God's Role for Women

My Dear Family in Christ,

The Bible is to be our guide in every aspect of our lives. God has not left any doctrine or issue unaddressed that is important for our temporal prosperity and eternal salvation. If we love God, it is our desire, our duty, to find out what God has to say about any and every issue that pertains to our lives. Those of us who claim to love God want to please God. Ephesians 5:10. God created us and knows what is best for us. What does God say in His Word about the role of women in the family, church and society? Let us carefully take this topic into consideration and align our lives with God’s perfect, pleasing will.

When we study the Bible, it is very important that we understand the method of study. If we simply look for “statements” such as, “If you love Me, you keep My commandments,” John 14:15, then we have a problem. God did not produce the Bible as a manual, catechism or doctrinal handbook. Even though there are bits and pieces of those types of materials in the Bible, such as in the books of Moses, Proverbs and Ecclesiastes, those types of study materials are fine for the academic professors and those who love to fill their heads with facts, pass tests and earn degrees. But in order to get to heaven, an educated, academic belief is not what you want.

What is needed in order to get to heaven is heart knowledge. Keep in mind, the devil knows all the Bible facts but he won’t be in heaven. James 2:19. In Matthew chapter 4 we find the devil quoting Bible facts to Jesus. But knowing Bible facts and obeying them are two very different concepts. The Bible was written in order to change the life. That is the reason it was written, primarily, in story form. Story form helps us to understand context. It helps us to understand the human condition and how the human heart responds to everyday experiences. We can see ourselves in the stories of others and relate. We need to look at the whole experience in order to understand God’s reasoning and purpose for His divine admonitions for us.

A good place to start in our study of God’s role for women is in the beginning. “The LORD God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.” Genesis 2:7. This is very important. Man was not created from any other living thing. He was created from the pure elements of the earth and the power of God. He was the first of our species to be created. The man was created to represent God as the head of the human race. He was to be the authority, the leader of the family, church and society.

From “the rib that the LORD God had taken from the man He made into a woman and brought her to the man. Then the man said, ‘This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.’” Genesis 2:23, 24. The woman was taken from the rib of man in order to show the compatibility of woman, not equality of office. God could have taken a bone out of an elephant, but He didn’t. Get the point? She was not “compatible” with an elephant. “Then the LORD God said, ‘It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.’” Genesis 2:18. Woman was to be man’s helper. The woman was to be treated with love and respect, however, she was still to be under the headship of man. She was to be equal in all salvation issues but under the leadership of man in the family, church and society. What did Adam say, “bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh.” That “my” is very important. He understood that woman was his and he was God’s.

After sin it became even more important for women to be subjected to the man. It was the woman who left the side of man and yielded to the temptation of evil. She was the first to disobey without consulting her husband. In other words, she took Adam’s responsibility, the “headship” that belonged to Adam, as her own and made a decision without consulting Adam. Therefore, after sin, God laid down the command that woman’s “desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.” Genesis 3:16. However, this “rule” is not a master-slave situation. That is what Lucifer has turned it into. No, it is to be a leadership-follower type situation. As a governor has authority and rulership over his subjects. As Paul said, “Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them.” “Love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her. . .”. Colossians 3:19, Ephesians 5:25. Christ loving us, His church, does not give us permission to usurp His Headship. Same with the woman. Her pride and ego must be submitted to the man as the man’s pride and ego must be submitted to God.

During the Old Testament that concept and decree from God had never changed. It wasn’t about culture or some sick manly thinking, it was simply the fact that the world was living for four thousand years in obedience to that command of God. It was a command that worked. It was a command that kept harmony and peace in the family. With peace in the family you had greater peace in society. As Paul said, “But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.” 1 Corinthians 11:3.

Just as the “head of every man is Christ” has not changed, nor has the command to keep the 7th day Sabbath changed, so man as the head of every woman has not changed. God does not change His plan of salvation. “Headship” is a salvation issue. The head of every woman is still the man. Has that plan been misused by evil people? Yes. Has the Sabbath been misused by evil people? Yes. Do we do away with God’s plans and order of things simply to appease evil men and women who perverts them? Of course not.

Women and men in the eyes of God were to be treated differently. Not in a degraded sense, but in the sense of office or work. Just as parents and children are treated differently. Just as bosses and employees are treated differently. That doesn’t mean any less respect or love, they just have different works and positions in life. “A woman must not wear what is appropriate to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment, because anyone who does this is detestable to the LORD your God.” Deuteronomy 22:5. This concept is not just literal about clothes, but is also figurative. The woman is not to take man’s place as man is not to take the woman’s place. What God has commanded, man is not to separate. Mark 10:9.

The office or work of man was that of “house-band”, to encircle the family, church and society in order to lead, provide for and protect the family, church and society. The office and work of woman was to raise the family to fit into that society. The children and the home were the domain of the woman. It was her high honor, privilege and responsibility to train the next generation of men and women for God. While the husband was out tending the flocks, working the fields and protecting the community, the woman was watching the development of the children and training them to be productive members of society. Until the age of responsibility, about the age of 13, the male child was nurtured, educated, trained and under the authority of the mother.

