Acts: The Scattering

My Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

The “church” has always been in opposition to God. It opposed the prophets of God who had been sent to the “church” since the days of Cain. The “church” was even in opposition to Moses most of the time. They finally were able to “break away” and set up a king in order to be like all the other nations around them.

The “church” fought against Elijah, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and the other Old Testament Prophets. There came a day when God could no longer tolerate “His Church” and destroyed it. Then He started over, sending more prophets and servants to His church such as Ezra, Haggai, Malachi, John the Baptist and Jesus. Fighting against and killing the prophets and servants of God was much easier than bowing before the messages and obeying them. Church was just to important to let go of. Even the early Christians found it very hard to give up the feast days, holidays, ceremonial observances and traditions of the church. They were willing to accept Jesus in place of the lamb, but church with its rituals, ceremonies, traditions and of course, friends, family and prestige; that was harder to break away from.

As long as being a Christian was easy, not a problem. “Believing” in Jesus was a whole lot easier than finding the right lamb, haggling with the moneychangers, buying it, taking it to the temple, working with the priest and slaughtering it. Christianity was easy, as long as they could mingle it with all their emotional baggage and habits that came with their church.

But after the killing of Stephen things changed. The church was not willing to “share” itself with those who actually believed in the teachings of Jesus by their obedience. The church put up with them for a while in hopes they would “come home” and give up their nonsensical belief in Jesus. But those who stood firm for the truth riled up the church and it could no longer tolerate them.

A great persecution broke out which precipitated in the scattering of the believers who were obedient to Jesus. Since the believers in Christ were not taking seriously the message that they had to separate and scatter themselves from their church and the “pagan” institution it had become, God allowed the church to motivate them. After all, “scattering” was the theme in many of the parables Jesus taught. But the new converts were not listening, yet.

Jesus commanded those who “believed” in Him to scatter, to be separatists (ekklēsia) from their church and go into all the world teaching people to live in obedience to all He commanded. But instead, they congregated around what was familiar and satisfying: the church. Oh, they did not participate in the sacrifices, but separating, leaving the services, rituals and traditions which they were used to, that was very hard to do. They wanted an “easy” and comfortable Christianity.

The same is true today. If you do not get out of your “pagan” church, even if that church is meeting on the 7th day Sabbath, you will be lost. If your church is involved with pagan services such as Christmas, Easter, Passover or any of the other “feast days”, you will be destroyed. Keep in mind, God did not invent “church”. It was invented by the devil to stand “in the place of” God. Even the Temple services were taken over by the devil. After all, wasn’t the temple one of the places the devil took Jesus during His 40 days of fasting? Why? Because it was now the devil’s temple and church. It had been turned into a pagan system totally against God. God no longer wants you involved in the church system since it is taking your eyes away from obedience to Jesus and planting them squarely on the church. The church system belongs to the devil.

The influence of the church system was beginning to destroy Christianity. God had to find a way to scatter the Christians in order to keep them pure and spread the truth to others. Therefore, God allowed the church to persecute the Christians in order to keep them looking to Jesus and separate. The death of Stephen accomplished the job.

“One interest prevailed. One object swallowed up all others. All hearts beat in harmony. The only ambition of the believers was to reveal the likeness of Christ’s character, and to labor for the enlargement of His kingdom.” COL 120.

Nothing there about building a new church organization. Nothing there about showcasing church leaders. Nothing there about developing leadership positions to satisfy the ego and pride of church members. No, the true church of God was made up of individual believers whose only ambition “was to reveal the likeness of Christ’s character, and to labor for the enlargement of His kingdom”. How sad that the ambition of our churches today is to exult themselves and enlarge their church memberships. All churches are Catholic. None are revealing the likeness of Christ’s character.

Acts 8:1 to Acts 8:39

And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.

Again, from here on out, the “church”, as used in the book of Acts by some translations, is not the pagan church of the Temple system, nor the system of church we understand today, but the true “Church of God”. Do not confuse it with a building or denomination as developed by the devil through the Catholic Church system and adopted by every church organization of today. Do not confuse it with rituals and services. The true “Church of God” is nothing what you imagine or see today. It was just people, individuals, who were being led by the Spirit of God to “come out” of the pagan church system in order to live and do the work of God. The term “church” meant “those who had come out”, (ekklēsia). You might say this was the original “coming out” party. They were individuals who came out of their church and “assembled” in Jesus. Think of the “church” in Acts as people who were “assembling” in homes and public spaces to share their love of Jesus and help each other to resist sin, live the perfect life and keep the Ten Commandments to get their eternal life. They “assembled” to share what God was doing in removing sin from their lives. They “assembled” to see how they could help each other to “scatter” the seed of Jesus to those around them. Their “assembling” had no denominational name, no man-made leader, no organization and no “doctrine”. Today we would call them a “flash mob”. “And let us continue to consider how to motivate one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, . . . For if we choose to go on sinning after we have learned the full truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins.” Hebrews 10:24-26. And that was the purpose of “assembling”. Their meeting together was to encourage each other in the character of Jesus. Their meeting together was to help each other to live as Jesus commanded: perfect, sinless and commandment keeping. “If anyone hears My words and does not keep them, . . . the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day.” John 12:47, 48.

And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.

We hold great funeral services and spend lavishly for our dead, but how few are caring about those whom God is sending to bring them out of their dead, sinful churches and back to obedience to Jesus. God hates the churches of today. They are filled with hypocrisy and heresy. If you do not get out, He will “spew you out of His mouth”. To be a “devout” Christian is not going to church. It is living the perfect, sinless and commandment keeping life.

As for Saul, he made havock of the ekklēsia, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.

Saul, an agent of the official, organized church, was making “havock” upon God’s true people who were assembling, “ekklēsia”, to live for Jesus. How true that is today. Church members hate those of us who do not give glory to their church. Those of us who give glory to Jesus by living as He commands: perfect, sinless and commandment keeping are despised by the official, organized churches of today. People assembling in Jesus threaten the official, organized churches and their affiliated organizations.

Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.

And keep in mind, they “were scattered abroad” not sitting in church. Where are you going? Where have you gone to preach the Word? Have you ever gone anywhere “preaching the Word”? And what “word” are you teaching? Is it “church” or “Jesus”? If you are talking about a church, denomination or bringing people to a popular speaker, you are not of God. If you are preaching the Word of God and bringing people to Jesus, you are of God. 2 John 1:8-11.

Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.

