the next book.

John, VA

Hello Ron,

I very much enjoyed the introductory issue.  Yes, I would like very much to continue with Bible studies.

Dear Ron,

I recently received and read the History of the Ministry.  I would like to further my pursuit of getting closer to God.  Please forward me the Bible studies.

Willie, IL

Dear Ron,

Thank you!  I have received and read the “History of the Ministry”.  I am eager and excited to continue my learning.  My friends would also like to share Bible studies.

Runner, KY

Hi,

I received a booklet from you talking about your time in prison and the struggles that you overcame through your faith in God.  How you used a negative situation and turned it into a positive one.  I would love to get closer to God and all He has to offer me as a Christian believer.  I am very interested in your Bible studies and what you have to offer me.

David, CO

Hi,

I was referred to you guys by a friend.  I am interested in the “Change Your Life Biblically” workbook.  I would highly appreciate it if the workbook could be sent to me.

Jose, AZ

Ron,

I received your introductory issue.  But I was running with the wrong people.  I have stopped running with them.  It was so hard to get them to understand that I was done with that life style.  I was going through my paperwork and found your issue.  When I woke up this morning, I read it and really enjoyed it.  I have been locked up for 8 years and have a couple left to do.  I don’t understand why it took me so long to want to change my life around.  Now I have started reading the Bible.  I am really interested in doing your bible study.

Rocky, VA

Hello,

I came across one of your workbooks, “Change Your Life Biblically”, on the shelf.  I would like to receive one of my own.  The book on the shelf has already been used.  I want to be able to answer the questions and put my own thoughts in your books as well.

Chelsea, TN

Dear Ron,

Enclosed please find the names of those of us who would like to enroll in your Bible Study Course and receive the CYLB.

Samson, TX

Dear Brother in Jesus Christ,

I received the handbook you sent me and it was amazing how you got your ministry.  God has blessed you so you can be a blessing to others.  I am writing because I am interested in the Bible study that you offer.  Here I send you back the forms so you can process them and send me the courses.  I want to learn more and more about Jesus so I can do His job.

Antonio, VA

Dear Ronald,

What a relief to hear from you.  Your letter is very encouraging to give me more ambition to even study harder.  “Change Your Life Biblically” is very interesting.

Ivan, CA

Dear Ron,

This Bible Study was by far the most challenging, entertaining, terrifying and helpful that I’ve ever been a part of.  The Bible has never been broke down to me and it’s honestly terrifying to know that I was headed in the wrong direction while calling myself a “Christian”.  A lot of the info in CYLB is new to me.  I’m very glad that it was revealed to me through you and your book.  A lot of us today are living the wrong way.  The correction on the Sabbath day was also interesting because I always believed that Sunday was the true Sabbath.  That is what I was taught as a child.  So, again, thank you for breaking that down to me and helping me understand.  Your book has changed my life more than I’m able to explain right now.  The Bible study was like a beacon of light to me.  I’m usually always down and out in here.  I’m currently in Solitary Confinement.  Therefore, it gave me something to do during the day.  Thanks for blessing me with the “true” knowledge that I know today.  Completing CYLB is probably the best thing that I’ve ever accomplished in prison.

Jeremy, TX

Dear Ron,

I received the Introductory booklet issue.  Thank you.  I read the whole thing and it warmed my heart.  Your fearlessness is inspiring.  I have previously completed a few other Bible studies and would like to request your Bible studies.  I love the fact that to your ministry the Sabbath day is Saturday and not Sunday.  I personally believe that it’s Saturday.  Also, I got another inmate who is interested in receiving the introductory and studies.

Jose, AZ

Testimony for God's People

My Dear Family in Christ,

I receive many letters from inmates asking, “How do I keep the Sabbath in prison?”  Most have never been taught the reverence, sanctity or holiness of God and cannot fathom how to keep the Sabbath.  I love them dearly.  Their hearts are so willing to be obedient to Jesus.  How different from those who go to church.  Church members have grown up going to church instead of going to Jesus.  There is no desire to live the holiness of Jesus.  It is all about looking good for the church.  Therefore, it is a joy when I can share more fully the concept of “keeping the Sabbath holy”.  Enjoy the following article on keeping the Sabbath holy.

How Shall We keep the Sabbath?

God is merciful. His requirements are reasonable, in accordance with the goodness and benevolence of His character. The object of the Sabbath was that all mankind might be benefited. Man was not made to fit the Sabbath; for the Sabbath was made after the creation of man, to meet his necessities. After God had made the world in six days, He rested and sanctified and blessed the day upon which He rested from all His work which He had created and made. He set apart that special day for man to rest from his labor, that, as he should look upon the earth beneath and the heavens above, he might reflect that God made all these in six days and rested upon the seventh; and that, as he should behold the tangible proofs of God’s infinite wisdom, his heart might be filled with love and reverence for his Maker.

It is almost impossible to “look upon the earth beneath and the heavens above” while sitting in church.  Come to think about it, it is impossible to behold the tangible proofs of God’s infinite wisdom while sitting in church.  Church is an invention of the devil, brought to perfection by the Catholic church and copied by the Protestants and Messianic worshipers for the purpose of keeping your eyes and hearts firmly set on man, sin and this world.  Nothing about “church” has anything to do with eternal life.  Going to church is not a blessing to man.  It is very hard to “rest” while rushing to get to church in order to show off your “righteousness”.  Get out of church and go sit at the feet of Jesus.  Rest in His love.  Spend the Sabbath listening to Jesus from His Word and Nature.