Sometime around the age of 13 the boys were apprenticed to the father or some male adult in order to learn a trade and the manly responsibilities of the church and society. The girls were to continue learning from their mothers how to take care of the home, wash, feed and clothe the family. They were to make sure the home atmosphere and furnishings were fit for the glory of God. None of this in any way was to be thought of as slavery or a demeaning behavior or work. Just the opposite. It was considered the highest form of praise to be a good mother and raise the family respectably for the community. Just as the father’s work was in no way considered slavery or demeaning but high honor and a privilege to support, protect and serve his family and society. As the father laid down his life in service for his family, church and society, so the mother was to lay down her life in service for the family. As Jesus said, “But whoever would be great among you must be your servant.” Matthew 20:26. The woman was to be the “leader” of her children. She was the captain of her home under the generalship of the father. The mother was in command of the home and put into practice the theory and instructions given by the husband from the Lord. “So train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.” Titus 2:4.

I would like to share an example of this separation of office from a practical experience. In 1996 I was sent to Germany by the US Army in order to finish out my last year as a Military Policeman. Somehow the newspapers were tipped off to the fact that I was of German heritage and wanted to experience a fuller German life. After they published the article with my picture, many families requested that I live with them. It was the Englehart family I went to live with. They escaped from East Germany and had settled in the west. They had owned a business in the East and had to give it all up for their freedom.

What was interesting to me was to watch the interaction between the father, the mother and the children. They had, if I remember correctly, six children. The oldest was 22 and in medical training. The family ate breakfast and supper together. When we came to the table to eat, we all stood and waited for the father to be seated. The boys seated the mother. Before the children did anything they consulted their father and were obedient in every aspect of their lives. But this was not a dictatorial relationship. The children loved their father and tenderly held him in the highest esteem. The father showed his love in the most tenderest manners to the family. He listened to each child and did all in his power to give them proper advice, training and support. In the morning the mother would get down on her hands and knees before the father and polish his shoes at the front door before he left for work. Their love for each other was not just verbal but expressed in every act of their unselfish lives. They knew their roles and responsibilities to God, the family and each other.

Through this family arrangement it was God’s purpose for the children to learn how to be obedient to the authority over them. Through this learning in the physical world they would understand the spiritual: obedience to God. God was the authority over man, man was the authority over woman and woman was the authority over the children. As Paul said, “Every person must be subject to the governing authorities.” Romans 13:1. The children learned by watching and participating in the dynamics of the family.

Women were never to be leaders of men. Women were always to be under the authority of man. Once her male children became of age, the mother understood that she was to be obedient to the male children. However, the sons were trained by the mother from birth to love, respect and to honor their mother and all mothers for their hard work and responsibilities. Women were to be honored and respected. Both parents were respected, honored and cared for by the children until the parents were dead. As the 5th Commandment states, “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the LORD your God is giving you.” Exodus 20:12. That command had no end. As long as the parents lived the children were to hold them in high esteem and respect, listening to their advice and counsel. This esteem was also carried into their selection of a mate for life. The children were to take seriously the advice of the parents in selecting a mate. Every command that God gives us is for our good and the good of the church and the world we live in. None of this is debatable. Only the devil and the wicked debate God’s plans and purposes. Remember Eve? Instead of instantly obeying God and running from the serpent, she hung around and debated with him.

No woman of the Bible, who was obedient to God, was ever a “leader of men”. God looked upon women leaders as detestable. “My people—infants are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, your guides mislead you and they have swallowed up the course of your paths.” Isaiah 3:12. There were women prophets, but they were not leaders of men. There is a difference. They could not “command” men. God could use them as prophets to speak His words, but they were not allowed to enforce them, command them or direct men. They simply gave advice. And that is a good “motherly” thing to do. It was the father’s role, the role of man, to take charge and to lead and command the family, church and society in whatever office he held. Two thousand five hundred years after God told Eve she was to be under the headship of Adam, He again reiterated this fact. In the commands given at Mount Sinai to the Israelites, God laid down regulations that if followed brought dignity, protection and honor to the woman. While other nations treated women as objects to be used and abused, God laid down regulations that protected the person of the woman from abuse and dishonor. The regulations were intended to promote harmony, respect and separation of duties for the good of each individual, the family and society. Each knew their place, their position and the honor that came with it. This way each knew what was expected of him or her and they could concentrate on perfecting their skills in those directions for the glory of God, themselves, their families, church and society.

I want to take a moment here to give an example of the difference between the Bible and the Koran in the treatment of women. In the Koran, if a man rapes the women she is at fault and can be executed. The man goes free unless there are four witnesses to the rape. In the Bible God said that if a women was raped by a man in a place in which she could scream but not be heard, then “only the man who lay with her shall die.” Deuteronomy 22:25. God is fair, just and righteous. The laws of man are for the ruling party. The laws of God are for the protection, safety and honor of all.

It was in stepping out from under those regulations that pain, suffering and confusion came to the individual, the family, church and society. An example of this was the incident with Dinah, daughter of Jacob. She became rebellious, like Eve, and wanted to do her own thing. She left her home and went “out to see the women of the land.” Genesis 34:1. Terrible consequences followed the unsanctified relationships. Passions were aroused and a whole town destroyed because of her selfishness in breaking the rules God had set up to protect her, her family and society. How like today. We think that our act may be quite “innocent” and simple. But God knows what is best. When we break God’s laws and conditions for living, terrible consequences will follow. Our selfish lives will always bring disaster.