The Bible is our example. In it we find how we are to live. Philip preached Christ. Are you preaching Christ to people? Or are you preaching church and denominationalism? Let us get out of our churches as Philip did and preach Christ to those around us. If you are equating “church” with “Jesus” that makes your church “antichrist”. You are taking people to church instead of to Jesus. Your church has taken “the place of” Jesus. (Remember, in the Greek, “anti” means “in place of”.)

And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.  And there was great joy in that city.

Cities today do not have much joy. We need to bring them joy. Joy can only be found in Jesus. The world and the churches are attempting to substitute the things of this world for the joy of knowing Jesus, but it won’t last. Games, music, videos, TV, phones, churches, clubs, beliefs and thousands of other things are presented for our “joy”. But only knowing Jesus can bring you lasting joy. That is why the churches of today are called, “antichrist” in the Bible. They stand “in the place of” the joy Jesus wants to give you.

Can people see miracles in your life? Are they able to see any difference in you from those around you? Going to church, even on the Sabbath, does not make you “different” from those who go to church on Sunday. Your life has not been changed. Most Sunday churchgoers have far more “Christianity” in them than those who go to church on Sabbath and claim to be God’s “remnant” or His “special people”. But none of that will get you into Heaven. Trying to “out-church” each other is not what Jesus has asked of you. He has asked only one thing of you: stop sinning, be perfect and keep the Ten Commandments to get your eternal life. That can only be done outside of your church today. That is the only way to distinguish yourself as a follower of Jesus.

But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one: To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God. And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.

Simon, in his day, was what ministers, evangelists and churches are today. He was simply bewitching the people and using the sorceries of his day to do what modern churches, ministers, pastors and denominations are doing with our modern technology. For a long time now you have all been bewitched with their sorceries. It is time to come out and go to Jesus who will give you true love, peace and joy.

But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

Oh yes, Philip did not preach church or denominationalism. He was not leading people to an organization headed by men in Jerusalem. He simply taught them about the kingdom of God and Jesus Christ. Will you do the same? Will you stop talking about your church, your pastor and denomination and lift up Jesus in your life?

Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

There are very few ministers and pastors today who are willing to give up their churches, denominations and positions for the kingdom of God and Jesus Christ. Most prefer their bewitching sorceries and the power they hold over their church members. Most just do it for the money. Religion is the greatest “Ponzi scheme” ever devised.

Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:

For church members today, it is hard to read the Bible without thinking in terms of “our” church system. But if you will take the time to let the Spirit of God direct you, you will notice the people didn’t telephone the men in Jerusalem and request an evangelist. It is too easy to “read into” what we read with church-colored glasses over our eyes. They were not “called” to go down. The disciples in Jerusalem were not a “church”. They simply heard of what was happening in Samaria and sent Peter and John. Why Peter and John? Maybe they were the only disciples who had lived with Jesus and could tell the story better than any of the others who were available. They heard that the Samaritans had received the “Word of God”. The Samaritans did not receive a church doctrine of any denomination, only the “Word of God”. And what was the “Word of God” they heard? They heard what Jesus had taught them: to stop sinning, be perfect and to keep the Ten Commandments to get their eternal life. Remember, Jesus spent time sitting at Jacob’s well in Samaria talking to a lady. Then the town’s people invited Him to spend a few days teaching them. Now they wanted to hear more of the “Word of God”. Notice that Jesus, Peter and John did not teach them how to become church members. They were not sent to baptize them into a denomination. Only the “Word of God” was preached. That is all Jesus taught. “On one occasion, . . . the crowd was pressing in on Him to hear the Word of God. ” Luke 5:1.

Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:

How simple. They came down and prayed that “they might receive the Holy Ghost”. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if our churches today prayed for the Holy Ghost in sincerity. Churches today only pray for the “Holy Ghost” as long as it agrees with their agenda. Now you understand why the churches today are void of the Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit doesn’t work for any church or denomination. It works for the Kingdom of God.

(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)

There is a lot of baptizing in the name of the “Lord Jesus” going on in churches and denominations. But obviously, that is not enough. To be a true Christian we must receive the Holy Ghost into our lives in order to live the sinless, perfect and commandment keeping life. That is how we know who has the Spirit of God and who does not.

Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

The Samaritans were not asked to sign a contract or believe in any church or denomination. The disciples put “their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.”
And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.

That is a slap in the pocketbooks of churches and denominations who are selling degrees to students so they can receive appointments to churches and denominations. Today it is all about money, ego, pride, prestige and titles. However, the churches and denominations do not know God. They are devoid of the Spirit of God. And as one can see, being baptized did not make a “saint” out of Simon. Baptism is only a “metaphor”, a symbol. It does not save anyone. Peter would say the same today to ministers and baptized church members as he said back then to Simon who had been baptized.

But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.  Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.

The hearts of those going to divinity schools, church schools, universities, denominational ministerial schools and churches are not right in the sight of God. Unless they repent, get out and go to Jesus, receiving from Him the Spirit of God, they have no eternal life. However, a degree from man is far more enticing, isn’t it? We love the show!

When I went to Pacific Union College in 1970 to become a minister, the Spirit of God came to me then and told me to forget about my studies and concentrate on the “Conflict of the Ages” series. What they were teaching at Pacific Union College was not from God. I have read the “Conflict of the Ages” series at least 30 times. Some of the individual books within that series I have read over 50 times. Yet, there were no “feet that bring good tidings” to help me understand what I was reading. What I was reading was being understood through church-colored glasses. God had to send me to prison in order to sit at the feet of Jesus who brought those tidings to me by His Spirit. Prior to prison, I was a very good church sitter. After my release from prison in 1997, the Spirit of God was sent to me to dictate and direct the book, “Change Your Life Biblically”.

Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee. For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.

That sums it up for our churches today. They are full of the gall of bitterness and bound in iniquity. If they do not repent and return to God with all their hearts and souls, they will be lost eternally.

Then answered Simon, and said, Pray ye to the Lord for me, that none of these things which ye have spoken come upon me.

But few are willing to humble themselves and admit that they are full of gall and iniquity. After all, they have church. They are elders, deacons, board members and people of office in the church. How could God not “love” them? Like the Jews of Christ’s day, church is everything and anyone who disturbs their church cannot be of God.

But Simon was willing to repent. Are you? Few do. Your church doesn’t even tell you your sins. How can you repent from sins your church refuses to point out. All your church wants from you is your obedience and your money.

And they, when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans.

Notice, they did not go on “church planting” missions. They did not go on “church building” missions. All they did was go and preach the gospel. That gospel had nothing to do with joining a church or denomination. It had nothing to do with church doctrine. The gospel they taught was the gospel Jesus taught. And what did Jesus teach? “Then Jesus began traveling throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom. Matthew 9:35. That “gospel” was: stop sinning (John 5:14), be perfect (Matthew 5:48) and keep the Ten Commandments to get your eternal life (Matthew 19:17).  If your church is not teaching you the “gospel” as taught by Jesus, it is of the devil.