In order to keep the Sabbath holy, it is not necessary that we enclose ourselves in walls, shut away from the beautiful scenes of nature and from the free, invigorating air of heaven. We should in no case allow burdens and business transactions to divert our minds upon the Sabbath of the Lord, which He has sanctified. We should not allow our minds to dwell upon things of a worldly character even. But the mind cannot be refreshed, enlivened, and elevated by being confined nearly all the Sabbath hours within walls, listening to long sermons and tedious, formal prayers. The Sabbath of the Lord is put to a wrong use if thus celebrated. The object for which it was instituted is not attained. The Sabbath was made for man, to be a blessing to him by calling his mind from secular labor to contemplate the goodness and glory of God. It is necessary that the people of God assemble to talk of Him, to interchange thoughts and ideas in regard to the truths contained in His word, and to devote a portion of time to appropriate prayer. But these seasons, even upon the Sabbath, should not be made tedious by their length and lack of interest.

It is obvious that our churches today are not of God.  They do not lift the mind of man to God, but to man and the works of man.  Man is glorified.  Man is honored.  Man is revered for his music, entertainment and genius.  But none of our churches are lifting the hearts and minds of man to contemplate the goodness and glory of God.  Get out of your church and go meet with God in a park, a meadow, a beach, a mountainside or some place where God can be seen in His nature.  You can “assemble” in any of those places to share the goodness and glory of God.  Notice, the necessity of meeting is not to listen to a minister babble on and on.  It is for each person in the “assembly” to “interchange thoughts and ideas in regard to the truths contained in His word, and to devote a portion of time to appropriate prayer.”  None of that is being done in churches today.  When was the last time you stood up in your church and interchanged your thoughts and ideas in regard to the truths contained in God’s Word?  It isn’t allowed.  If you go to church, you are being brainwashed, controlled and taken to hell.  Get out now!  Go to Jesus and open His Word and listen to Him.  You don’t need a church or denomination telling you what you need to hear.  Let Jesus do that.

During a portion of the day, all should have an opportunity to be out of doors. How can children receive a more correct knowledge of God, and their minds be better impressed, than in spending a portion of their time out of doors, not in play, but in company with their parents? Let their young minds be associated with God in the beautiful scenery of nature, let their attention be called to the tokens of His love to man in His created works, and they will be attracted and interested. They will not be in danger of associating the character of God with everything that is stern and severe; but as they view the beautiful things which He has created for the happiness of man, they will be led to regard Him as a tender, loving Father. They will see that His prohibitions and injunctions are not made merely to show His power and authority, but that He has the happiness of His children in view. As the character of God puts on the aspect of love, benevolence, beauty, and attraction, they are drawn to love Him. You can direct their minds to the lovely birds making the air musical with their happy songs, to the spires of grass, and the gloriously tinted flowers in their perfection perfuming the air. All these proclaim the love and skill of the heavenly Artist, and show forth the glory of God.

Take your children out of church and take them to Jesus in His nature.  Teach them how to “see” Jesus and His love in His created works.  Let the clean air of a park, beach, meadow or mountainside fill their lungs and cleans their bodies.  The artificially air of church is destroying their lives physically and spiritually.  They are looking to man in church instead of looking to Jesus.

Parents, why not make use of the precious lessons which God has given us in the book of nature, to give our children a correct idea of His character? Those who sacrifice simplicity to fashion, and shut themselves away from the beauties of nature, cannot be spiritually minded. They cannot understand the skill and power of God as revealed in His created works; therefore their hearts do not quicken and throb with new love and interest, and they are not filled with awe and reverence as they see God in nature.

In church, we are surrounded with incorrect ideas of God by looking at the frailties of man.  We see their defects of character, glory in their honor and genius and sit around talking about man, church or denomination.  None of that will draw us closer to Jesus.  It will only take our minds and reverence away from Jesus.

All who love God should do what they can to make the Sabbath a delight, holy and honorable. They cannot do this by seeking their own pleasure in sinful, forbidden amusements. Yet they can do much to exalt the Sabbath in their families and make it the most interesting day of the week. We should devote time to interesting our children. A change will have a happy influence upon them. We can walk out with them in the open air; we can sit with them in the groves and in the bright sunshine, and give their restless minds something to feed upon by conversing with them upon the works of God, and can inspire them with love and reverence by calling their attention to the beautiful objects in nature.

Oh no, we take our children to church where their attention is called to the “beautiful” objects of church and man.  Our children learn early to look at the clothes church members are wearing, gossip about what this one is doing, eating and wearing.  The minds of our children are totally on the world.  Get them out and take them to Jesus.

The Sabbath should be made so interesting to our families that its weekly return will be hailed with joy. In no better way can parents exalt and honor the Sabbath than by devising means to impart proper instruction to their families and interesting them in spiritual things, giving them correct views of the character of God and what He requires of us in order to perfect Christian characters and attain to eternal life. Parents, make the Sabbath a delight, that your children may look forward to it and have a welcome in their hearts for it. 2T 582-585

The children will not be taught how to obtain the “perfect Christian characters and attain to eternal life” in church or our educational institutions.  The churches don’t even believe in perfection of character.  They refuse to teach the teachings of Jesus to live the perfect, sinless and commandment keeping life.  It is nothing more than services, traditions, ceremonies, feast days, foods, clothes and rituals.  Get out of your church now or be forever lost.

These inmates are just the tip of the iceberg.  Your monthly tithes and offerings keep material flowing to inmates.  Thank you for your continued, monthly support.

After 15 years, the septic system needed to be replaced completely from toilet to end of leech line.  This set us back financially $8,300.  Financial help is needed.  Thank you and God bless you.