God is not trying to be a bully or a hard taskmaster; He is simply letting us know that He understands the nature of the human. After all, He created us. Do we trust Him? The laws He has given us are for our best interest. Just as no parent would allow a young child to play with fire and flammable material for the good of the child and the family, so in order to get to heaven, we must learn obedience to all of God’s laws and conditions as laid down for the human race. Any violation and we forfeit our eternal life. Salvation is not a democracy. When we look into the Bible we find examples of people who took into their own hands the requirements of God and through a democratic process decided to change the express will of God. Abraham listening to his wife and produced Ishmael. Genesis 16:2. When Abraham listened to God he produced Isaac. Genesis 21. When Herod listened to his wife it produced the head of John the Baptist. Mark 6:24. Pilate, “wishing to satisfy the church crowd, released for them Barabbas, and having scourged Jesus, he delivered Him to the church to be crucified.” Mark 15:15. Terrible things happen when we listen to a church or society that no longer is listening to God.

God can only take to heaven those who are willing to be obedient to the rules and conditions He has laid down. Rebellion causes sin. Sin causes pain, sorrow, suffering and death. We must surrender our wills, our egos, our pride, our wants and our wishes to the commands of God. We must accept the fact that God knows best. We must live as He commands: perfect, sinless and commandment keeping lives. Jesus said, “I always do what pleases Him.” John 8:29. Jesus did not convene a church committee to debate His mission or work. He did not take a vote from His disciples or the church leaders in order to decide what He should do. He is our example. Are you always doing what pleases Him? Is your church always doing what pleases Him? If not, you are required to come out from it.

As we look deeply into the Word of God, we find the living examples of those who obeyed God and the rules He set up to protect our dignity and honor. We also find those who disobeyed and brought shame and terrible consequences upon themselves, their families, the church and society. Miriam, the sister of Moses, was an example. When she fulfilled her duties and responsibilities she was a blessing to the people of God. When she set herself up to be a leader of men and pushed herself forward, God rebuked her. Exodus 15:20; Numbers 12:14.

It was the women of Moab who were used to entice Israel to sin against God. What Balaam could not do through his satanic enchantments, he was able to do through the women of Moab. The devil used the women of Moab, a nation not under the direction of God, to lead God’s people into sin. Thousands were destroyed because of the influence of these wicked women. Numbers 25:1-6.

Jezebel is another example of a woman who was leading through her husband and destroyed thousands and eventually the northern nation of Israel. Ahab had surrendered his role as leader and was being led by his wife. Ahab had no backbone. “There was none who sold himself to do what was evil in the sight of the LORD like Ahab, whom Jezebel his wife incited.” 1 Kings 21:25. Ahab placed himself in this position by letting his eyes wonder to a people that had rejected God. He chose a woman who had not dedicated her life to the service of God. When Ahab died, Jezebel ruled through her grandson, Joram.

The next is Athaliah. She was the mother of Ahaziah. Because of her leadership in his life he was killed along with Joram, King of Israel. She killed off all the heirs to the throne except for Joash and took over as queen of Judah. The effects of these two women, Jezebel and Athaliah, were devastating to the people and their nations. 2 Kings 11.

Queen Vashti was another woman who walked in the way of Eve. She rebelled against her husband, King Ahasuerus. The system God put in place after the rebellion of Eve worked so well, even the advisors to the pagan king understood them. They said, “Wives everywhere will have no respect for their husbands, and husbands will be angry with their wives.” Esther 1:18. Does that sound familiar today? On the other hand, Esther understood God’s plan for the happiness and productivity of the family. She was obedient to Mordecai who was bringing her up in the place of her dead parents. Even after becoming queen of the kingdom, she “obeyed Mordecai just as when she was brought up by him.” Esther 2:20. Because of her faithfulness to God’s requirements, God used Esther to save thousands of His people.

Ruth also knew her place and responsibilities to God. She left her family, church and a society that were not under the rulership of God and converted to the true God. Ruth 1:16. She changed her life. She did not run after men or hang out with the women. Ruth 3:10. She did not spend time in church. She took care of her mother-in-law and made sure she was provided for. In other words, she did her duty. Her mother-in-law then did her duty. Ruth waited and practiced self-control until Naomi was able to arrange for her best interest in a husband. Her duty, honor and obedience were rewarded with a grandson who became the greatest king of Israel.

Another woman who knew the rules and requirements of God was Hannah. She did not rebel or fight against them. She submitted and did her duty. As a result, she was rewarded with a son, Samuel, who became one of the greatest prophets and leaders of Israel.

Elizabeth was a woman who submitted to the authority of God and her husband. Through her, God raised up the forerunner to Jesus. She did not rebel against the rules and regulations of God. She was obedient to her husband and knew her place in the family and society. She did not let the church command her or tell her her duty. God was able to use John the Baptist because of his obedient mother. She taught him how to stay true to God and not man or a church. As the church was falling away from God, John stood firm for God.