Now an angel of the Lord told Philip, “Get up and go south on the road that leads from Jerusalem to Gaza. This is a deserted road.”

The Christians did not seek approval from Jerusalem for their missionary trips or activities. They did not go before church committees seeking authorization. They separated from their church, doing what Jesus commanded them to do: go into all the world and teach them to obey everything I have command you. Matthew 28:20. Therefore, they went in obedience to the command of Jesus. They were willing to rise up, leave all and go were the Spirit of God called. Are you doing that? Are you living such a pure, sinless life that an angel of the Lord would be able to direct you?

We, today, have turned the whole “church” concept on its head. Back then, the “church” supported the people in their work for God. Today, the people are told to support the church leaders in their paganistic and ritualistic activities. Back then the “church” was made up of people who were directed by angels and the Spirit of God. Today the church system will not authorize or acknowledge anyone who is directed by an angel or the Spirit of God. It is all about church leaders, church boards, church authorization, church education and church praise.

So he got up and went.

When will church members get up and go? When will church members bow before the Spirit of God and live in obedience to Him? Philip did not go to the church to ask permission to do what the angel or the Spirit of God told him. Are you waiting on the church? It is time for you to get out of your church, kneel before the Lord and surrender your life to Jesus. Then wait on the Lord as you live in perfect obedience to His Law. God will tell you what to do and where to go.

Now there was an Ethiopian eunuch, who was a member of the court of Candace, queen of the Ethiopians. He was in charge of all her treasures and had come up to Jerusalem to worship. Now he was returning home, seated in his chariot, and reading from the prophet Isaiah.  The Spirit told Philip, “Approach that chariot and stay near it.”

When was the last time the Spirit told you to do anything? When was the last time you were living in such a state that the Spirit of God could tell you what to do? If you are going to church, the Spirit of God cannot communicate with you. You are under the control of the devil through his church agencies. You must come out in order to hear the Spirit of God speaking to you.

So Philip ran up to it and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah out loud. Philip asked, “Do you understand what you’re reading?”

Do you understand what you are reading? Oh, sorry, you don’t read anything that isn’t “church approved”. You let the church interpret the Bible for you. Reading the adulterated Sabbath School Lesson is easier than reading the Bible with the Spirit of God. Sorry, I don’t want to disturb your “peace”. Go back to sleep in your church.

It was a good thing the Eunuch was honest and willing to learn. He did not let the Jerusalem church do his interpreting. He was probably praying for guidance and recognized the moving of the Spirit of God in bringing Philip. Very few are willing to recognize the moving of the Spirit of God. Why? Because, if it isn’t church sanctioned, they do not believe it is of God. How Catholic.

The man replied, “How can I unless someone guides me?” So he invited Philip to get in and sit with him.

I wonder if the Eunuch asked to see Philip’s ministerial license? I wonder if he asked him by what authority he was teaching? Unless church members have the same humble attitude and are willing to listen and read from other sources than their church’s authorized literature, they will never learn. God is not in the “church”. He is outside of it knocking to be let in. But the church doesn’t want Jesus. He might ask them to stop sinning. To learn what the Spirit of God is saying to the churches now, go to www.jcpm.com and read the Bible studies and watch the videos.

This was the passage of Scripture he was reading: “Like a sheep he was led away to be slaughtered, and like a lamb is silent before its shearer, so he does not open his mouth. In his humiliation, justice was denied him. Who can describe his descendants? For his life is taken away from the earth.” The eunuch asked Philip, “I ask you, who is the prophet talking about? Himself? Or someone else?” Then Philip began to speak, and, starting from this Scripture, he told him the good news about Jesus.

“He told him the good news about Jesus.” He didn’t tell him about a church or denomination. He didn’t tell him he had to join any special church or denomination. He didn’t tell the Eunuch that he would send authorized, ordained ministers to Ethiopia to set up a church. He just told him the good news about Jesus. He told Him how to live for Jesus. How to look into the Scriptures to find the life of Jesus. The rest was up to the Ethiopian and the Spirit of God. No church or denomination to get in the way of his salvation!

Here is a question for you. Do your know your Bible so well that you could take anyone from where they were reading in the Bible to Jesus? Or do you send them to church and your pastor? Could you teach them about Jesus from any place they were reading in the Bible? It is time to get out of your church, go to Jesus and do your own reading and studying. Let the Spirit of God come into your life and teach you. You will not make it through the close of probation and into Heaven unless you know your Bible and can teach from it.

As they were going along the road, they came to some water. The eunuch said, “Look, there’s some water. What keeps me from being baptized?”

Nothing fancy here. No big publicity stunt. No media to preform in front of. They didn’t gather a crowed to watch. Just a little water to preform a symbolizing act that the Eunuch would surrender his life to Jesus and live for Him. No church or denomination to get involved.

So he ordered the chariot to stop, and Philip and the eunuch both went down into the water, and Philip baptized him.

I don’t think Philip was authorized or commissioned by the “church” to baptize. I don’t think he had any credentials from any organization. He was authorized by God and that is all that counts. Come to think about it, not one prophet in the Bible was “authorized” by the church organization. Oh, yes, they did authorize them to be killed. Get out of your church now before it is too late.

This ministry was called by God, and authorized by Him to preach the gospel and prepare people for the Kingdom of God. Will you listen? Will you turn from your wicked, church-going ways and return to Jesus?

When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away. The eunuch went on his way rejoicing and did not see Philip again. But Philip found himself at Azotus. As he was passing through that region, he kept proclaiming the good news in all the towns until he came to Caesarea.

Are you proclaiming the good news in all the homes and towns around you? What are you doing for Jesus? Going to church is doing nothing for Jesus. All Philip did was proclaim the good news that they could stop sinning, be perfect and keep the Ten Commandments to get their eternal life. He did not point them to any church, religion or denomination. No feast days, holidays, rituals, traditions, pagan or temple sacrifices were needed to win the favor of God. Jesus loves us so much He became the sacrifice. Will you get up, get out and get proclaiming the good news to all around you?

Prison Mission Report

Hi,
Thank you for this insight! I always thought “once saved always saved”. I see now that I was wrong. This study has shown me where to look in my Bible and I see in Ezekiel 18 where it says plainly that if a righteous person turns from his righteousness and does the same abominations as a wicked person, he is guilty of the sin he committed and will die. Wow - truth! Also, I thought that Jesus did away with the Ten Commandments. I see where I was taught wrong, that too. I cannot live in sin and be saved by grace alone. I have my part to keep. I must keep His Commandments, stop sinning and live in obedience to His teachings. Thank you again for showing me this truth. I look forward to more answers and truth. May God bless you and this ministry.
Jason, KS

Brother Ron,
Thank you for the words of encouragement. As I said, I wish I would have had CYLB decades ago before I changed. So much of what I “knew” and argued when younger is there in those pages. But it was “beaten” out of me. I am trying, brother Ron. I think CYLB and the work you are doing is fabulous. I pray it reaches those who are looking for the truth.
James, WI (His heart has been so touched, he sends his tithes to the ministry)

Dear Brother Ron,
I greatly appreciate your return letter. I want to thank you for taking the time to read and respond. Please, brother, do not be disappointed. I must study, learn and grow from the work the Lord has given you to teach. This study is so remarkable that just by fellowshipping with you and the ministry as well as my own obedience and work I will become closer to the Lord Jesus. Our walk to Heaven will be strengthened. Your sharing this teaching with me has strengthened my core beliefs of the Gospel. For too long have I been led astray and brainwashed by worldly teachings. What you are teaching is the belief that was in my heart and I allowed myself to be confused instead of knowing that the Spirit was guiding my heart to begin with. Brother Ron, I will continue to keep in contact with the ministry.
Jon, CO (Jon’s heart was also touched and sends his tithes to the ministry)

Hello Brother,
It has been a little while since our last communication and much has changed. I graduated an intense six month program and moved back into the general population. It was a culture shock. I had been separated from them for six months and now I was cast in the midst of everything. However, I remained obedient and went forth with my testimony and the Word of God. God showed me His favor by providing a job at the furniture plant seven days after I graduated the program. I feel we are all running out of time. There is so much work to be done and so little help. Sometimes it feels daunting. I truly care for these people. But it feels like only a miracle may open their eyes to the truth.
Touncie, KY

Hi Brother Ron,
I read one of your pamphlets here in prison. As I was reading the book about how God is using you in many different ways, your testimony helped me a lot. How the right hand of the Almighty God is with you and the relationship you have with Him. I want some of the blessings in my life too. I don’t want to miss any pamphlets or books you have been guided by the Holy Spirit of God to write. I want them all. I know these books are going to help me build my relationship with God. Thank you Brother Ron and God bless you.
Gilberto, CA

Hello,
I was told about your ministry through a friend of mine. I would like to receive a Bible and would like to start your Bible study program. I also would love to receive pen-pals so I can communicate with more Christians.
Anthony, WA

JCPM,
I am a detainee in ICE. My brothers and I are writing to you in hopes that we get blessed with your book, “Change Your Life Biblically”. We are seeking the Word of our Lord and we thought it would be a blessing to learn from your book.
Juan, CA

JCPM,
I am detained in jail. I came across a book by the name of “Change Your Life Biblically”. The owner of the book told me I could obtain this book through the Jesus Christ Prison Ministry. I would very much appreciate a copy of this book as I am beginning a spiritual journey. This book seems like it contains knowledge that could help me in this path.
Walter, CA

To Whom It May Concern,
I was given the opportunity by another inmate to look over your literature. I was very intrigued. The Jesus Christ Prison Ministry Introductory Issue was great. Can you please send me the “Change Your Life Biblically” book?
Autum, CA

Dearest Brothers and Sisters,
I came across your workbook, “Change Your Life Biblically”. I am a new believer and would greatly appreciate a free copy to help me understand and strengthen my walk with Jesus. I have seven years to serve and want to learn how to change my life.
Jason, KS

Dear Brother Ron,
I was sentenced to 3 years in prison. It has been so hard and painful being away from my children and my family. But I thank the Lord for rescuing me from the path of destruction I was on. I believe God blessed me with this time away from the worldly distractions in order for me to have a second chance at the abundant life. Every time I am blessed with money on my books from my family, I like to tithe 10% to a ministry that the Lord puts on my heart. After reading your story through Rebel’s eyes, I felt prompted to give to your ministry.
Cheryl, AZ

To Whom It May Concern,
I just recently received my “Change Your Life Biblically” book. I love it! Thank you. My girlfriend is skeptical about turning her life over to the Lord. Please send a copy of the “Change Your Life Biblically” book to her.
James, ID

Hi,
I want your help on helping me grow to get to know God and His Son Jesus Christ. I’ve been so lost and confused. I’ve already tried to kill myself like 15 times. But that is not what I want. I want to grow old and when I die, I want to be in the Kingdom of God. Please send me Bible studies to get to know God more. I am tired of living the same old life.
Luis, CA

Hello,
I am writing because a guy here has been reading sections of a book that is peeking my interest. The name of the book is called, “Change Your Life Biblically”. I read my Bible often, but sometimes, I need a deeper insight than what I myself can probe. So, if you could, would you mind sending a copy to me?
Steve, AR

Hi,
I am a new convert to Christianity. I want to join the Bible study program.
Ahmed, MN

Hello,
As of 2017 I have become a devout Christian and I have decided to devote my life to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have come to realize that my purpose in life is to serve Him in all that I do. As part of my journey, I’d like to get to know God and become closer to Him. I have decided to walk with the Lord. I would like your assistance in helping me in my faith. I want to learn and grow strong in God. I was referred to you by a dear friend and Christian of mine.

Dearest Brother,
I always believed I understood “grace”. But as I read your book, I saw that I had a total misconception of what grace was. I was completely jaded in my opinion of grace. I literally believed grace was a license to do whatever I felt like doing. After all, I read Paul’s epistle and grace seemed like it forgave me for everything I chose to do. For example, I chose to commit crimes. I chose to become a social pariah. However, I always believed God made me the way He did and His grace forgave it all just because Jesus died. However, now I have learned a new definition of grace and the plan of salvation. It helps me not to abuse this temporary favor that keeps me alive in order to accomplish the plan of salvation. I have always had a jaded perception of the Ten Commandments. I felt I could never complete the 10 Commandments. This included keeping the Sabbath. Now I have made keeping the 10 Commandments as priority including keeping Sabbaths holy. I know with Jesus all things are possible. Now that I have read your book, it has given me a lot of enlightenment of everything I once thought I understood but obviously never did.

Hello,
I received this “Change Your Life Biblically” from my boyfriend who is currently incarcerated. He is currently studying this book and has shared some of it’s highlights. He is so excited to be reading this book that he has given me the address to write this note in regards to me. So I’m interested in receiving this book.

Dear JCPM,
I came across your book, “Change Your Life Biblically”. I would like to have a copy of my own. I really enjoy the way it studies the Word. It’s deep.