Mary is another example of a woman who submitted to the rules and regulations of God. She knew her place and fulfilled it. Through her devotion to God, in obedience to God, she gave birth to the Savior of the world. Then she dedicated her life as a servant in teaching Jesus for the next 13 years the Word of God. Interesting to note, Jesus refused to be taught by the church.

To understand the role of women, I would strongly suggest you read Proverbs 31. That chapter is God’s way of showing what He approves in a woman. All mothers need to read that chapter, live it and share it with their daughters.

So what are women to do in today’s world? Just what God commands them to do. We are not to let circumstances, Political Correctness, nationalism, traditions, culture, social norms or church be our guide. We are to be a peculiar people, a people holy to the Lord. We are to be a people who obey the voice of the Lord and not our feelings, wishes, selfishness, convenience, society, Political Correctness, church committees or church leadership that violate God’s commands.

It is an interesting concept that in the Bible, the church of God is represented as His bride. She is to be betrothed to Him and Him alone. She is not to be committing adultery with other gods, such as the opinions of man, other churches and society. She is not to be running out of the home and following others. As His bride she is to be obedient to Him. His laws are to be obeyed in the household of God’s people. In Revelation 12:1 we see this woman as “clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.” As an obedient women, bride and spouse of Christ, she is adored by Christ. She is greatly honored. He gave His life for her. He serves her and clothes her with the greatest honors.

Paul shows why she achieves this honored state. “If she has brought up children, has shown hospitality, has washed the feet of the saints, has cared for the afflicted, and has devoted herself to every good work.” 1 Timothy 5:10. She is the one who keeps “the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus.” Revelation 12:17. Nothing there about leading men or what offices she held or what status she climbed to in society or the money she made. “So I would have younger widows marry, bear children, manage their households, and give the adversary no occasion for slander. For some have already strayed after Satan. 1 Timothy 5:14, 15.

And that is the problem. Our churches and denominations are no longer the bride of Christ. They are not teaching the people how to live as God commands. The churches “have already strayed after Satan”. In Revelation we see another woman who is “arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and jewels and pearls, holding in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of her sexual immorality. And on her forehead was written a name of mystery: ‘Babylon the great, mother of prostitutes and of earth’s abominations.’” Revelation 17:4, 5

This woman has committed adultery. As portrayed in Revelation, she has become a leader of men. She is commanding. She has left her God-given honor and position. She was once pure, once the bride of Christ, but has fallen. This woman has wrapped herself in worldly adornment, worldly feelings and worldly selfishness. Her pride, ego and need for attention has destroyed her, her family and society. She is more concerned with Political Correctness, selfishness and social norms than what God commands. All the churches and denominations of today have become her prostitutes. You might say she is the pimp selling her children to the world. All her children have the same characteristics:

1. They do not live the perfect, sinless, commandment keeping life required by God
2. They are more concerned with their own feelings and wants than what God has commanded
3. They are more concerned with what the traditions and fashions of the world require than what God commands
4. Their own opinions, church doctrines of men, Church councils, man’s philosophies, money, pride, ego and position are more important than the commands of God.

Again, it is important to come back to the truth as is taught by God in the Bible. God gave that truth again in the New Testament in order to keep His people on track and aware of what would be coming within two thousand years of Paul. Let us review those principles that God enjoins on woman in the New Testament.

1. For man was not made from woman, but woman from man. 1 Corinthians 11:8
2. Neither was man created for woman, but woman for man. 1 Corinthians 11:9
3. Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. 1 Timothy 2:11
4. I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. 1 Timothy 2:12
5. Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor. 1 Timothy 2:14
6. The women should keep silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak (have leadership role), but should be in submission, as the Law also says. 1 Corinthians 14:34
7. Train the young women to love their husbands and children. Titus 2:4

What has been the result of disobedience? “They learn to be idlers, going about from house to house, and not only idlers, but also gossips and busybodies, saying what they should not.” 1 Timothy 5:13. Women today have truly become “gossips and busybodies” in the family, church and society. Let us review the “present” history and follow the workings of the devil to destroy the world and God’s people.

Up until about the 1800s, women were fulfilling their duties as a whole. Women stayed at home, taught the children, and the world was a pretty nice place. Yes, there were little arguments here and there with some disagreements between nations and ideologies. But for the most part, as the world was in compliance with the order of God for the family, the world was generally at peace. America was prosperous and growing. The TV program “Leave it to Beaver” encapsulated this concept. Where that order was broken, there society became broken. There were few prisons and few in prison. People were raised by their mothers to understand honor, respect, duty and responsibility. Each male child was taught to work and provide for his own family.

The devil hates God and His requirements. As he used the woman Eve to destroy God’s family, so he has been continuing that concept. In 1914 Lucifer started World War One. His diabolical scheme was simple, kill as many people as possible to keep them from heaven. But it went further than just killing a few people. Since men went to war that meant someone had to replace him in the factories, the farms and businesses. Those replacements were the women. Women streamed out of the home and entered the workplace. Without women in the home the children grew up under the supervision of grandparents or left alone. When the war ended a lot of women returned to their homes and were satisfied with their place in the order of things. After all, they had been taught by their mothers and grandmothers how to be women, mothers and wives. But their going into the workplace during World War One was just the beginning. By being out of the home for about five years, their children began seeing that there were alternatives to the “norm”.