Dear JCPM,
I am on a spiritual journey. I was walking by one of my fellow inmate’s cubicle and yes, I was being nosy. I saw this book on her bed called, “Change Your Life Biblically”. I asked her if I could check it out and she let me. So now I am very interested in what the pages have to say. Will you please add me to your list and send me a copy, please? I am really and truly looking forward to receiving this book.

Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,
I am sending this in hopes of receiving any literature and Bible studies to further my spiritual growth and relationship with God.

Dear JCPM,
A fellow inmate told me about your ministry and explained to me how your ministry helps those who are in need. I would like any information that your ministry can provide to me.

Dear Ron,
“2nd Peter’s 8 Steps” have taught me a way of salvation. A lot of things in life are easier said than done. However, these lessons helped me focus on the work and teachings of Jesus Christ our Lord. His many examples and sacrifices, what it really takes and how he went about in living a sin free life. How very possible that is for me. The difficulties I have in my life are my own doing. If I want eternal life, I must let go of the things of this world and do the works of our Father’s will. I should steer clear of anything or anybody that goes against the teachings of Jesus. What I learned from this lesson is that there is life in Jesus and that if I study and practice to perfect the life that He lived, I too can have life, love and happiness in Christ. Only Jesus can grant me the power to live a sinless life. I’ve learned that words mean nothing but actions through Jesus Christ are very lasting. This study has taught me a lot. Most important, my purpose and my right to the truth. How I am to go about fulfilling my life from this point on in the most righteous manner. I would like to thank you for this message, Ron. Upon coming to prison I picked up the Bible and read it. But I never studied it as I intend to now.

Testimony for God's People

My Dear Family in Christ,

God is striving with His people today. They are not listening to His instructions. They have turned their ears and eyes away from Jesus and placed them firmly upon a church system that is now in rebellion against God. It has become a Catholic system with no desire to serve and please God. The church system today is “antichrist” since it is taking “the place of” Jesus in the world and in the heart. God sent His prophet to the church in order to wake the people up. Will you listen? Will you take heed?

An Appeal to the Church

October 2, 1868, I was shown the state of God’s professed people. Many of them were in great darkness, yet seemed to be insensible of their true condition. The sensibilities of a large number seemed to be benumbed in regard to spiritual and eternal things, while their minds seemed all awake to their worldly interests. Many were cherishing idols in their hearts and were practicing iniquity which separated them from God and caused them to be bodies of darkness. I saw but few who stood in the light, having discernment and spirituality to discover these stumbling blocks and remove them out of the way. Men who stand in very responsible positions at the heart of the work are asleep. Satan has paralyzed them in order that his plans and devices may not be discerned, while he is active to ensnare, deceive, and destroy.

We are now 150 years from this “Appeal to the Church”. Back then, “many of them were in great darkness.” Today, from the President of the General Conference right on down to the deacons in the church, all have fallen asleep and are paralyzed under Satan’s devices. It is nothing but “church” and the system. They refuse to humble themselves before God and live in strict obedience to His Word. Political Correctness has flooded into the church. Wanting to be like other churches has so watered down the message of God, it cannot be distinguished as different from any other church or denomination. Sabbath churches are entering into unholy alliances with pagan churches to participate in their pagan Christmas and Easter pageants. The church leaders are no longer warning the people of the danger in entering such pagan alliances. No, they are the ones leading the people into sin. Since Jesus is no longer the focus, the churches are splintering and breaking apart, as the nation of Israel did.

Some who occupy the position of watchmen to warn the people of danger have given up their watch and recline at ease. They are unfaithful sentinels. They remain inactive, while their wily foe enters the fort and works successfully by their side to tear down what God has commanded to be built up. They see that Satan is deceiving the inexperienced and unsuspecting; yet they take it all quietly, as though they had no special interest, as though these things did not concern them. They apprehend no special danger; they see no cause to raise an alarm. To them everything seems to be going well, and they see no necessity of raising the faithful, trumpet notes of warning which they hear borne by the plain testimonies, to show the people their transgressions and the house of Israel their sins. These reproofs and warnings disturb the quiet of these sleepy, ease-loving sentinels, and they are not pleased. They say in heart, if not in words: “This is all uncalled for. It is too severe, too harsh. These men are unnecessarily disturbed and excited, and seem unwilling to give us any rest or quietude ‘Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them.’ They are not willing that we should have any comfort, peace, or happiness. It is active labor, toil, and unceasing vigilance alone which will satisfy these unreasonable, hard-to-be-suited watchmen. Why don’t they prophesy smooth things, and cry: Peace, peace? Then everything would move on smoothly.”

Oh, these leaders say, we must “evangelize” our follow Christian churches. We must show them we are just like them. We must participate in their wicked pagan activities in order to prove to them we are just like them. They do not “show the people their transgressions and the house of Israel their sins.” No, they teach them “saved by grace”.

These are the true feelings of many of our people. And Satan exults at his success in controlling the minds of so many who profess to be Christians. He has deceived them, benumbed their sensibilities, and planted his hellish banner right in their midst, and they are so completely deceived that they know not that it is he. The people have not erected graven images, yet their sin is no less in the sight of God. They worship mammon. They love worldly gain. Some will make any sacrifice of conscience to obtain their object. God’s professed people are selfish and self-caring. They love the things of this world, and have fellowship with the works of darkness. They have pleasure in unrighteousness. They have not love toward God nor love for their neighbors. They are idolaters, and are worse, far worse, in the sight of God than the heathen, graven-image worshipers who have no knowledge of a better way.

Church members sit in church not realizing that they are “completely deceived” by the devil’s church system. They refuse to study for themselves. It is all about, “What my church says”. They refuse to take their salvation into their own hands and learn for themselves. Church members want their church to tell them what to believe because they are to lazy to get up, get out and separate themselves from the unclean church system.

Christ’s followers are required to come out from the world, and be separate, and touch not the unclean, and they have the promise of being the sons and daughters of the Most High, members of the royal family. But if the conditions are not complied with on their part, they will not, cannot, realize the fulfillment of the promise. A profession of Christianity is nothing in the sight of God; but true, humble, willing obedience to His requirements designates the children of His adoption, the recipients of His grace, the partakers of His great salvation. Such will be peculiar, a spectacle unto the world, to angels, and to men. Their peculiar, holy character will be discernible, and will distinctly separate them from the world, from its affections and lust.

Since your church is no different from the pagan churches around you, except for the day on which it goes to church, you “are required to come out from the world, and be separate, and touch not the unclean.” You must come out of your church. If there is sin in your church, either you must stand up and pronounce it until it is cleaned out, or you must separate yourself, “from its affections and lust.”

I saw that but few among us answer to this description. Their love to God is in word, not in deed and in truth. Their course of action, their works, testify of them that they are not children of the light but of darkness. Their works have not been wrought in God, but in selfishness, in unrighteousness. Their hearts are strangers to His renewing grace. They have not experienced the transforming power which leads them to walk even as Christ walked. Those who are living branches of the heavenly Vine will partake of the sap and nourishment of the Vine. They will not be withered and fruitless branches, but will show life and vigor, and will flourish and bear fruit to the glory of God. They will be careful to depart from all iniquity and to perfect holiness in the fear of God.

Is your church teaching you to “be careful to depart from all iniquity and to perfect holiness in the fear of God?” Of course not. It doesn’t even believe in living the perfect, sinless and commandment keeping life of Jesus in the fear of God. Get out of your church now!

Like ancient Israel the church has dishonored her God by departing from the light, neglecting her duties, and abusing her high and exalted privilege of being peculiar and holy in character. Her members have violated their covenant to live for God and Him only. They have joined with the selfish and world-loving. Pride, the love of pleasure, and sin have been cherished, and Christ has departed. His Spirit has been quenched in the church. Satan works side by side with professed Christians; yet they are so destitute of spiritual discernment that they do not detect him. They have not the burden of the work. The solemn truths they profess to believe are not a reality to them. They have not genuine faith. Men and women will act out all the faith which they in reality possess. By their fruits ye shall know them. Not their profession, but the fruit they bear, shows the character of the tree. Many have a form of godliness, their names are upon the church records; but they have a spotted record in heaven. The recording angel has faithfully written their deeds. Every selfish act, every wrong word, every unfulfilled duty, and every secret sin, with every artful dissembling, is faithfully chronicled in the book of records kept by the recording angel.

How many who go to church on the Sabbath are joining with the pagan churches in Sunday services, Christmas and Easter pageants, etc! No, “the church has dishonored her God by departing from the light, neglecting her duties, and abusing her high and exalted privilege of being peculiar and holy in character."

Very many who profess to be servants of Christ are none of His. They are deceiving their souls to their own destruction. While they profess to be servants of Christ, they are not living in obedience to His will. “Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?” Many, while professing to be servants of Christ, are obeying another master, working daily against the Master whom they profess to serve. “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”

Those who work against this ministry are working against Jesus. Jesus called this ministry, dictated and directed the book, “Change Your Life Biblically”, yet how few care to read it and obey it. They may belong to a church or profess to be His servants, but if they are not living “in obedience to His will” they are of the devil and “none of His”. Going to church is not living “in obedience to His will”. Churches today have all fallen under the control of Lucifer. They are all Catholic. Get out!

Earthly and selfish interests engage the soul, mind, and strength of God’s professed followers. To all intents and purposes they are servants of mammon. They have not experienced a crucifixion to the world, with its affections and lusts. But few among the many who profess to be Christ’s followers can say in the language of the apostle: “God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.” “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.” If willing obedience and true love characterize the lives of the people of God, their light will shine with a holy brightness to the world.

How can they “shine with a holy brightness to the world” when they are not living the holy, perfect, sinless commandment keeping life? No, they glory in their church, their pastor, their church school, their church evangelist, healthcare system and media propaganda. But they do not glory in the cross of Christ in their lives. They avoid the cross like the plague. It may hang in their churches, but it has no place in their hearts and lives.

The words which Christ addressed to His disciples were designed for all who should believe on His name: “Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savor, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden underfoot of men.” A profession of godliness without the living principle is as utterly valueless as salt without its saving properties. An unprincipled professed Christian is a byword, a reproach to Christ, a dishonor to His name. “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

If you are sitting in church, you are a byword and a disgrace to Jesus Christ. He did not command you to hide your light sitting under the roof of your church. He did not command you to start a church. Get out from under your church-bushel and live as He commanded you to live: the perfect, sinless and Commandment keeping life.

The good works of God’s people have a more powerful influence than words. By their virtuous life and unselfish acts the beholder is led to desire the same righteousness which produced so good fruit. He is charmed with that power from God which transforms selfish human beings into the divine image, and God is honored, His name glorified. But the Lord is dishonored and His cause reproached by His people’s being in bondage to the world. They are in friendship with the world, the enemies of God. Their only hope of salvation is to separate from the world and zealously maintain their separate, holy, and peculiar character. Oh! why will not God’s people comply with the conditions laid down in His word? If they would do this they would not fail to realize the excellent blessings freely given of God to the humble and obedient.

Notice, the prophet did not say we were to go to church to show our Christianity. “Going to church” is not complying with the “conditions laid down in His word”. Jesus never asked us to go to church. If you go to church, you have become bound by that church and no longer are bound to Jesus. Your church, which has become no different than the world, has you enslaved in sin. It doesn’t matter how acceptable the sin is to your church, it is still sin and you will be burned up if you do not get out and go to Jesus. It is not “going to church” Jesus wants. Members of God’s church will be known “By their virtuous life and unselfish acts”.

I was amazed as I beheld the terrible darkness of many of the members of our churches. The lack of true godliness was such that they were bodies of darkness and death, instead of being the light of the world. Many professed to love God, but in works denied Him. They did not love, serve, nor obey Him. Their own selfish interests were primary. With a large number there seemed to be an alarming lack of principle. They were swayed by unconsecrated influence and seemed to have no root in themselves. I inquired what these things meant. Why was there such a destitution of spirituality, so few who had a living experience in religious things? I was referred to the words of the prophet: “Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumbling block of their iniquity before their face: should I be inquired of at all by them? Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I the Lord will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols; that I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all estranged from Me through their idols.”

Church has become their idol and their stumbling block. Church members love their idols. They hate Jesus. Oh, they profess to love Jesus, but they do nothing that Jesus commands in order to show their professed love. They love their churches. Their churches let them sin and live as they please. If not, they simply find a more accommodating church. After all, isn’t it all about “just go to church”? How Catholic. How “antichrist”. The churches of today are “bodies of darkness and death, instead of being the light of the world.” Get up, get out and go to Jesus and submit to Him. Live in obedience to His commands: be perfect, stop sinning and keep the Ten Commandments to get your eternal life.