Therefore, the devil started World War Two in order to finish off God’s “norm” and start a new “norm”. In most of the world, World War Two lasted almost eight years. Families, communities and societies were totally disrupted. No longer was “family” what it used to be. After the war the liberated women did not want to go back to the high honor of being mothers. After all, how could they go back to just being mothers. Over 60 million were killed during the war. Most were men. Therefore, women had to continue in the workplace. They felt liberated and wanted money, authority and a say in the world. Little by little the parents no longer taught their children and the family began to disintegrate and fall apart. Parents were too busy working for money. They left the raising of their children to the schools or sitters. Then it was radio. Then it was television. Then it was computers. Then the churches took over the spiritual training of children. Parenting no longer was important. The parents could work and make money while the church and society raised the kids. Now you don’t even need “parents”. Gays, lesbians and single “parents” or foster “homes” and group “homes” now raise the kids.

And what has been the result of this new “norm”? Women now are in charge of men. Women are now leading churches and governments. Women are now taking over the emotional thinking of the world. Men have become neutered. Especially in the church. Seldom do we see young men in churches unless they are following their women. Where do we see the men? Sports, military and gangs are about the last bastions of “manliness” on the planet. Instead of going to church, let’s go to the football games, the basketball games, the baseball games, the soccer games, etc. Let’s play shoot’em up computer games. Anything but church in order to exhibit our manliness. The only exception to this is Islam. Islam is still a “man’s” religion. It is also the world’s fastest growing religion.

The religion of God is a man’s religion. Men were to take hold of it and be Christian soldiers for Christ. Manly standing in their places, men were to be moving the church forward in battling sin and conquering for Christ. The “Christian” religion today has become sissified and effeminate. Males no longer are men in the church. The churches are run by women as they would run their homes of today. Instead of educating the children, the children are entertained in the churches. That is so much easier. Instead of standing up as men for God’s commands, we are in our church pews listening to women or effeminate men put us to sleep with “saved by grace”.

Women’s lib has become so powerful in the arsenal of the devil that it is destroying billions. Three young men almost had their lives destroyed because a woman falsely accused them of rape. The women of the area allowed their feelings and emotions, like Eve did, to overcome justice and truth. The women marched, yelled and protested with inflamed emotions. It was mob rule by women. Fortunately, in the end, justice prevailed. The one who claimed to be raped turned out to be a liar. She just wanted money from the wealthy young men.

This historical fact is the “Duke Lacrosse Scandal”. But it is playing out over and over again almost every day in society and our churches. Lives are being destroyed now and for eternity because women are being used by Lucifer to destroy men and society. Those under the rule of Lucifer hate God’s laws and what He commands. Again, remember what we read? “They learn to be idlers, going about from house to house, and not only idlers, but also gossips and busybodies, saying what they should not.” 1 Timothy 5:13. The result: riots, demonstrations and the destruction of law and order.

One result of this, the number of male prisoners is at an all-time high. In America, between 1920 and 1980 less than 250,000 were in prisons and jails. Between 1980 and 2000 roughly 500,000 where behind bars. Now almost 2.4 million men are in prison, jail or some kind of criminal justice supervision in the USA alone. Over 65 million Americans have criminal records. The whole world is in agitation. There is no time to be quiet in the home before the Lord and listen to what He wants. The governments are in turmoil as the hearts of the people are. There is terrorism, mass murders, no cohesiveness in anything. Political parties are all in turmoil and splintering. Governments are falling apart. The churches are splintering and everyone is finding their own belief since all have rejected the teachings and commands of God. Since 1980 when the “saved by grace” teaching became the dominant teaching in the churches, with the accompanying concept that we don’t need to be obedient to the laws of God, and we can do as we please, crime has risen from less than 250,000 inmates in the USA to over 2.4 million.

Women are being ordained, becoming church leaders, homosexuality, recreational sex, adultery, fornication, drugs, individual wants without any concern for the greater good are all accepted by the churches. All of this is no longer done in a corner. No, all is now legal and an accepted “norm” by society and churches that do not want to offend anyone. Of course they do not realize that they are offending God. But the devil doesn’t want you to care about offending God. It is more important not to offend the mass media, the government, your church or your school. And be sure you do not offend the women. The laws of the land and our churches are now making sin legal while outlawing righteousness.

In Daniel 11:31 we read where an “abomination that makes desolate” is set up. When Eve disobeyed God, took the lead and decided to make a decision on her own, usurping the authority of her husband, her act was an abomination that caused desolation. They lost their home and changed the course of history. Their lives became desolate. What an “abomination of desolation” was created. Interesting to note that Jesus stated, “when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) . . .” Mark 13:14. And where was that abomination standing where it was not to be? “Standing in the holy place.” Matthew 24:15. Therefore, in Daniel 12:11 we are told when “the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be 1,290 days.” Should we start counting those days now that women are being ordained and made leaders of men in the “holy place”: church?