The people of God were represented to me as in a backslidden state. They have not an eye single to the glory of God. Their own glory is prominent. They seek to glorify themselves and yet call themselves Christians. Holiness of heart and purity of life was the great subject of the teachings of Christ. In His Sermon on the Mount, after specifying what must be done in order to be blessed, and what must not be done, He says: “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”

No, let us not teach the teachings of Jesus, let us teach the teachings of man, “Saved by Grace”, the “Unconditional Love of God”, “go to church” and other Catholic doctrines. Let us go to church to hear man’s wisdom, but let us not teach the wisdom of Jesus in our churches. And how perfect did Jesus say we are to be? Oh, as perfect “as your Father which is in heaven”. If your church isn’t teaching you that, get out now before it is too late.

Perfection, holiness, nothing short of this, would give them success in carrying out the principles He had given them. Without this holiness the human heart is selfish, sinful, and vicious. Holiness will lead its possessor to be fruitful and abound in all good works. He will never become weary in well-doing, neither will he look for promotion in this world. He will look forward for promotion to the time when the Majesty of heaven shall exalt the sanctified ones to His throne. Then shall He say unto them: “Come, ye blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.” The Lord then enumerates the works of self-denial and mercy, compassion and righteousness, which they had wrought. Holiness of heart will produce right actions. It is the absence of spirituality, of holiness, which leads to unrighteous acts, to envy, hatred, jealousy, evil surmisings, and every hateful and abominable sin.

“It is the absence of spirituality, of holiness, which leads to unrighteous acts, to envy, hatred, jealousy, evil surmisings, and every hateful and abominable sin” in our churches today. God is not in the churches of today. Talk about “jealousy” and “hatred”. Just tell them God hates their church and watch the jealousy and hate come out of them. How many have stopped supporting this ministry because they love their sinful churches and opinions. Their unrighteous acts, envy, hatred, jealousy, evil surmisings and church positions are more important than accepting the message God is giving through this ministry.

I have tried in the fear of God to set before His people their danger and their sins, and have endeavored, to the best of my feeble powers, to arouse them. I have stated startling things, which, if they had believed, would have caused them distress and terror, and led them to zeal in repenting of their sins and iniquities. I have stated before them that, from what was shown me, but a small number of those now professing to believe the truth would eventually be saved—not because they could not be saved, but because they would not be saved in God’s own appointed way. The way marked out by our divine Lord is too narrow and the gate too strait to admit them while grasping the world or while cherishing selfishness or sin of any kind. There is no room for these things; and yet there are but few who will consent to part with them, that they may pass the narrow way and enter the strait gate.

That is it in a nutshell. 150 years ago God “set before His people their danger and their sins” and they refused to repent. Today, 150 years later, the whole church and denomination has become “antichrist”. God raised up this little ministry to again “set before His people their danger and their sins” but they will not listen. This is the last message to be given before probation closes. But they have given their salvation to their churches, their pride and ego and refuse to listen to Jesus.

The words of Christ are plain: “Strive [agonize] to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.” Not all professed Christians are Christians at heart. There are sinners in Zion now, as there were anciently. Isaiah speaks of them in referring to the day of God: “The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly, he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil; he shall dwell on high: his place of defense shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.”
There are hypocrites now who will tremble when they obtain a view of themselves. Their own vileness will terrify them in that day which is soon to come upon us, a day when “the Lord cometh out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity.” Oh, that terror might now lay hold upon them, that they might have a vivid sense of their condition and arouse while there is mercy and hope, confess their sins, and humble their souls greatly before God, that He might pardon their transgressions and heal their backslidings! The people of God are unready for the fearful, trying scenes before us, unready to stand pure from evil and lust amid the perils and corruptions of this degenerate age. They have not on the armor of righteousness, and are unprepared to war against the prevailing iniquity. Many are not obeying the commandments of God, yet they profess so to do. If they would be faithful to obey all the statutes of God they would have a power which would carry conviction to the hearts of the unbelieving.

God has left the churches. Even those churches that go to church on the 7th day Sabbath. They do not “carry conviction to the hearts of the unbelieving”. Why? Because they are not living the sinless, perfect and commandment keeping life Jesus commands them to live. It is much easier to go to church than change the life. Get out of your church, open your home and invite those who want to live for Jesus. Begin “assembling” for Jesus and not for church. Throw the church system out of your life and begin “assembling” in the system Jesus set up: obedience to His Ten Commandments.

I have sought to do my duty. I have pointed out the special sins of some. I was shown that in the wisdom of God the sins and errors of all would not be revealed. All would have sufficient light to see their sins and errors, if they desired to do so and earnestly wished to put them away, and to perfect holiness in the fear of the Lord. They could see what sins God marked and reproved in others. If these were cherished by themselves, they should know that they were abhorred of God and were separated from Him; and that unless they earnestly and zealously set about the work of putting them away they would be left in darkness. God is too pure to behold iniquity. A sin is just as grievous in His sight in one case as in another. No exception will be made by an impartial God. All who are guilty are addressed in these individual testimonies, although their names may not be attached to the special testimony borne; and if individuals pass over and cover up their own sins because their names are not especially called, they will not be prospered of God. They cannot advance in the divine life, but will become darker and darker, until the light of heaven will be entirely withdrawn.

If you are sitting in church, you “cannot advance in the divine life, but will become darker and darker, until the light of heaven will be entirely withdrawn.” Covering up your sins under the roof of church will not get you into heaven. God hates your church. Sin is sin. It doesn’t matter if it is in your church, a Sunday church, a bar down the street or a whorehouse. God calls the churches of today “whores”. They have taken your love away from obedience to Jesus.

Those who profess godliness, yet are not sanctified by the truth which they profess, will not change materially their course of action, which they know is hateful before God, because they are not subjected to the trial of being reproved individually for their sins. They see, by the testimonies of others, their own case faithfully pointed out before them. They are cherishing the same evil. By continuing their course of sin, they are violating their consciences, hardening their hearts, and stiffening their necks, just the same as though the testimony had been borne directly to them. In passing on and refusing to put away their sins and correct their wrongs by humble confession, repentance, and humiliation, they choose their own way, and are given up to the same, and are finally led captive by Satan at his will. They may become quite bold because they are able to conceal their sins from others and because the judgments of God do not come in a visible manner upon them. They may be apparently prosperous in this world. They may deceive poor, shortsighted mortals and be regarded as patterns of piety while in their sins. But God cannot be deceived. “Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before Him: but it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before God.” Although the life of a sinner may be prolonged upon the earth, yet not in the earth made new. He shall be of that number whom David mentions in his psalm: “For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. But the meek shall inherit the earth.”

“Those who profess godliness, yet are not sanctified by the truth which they profess, . . . because they are not subjected to the trial of being reproved individually for their sins.” Why is that? Because they sit in a church which refuses to reprove them individually for their sins. That would not be profitable. No, we will preach that you are “saved by grace”. Just come to church, pay your money and all is well. How Catholic.