The last great prophet for our modern time, whom God raised up to bring the world and the church back to Him, is ignored, shunted off to the basement and rejected. That prophet was not a “leader” of men. That prophet never held an office. That prophet never controlled anyone or anything. That prophet never sat on a committee. That prophet actually obeyed the commands of righteous men who were leaders of the church. However, that prophet simply gave advice. Good “motherly” advice. But the church then and now refuses to listen to the good “motherly” advice. The words God gave through that prophet are no longer obeyed. The church has fallen. It is now all about committees and the popular vote of church members. It has become confused - “Babylon”. {1T 270}. The church no longer knows what it is doing. It has lost its anchor. It is drifting on human wisdom, human theories, human traditions, human opinions and human committees. It has lost its way. It is no longer teaching the 3 Angel’s Messages. It talks about the 3 Angel’s Messages, but it has no idea what those messages are or mean. Much like the Catholic Church talking about obedience to God, but has no idea what that means.

Those messages are to “Fear God and give Him glory”. Revelation 14:7. But you can’t be giving God glory or fearing Him when you are not obeying Him. You can’t give Him glory when you are disobeying His command for the woman to be under the headship of the man. You are not giving glory to God when you are making policies that go against the plain teachings of God for the sake of human feelings and opinions. We are no longer teaching the truth that Jesus taught. The church that was raised up to proclaim the 3 Angel’s Messages is no longer living those messages nor proclaiming them. We no longer believe in the teachings of Jesus to stop sinning, be perfect and keep the Ten Commandments for our eternal life. No, now the opinion is, we don’t want to offend, we want to be inclusive, we want to look like the world, we need to enlarge our tent and accept all people, ideas, beliefs and practices because we have our rights. And so we do. God has given you the right to “choose this day whom you will serve.” Joshua 24:15. If you choose obedience to God you will live. If you choose to disobey God and rebellion, you will die. “The word of God lays down the conditions of our salvation, and it rests wholly with ourselves whether or not we will comply with them.”{5T 692.2}

The church no longer is producing a peculiar people, holy people or a royal priesthood. It no longer teaches the “conditions of our salvation”. There is now no difference between the people of any church or the world. No, now the church is Babylon, happily sleeping in “peace and safety” in the Laodicea condition of letting women tell us what we want to hear. It is my prayer that you will return unto the Lord your God and become obedient to every command, desire and wish of our Lord Jesus Christ. We must be obedient and “Come out of her, My people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues.” Revelation 18:4.

The Lord’s wrath is beginning to fall on what was once His church because it no longer glorifies Him. Like the Jews of old, the people have made church their god and have rejected the commands of Him who brought them out of the 1844 churches of sin. Now that church is returning back to the teachings and opinions of the worldly churches it once came out of.

God bless you as you stand up, get a backbone and live as God commands no matter what the consequence. Otherwise, you will share in the plagues that are soon to be poured out upon the church and the world.

“When the mind is youthful and vigorous and susceptible of rapid development, there is great temptation to be ambitious for self, to serve self. If worldly schemes are successful, there is an inclination to continue in a line that deadens conscience, and prevents a correct estimate as to what constitutes real excellence of character. When circumstances favor this development, growth will be seen in a direction prohibited by the word of God.

“In this formative period of their children’s life, the responsibility of parents is very great. It should be their study to surround the youth with right influences, influences that will give them correct views of life and its true success. Instead of this, how many parents make it their first object to secure for their children worldly prosperity. All their associations are chosen with reference to this object. Many parents make their home in some large city, and introduce their children into fashionable society. They surround them with influences that encourage worldliness and pride. In this atmosphere the mind and soul are dwarfed. The high and noble aims of life are lost sight of. The privilege of being sons of God, heirs of eternity, is bartered for worldly gain.

“Many parents seek to promote the happiness of their children by gratifying their love of amusement. They allow them to engage in sports, and to attend parties of pleasure, and provide them with money to use freely in display and self-gratification. The more the desire for pleasure is indulged, the stronger it becomes. The interest of these youth is more and more absorbed in amusement, until they come to look upon it as the great object of life. They form habits of idleness and self-indulgence that make it almost impossible for them ever to become steadfast Christians.

“Even the church, which should be the pillar and ground of the truth, is found encouraging the selfish love of pleasure. When money is to be raised for religious purposes, to what means do many churches resort? To bazaars, suppers, fancy fairs, even to lotteries, and like devices. Often the place set apart for God’s worship is desecrated by feasting and drinking, buying, selling, and merrymaking. Respect for the house of God and reverence for His worship are lessened in the minds of the youth. The barriers of self-restraint are weakened. Selfishness, appetite, the love of display, are appealed to, and they strengthen as they are indulged.

“The pursuit of pleasure and amusement centers in the cities. Many parents who choose a city home for their children, thinking to give them greater advantages, meet with disappointment, and too late repent their terrible mistake. The cities of today are fast becoming like Sodom and Gomorrah. The many holidays encourage idleness. The exciting sports—theatergoing, horse racing, gambling, liquor-drinking, and reveling—stimulate every passion to intense activity. The youth are swept away by the popular current. Those who learn to love amusement for its own sake open the door to a flood of temptations. They give themselves up to social gaiety and thoughtless mirth, and their intercourse with pleasure lovers has an intoxicating effect upon the mind. They are led on from one form of dissipation to another, until they lose both the desire and the capacity for a life of usefulness. Their religious aspirations are chilled; their spiritual life is darkened. All the nobler faculties of the soul, all that link man with the spiritual world, are debased.

“It is true that some may see their folly and repent. God may pardon them. But they have wounded their own souls, and brought upon themselves a lifelong peril. The power of discernment, which ought ever to be kept keen and sensitive to distinguish between right and wrong, is in a great measure destroyed. They are not quick to recognize the guiding voice of the Holy Spirit, or to discern the devices of Satan. Too often in time of danger they fall under temptation, and are led away from God. The end of their pleasure-loving life is ruin for this world and for the world to come.

“Cares, riches, pleasures, all are used by Satan in playing the game of life for the human soul. The warning is given, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.” 1 John 2:15, 16. He who reads the hearts of men as an open book says, “Take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting and drunkenness and cares of this life.” Luke 21:34. And the apostle Paul by the Holy Spirit writes, “They that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil; which, while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” 1 Timothy 6:9, 10. {COL 53-55}

Hey Dad,
How are things going there. I can’t wait to go up for parole to see if I make it. God has really given me a reason to live and that’s for Him. I’m really glad that I came across your address cuz I get discouraged sometimes. Not having anyone on the streets to write to or anyone to look forward to getting a letter from to lifts my spirits. When I get a letter from you it really helps out a lot. I really appreciate you taking the time out of your day to write me a letter. So you have two dogs. I haven’t ever had a dog or any animals for that matter. I’ve always wanted a dog, though. I really hope that God opens the doors and the way for me to come there. I can’t wait to start training and learning about CGI and using Blender. I have a little experience with computers and Android cell phones. But I’ve never done anything like create images on a computer before. That sounds like something I would enjoy doing. I have been studying “Change Your Life Biblically” and this book has really been an eye opener for me. You are right about people telling me I’m wrong and we are not under the Ten Commandments any more. But then I show them the Scriptures in the Bible and a few believe and study with me. Everyone else stopped studying with me. They told me I was crazy. But I don’t let them get me down. There are few that find the narrow path and I’m lucky enough for God to have revealed it to me. There is so much I still need to learn and yes, it will probably take a life time to read and learn all that I would like to know. But I keep my faith steady and strong in God and my Lord Jesus Christ. I thank them every day for opening my eyes and ears to the life changing gospel of God. Well dad, I’m going to get this in the mail. I’m doing all right. God has provided me with a pen-pal and hopefully will open doors for me to come to you and live for this ministry. In the love of Christ,
Sherman, TN

Hello Ronald,
I understand that you have a place where people can live at this ministry. I read your JCPM Introductory Issue and I really enjoyed your testimony on how this ministry started. That’s why I strongly believe that God is the God of the supernatural. He works in mysterious ways. I believe that God has called each of us to serve Him in some kind of way. For instance, the Lord gave me a prophecy through a close friend of mine. God told me that I would be a preacher/pastor one day. I have never even heard of your ministry until my friend told me about it. He told me that you have a place for people to live . If you really do, I’m real interested in coming to your ministry. Not just to live there, but also would enjoy working for your ministry if you have any work when I get out. The reason I want to come to your ministry is because I want to serve God. I’m done serving the devil. God has told me what will happen to people who serve the devil. They will be cast into the lake of fire. I don’t want to go to that dreadful place. I would be honored to join your ministry. I want to help you build up God’s kingdom. I just want to serve God till He returns.

I am writing because I’m in dire need of help. In fact, I’m desperate for it. For some reason God is telling me that my prayers are soon to be answered. I’m a 37 year old African American male. Life has dealt me some devastating blows. But somehow I’ve always found the strength to keep my head up and move forward. I strongly believe that I’m going to need consistent correspondence and monitoring from someone of Christian faith to get me through these very trying times and rough patches. Could you perhaps be the one to offer me help? Can you give me advice and guidance? Or if possible will you hear my story out in a future letter? It would sure help if I were able to confide in someone.
Danair, CA

I would like to sign up for the free Bible study and web site program you have. And any other programs you have for free to help me find a better way to live. Thank you for your time.
Raymond, TX

Dear Ron,
I am in a drug treatment program. The program is 14 hours a day: 7 am to 9 pm. I desperately need your book, although we are on a strict budget. I have passed out the forms you sent me in hopes I could get them to get a book. We don’t get stamps here and our envelopes already have our name on them. There is only one copy of your book here and it is in Medium Custody. I am in the “LIFT” program with 53 other women. We cannot communicate with GP (General Population) at all. Christ is working in my life beyond my dreams. I want to spread the gospel when I get out. I would love to have your book to work with for the next months.
Retha, OR

I would like to participate in Bible studies. Could you please put me on the list? I greatly appreciate it. Is there anyone interested in correspondence for fellowship purposes? I am not interested in money, etc. I am simply a lonely man of God looking for someone to share the Word of God with.
Billy, TX

I am 53 years old and in prison. I am a Christian and I would like to know if your ministry could help me find Christian pen-pals? Please let me know. Thank you,
Juan, CA

Dear JCPM,
I am requesting any and all literature you can afford to send me. I live in Lucerne Valley and will return upon my release. I am looking forward to finding a house of God to make my own. Do you have a local resource of information such as Bible studies, magazines, etc. So I can get close to God?
Michael, CA