Mercy and truth are promised to the humble and penitent, but judgments are prepared for the sinful and rebellious. “Justice and judgment are the habitation of Thy throne.” A wicked and adulterous people will not escape the wrath of God and the punishment they have justly earned. Man has fallen; and it will be the work of a lifetime, be it longer or shorter, to recover from that fall, and regain, through Christ, the image of the divine, which he lost by sin and continued transgression. God requires a thorough transformation of soul, body, and spirit in order to regain the estate lost through Adam. The Lord mercifully sends rays of light to show man his true condition. If he will not walk in the light he manifests a pleasure in darkness. He will not come to the light lest his deeds shall be reproved.

God is sending, through this ministry, His merciful “rays of light”. But few are willing to catch the rays and illuminate the dark areas of their lives. They put the umbrella of church over their head to deflect the “rays of light” from God.

“A wicked and adulterous people will not escape the wrath of God and the punishment they have justly earned.” And it doesn’t matter what church or denomination you belong to. If you are sitting in church, you are sinful and rebellious. You must regain the image of the divine or be lost eternally.

The case of N. Fuller has caused me much grief and anguish of spirit. That he should yield himself to the control of Satan to work wickedness as he has done is terrible. I believe that God designed that this case of hypocrisy and villainy should be brought to light in the manner it has been, that it might prove a warning to others. Here is a man who was acquainted with the teachings of the Bible, and who had listened to testimonies borne by me in his presence against the very sins which he was practicing. More than once he had heard me speak decidedly in regard to the prevailing sins of this generation, that corruption was teeming everywhere, that base passions controlled men and women generally, that among the masses crimes of the darkest dye were continually practiced, and they were reeking in their own corruption. The nominal churches are filled with fornication and adultery, crime and murder, the result of base, lustful passion; but these things are kept covered. Ministers in high places are guilty; yet a cloak of godliness covers their dark deeds, and they pass on from year to year in their course of hypocrisy. The sins of the nominal churches have reached unto heaven, and the honest in heart will be brought to the light and come out of them.

God is sending His lighting strikes against those who claim to be His church, His remnant. He is sending disaster after disaster against those who go to church on Sabbath and yet cover their dark deeds with a cloak of church. Get out before you will be destroyed. Run to Jesus and kneel before Him. Open His Word and begin reading from Genesis to Revelation and learn how to live as He commands. The disasters against those who claim to be His “remnant” people will only get worse and worse. Do not support them.

From the light that God has given me, fornication and adultery are estimated by a large number of the first-day Adventists as sins which God winks at. These sins are practiced to a great extent. They do not acknowledge the claims of God’s law upon them. They have broken the commandments of the great Jehovah and zealously teach their hearers to do the same, declaring that the law of God is abolished and has no claims upon them. In accordance with this free state of things, sin does not appear so exceedingly sinful; “for by the law is the knowledge of sin.” We may expect to find in this company men who will deceive, and lie, and give loose rein to lustful passions. But men and women who acknowledge the Ten Commandments binding, who observe the fourth commandment of the Decalogue, should carry out in their lives the principles of all ten of the precepts given in awful grandeur from Sinai.

Seventh-day Adventists, who profess to be looking for and loving the appearing of Christ, should not follow the course of worldlings. These are no criterion for commandment keepers. Neither should they pattern after first-day Adventists, who refuse to acknowledge the claims of the law of God and trample it under their feet. This class should be no criterion for them. Commandment-keeping Adventists occupy a peculiar, exalted position. John viewed them in holy vision and thus described them: “Here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”

The Lord made a special covenant with ancient Israel: “Now therefore, if ye will obey My voice indeed, and keep My covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto Me above all people: for all the earth is Mine: and ye shall be unto Me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation.” He addresses His commandment-keeping people in these last days: “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” “Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul.”

Not all who profess to keep the commandments of God possess their bodies in sanctification and honor. The most solemn message ever committed to mortals has been entrusted to this people, and they can have a powerful influence if they will be sanctified by it. They profess to be standing upon the elevated platform of eternal truth, keeping all of God’s commandments; therefore, if they indulge in sin, if they commit fornication and adultery, their crime is of tenfold greater magnitude than is that of the classes I have named, who do not acknowledge the law of God as binding upon them. In a peculiar sense do those who profess to keep God’s law dishonor Him and reproach the truth by transgressing its precepts.

It was the prevalence of this very sin, fornication, among ancient Israel, which brought upon them the signal manifestation of God’s displeasure. His judgments then followed close upon their heinous sin; thousands fell, and their polluted bodies were left in the wilderness. “But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents. Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.”

Seventh-day Adventists, above all other people in the world, should be patterns of piety, holy in heart and in conversation. I related in the presence of N. Fuller that the people whom God had chosen as His peculiar treasure were required to be elevated, refined, sanctified, partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. Should they who make so high a profession indulge in sin and iniquity, their guilt would be very great. The Lord reproves the sins of one, that others may take warning and fear.

Warnings and reproofs are not given to the erring among Seventh-day Adventists because their lives are more blameworthy than are the lives of professed Christians of the nominal churches, nor because their example or their acts are worse than those of the Adventists who will not yield obedience to the claims of God’s law, but because they have great light, and have by their profession taken their position as God’s special, chosen people, having the law of God written in their hearts. They signify their loyalty to the God of heaven by yielding obedience to the laws of His government. They are God’s representatives upon the earth. Any sin in them separates them from God and, in a special manner, dishonors His name by giving the enemies of His holy law occasion to reproach His cause and His people, whom He has called “a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people,” that they should show forth the praises of Him that hath called them out of darkness into His marvelous light. {2T 439-452}

Get out of your church now. All have become “nominal” in their teaching and living. None are living in obedience to the Laws of God’s Government. All are filled with Catholic teachings and influences. Do not look to your church. Look to Jesus and keep your eyes on Him alone.

Ministry News

God bless each one of you for your love and kindness to this little ministry.  As I watch the blessings of God flow out on those who love and support this ministry, my heart rejoices.  People are stepping out of their churches and following Jesus.  The blinders are coming off and their lives are being filled with the Spirit of God.  A few have been so touched, they send a double tithe each month and in return, I see them doubly blessed.  I thank each of you for the sacrifices you make to keep this little ministry operating.  We have reached over 2,500 inmates this year.  Keep up the good work folks.

By the time you receive this newsletter, I will probably have been to Rhode Island, visiting my Brother’s family, and back .  They were kind enough to pay for my trip.  I had never been able to visit them and this was a very kind gesture on their part.

God bless each of you,

Ron