Dear Ron,
This study was one of the toughest, if not the toughest, undertakings I’ve ever done. I had to think an a completely different level. It has been well worth the effort. I’ve been doing Bible studies for several years with various ministries, but this one is very in-depth, thought provoking and interesting. Tough, but I like being challenged.
Dennis, FL

Hi Ron,
I’m writing you to give you an update of the ministry God has given me here in prison. Some people hate me here. I don’t have very many friends here that I want to hang out with. A lot of them say we can’t keep the Commandments. The Word says if they have a form of godliness and deny the power, from such turn away. So I do. I was doing a Bible study with 4 guys. I finished the studies with 2 of the men. One of them I don’t think even paid attention. The others seemed to be glad at first for awhile, until other guys in the chow hall where he works started twisting Paul’s writings to their destruction. There was affliction for the Word’s sake, now he decided to take a break. Please pray for him. His name is Rick. Pray that he sees that he learned the truth. I know during the studies I saw the Holy Spirit convicting his heart. My Southsider neighbor was making fun of me for reading Spirit of Prophecy books with my other neighbor a few months ago. I was surprised when he asked 2 days ago if I would do it for him as well. I’m so excited. Now I know what it means to be hated for His name’s sake. I and another guy have gotten ridiculed for getting rebaptized.
Jason, CA

I recently was able to look at your book, “Change Your Life Biblically”. I am interested in receiving my own copy.
Jessica, OR

To Whom It May Concern,
You asked in your letter for 10 stamps or a four page letter on how this book has changed my life. First of all, I do not receive any money. I get an indigent envelop once a month. This means the 10 stamps is not possible. I do not have anybody on the outside that can cover the expense. This leaves only one choice, to tell you how this book changed my life. Well, I could tell you how everything is peaches and cream since I started trying to live by the teachings in this book. I use the book to try to change my thinking patterns. Honestly, I’ve tried many things before and can still honestly admit that I don’t know how to deal with people, situations or tribulations very well. I’m going to try to show you what I got out of each step. That way if I am wrong you can correct me. The “Faith” section was very difficult for me. I have not had anyone stay faithful to me in my life so I returned it in kind. I have had a long history of starting stuff and quitting them as soon as they got difficult. Well, since I’ve been trying to follow these steps I have been trying to be a more faithful person to everyone. More faithful to people by not lying to them, keeping my word when I say something, and most important for me, not letting myself get distracted. On the other side of that, I have been working on my faith with God. In my life every time something bad happened, I blamed God because I knew He could have changed it. For example, when my mom died, it unleashed a very dark, very hateful part of me that I thrived on for my whole life. I seemed to have lost my faith that God knows what is best for me. I am trying to change that now. Obviously I do not know what is best for me. About “Goodness”. I have always wanted to be a “good person”. Well, I have learned that I can not be a good person. For example, I told you before that I do not receive money. When I need something, someone randomly comes up and either gives it or asks if I have hygiene items. The point is, I never have to ask. I am in prison. These people don’t care about me, but through Jesus, they show His love. I have lived a life of revenge and wanting people to get what they deserve. If we all got what we deserved everyone would have eternal punishment. Anytime I receive anything I quickly give some of it or something else to someone else. This one big change I see in myself. When I first came into prison, I knew that I didn’t have anything and I wasn’t going to get anything. So whatever I came up with was valuable to me. I began to cherish things too much. Now, if someone needs something I quickly provide what I can because I know it will come back to me in some way. By the way, I loved the “volunteer missionary” description. It was awesome. Knowledge is power. I believe this whole heatedly. When I was younger, I didn’t read my Bible very often. When I was unsure of something, people would give me advice from the Bible. I never thought to ask them where they found it. I just accepted what I was told which caused many problems later when I did begin to study. I learned that what I was readying wasn’t what I believed. How strange the thought was. I had lived most of my life as a “Christian” and did not believe what the Bible said. Since trying to straighten myself out, I have learned that I have to read my Bible everyday, otherwise my old person keeps control over my thoughts and feelings. Self-Control has always been a weakness in my life. Like most people I knew I lived with the motto, “If it feels good do it.” I can not count how many problems this has caused me in my life. I have been addicted to almost everything. It is possible for a man to be addicted to, for example: cocaine, beer, sex, pornography, foul language, fighting, video games, to name a few. I have overcome all of the addictions at some point in my life. But at some point, they have all come back. In common terms, I just like doing what I want to do. My mind is full of garbage that I have crammed into it since I was a child. In order to change that, I have quit reading secular fiction books, stay away from the foul language and try to push away the negative thoughts that travel through my mind on a regular basis. Everyone has different things that bother them on a daily basis. The “Perseverance” section was really a barometer of where I am at and where I am trying to be. It was very easy for me to give my life over to the addictions I had. You see, I wanted to look at the naked girls on the computer so I didn’t have to talk myself into turning on that computer. On the other hand, doing what I am supposed to be doing was not a whole lot of fun for me. It is very hard for me to keep away from old addictions. The section said, “Bad company corrupts good character.” I believe this now. It took me my whole life to believe this though. I used to think that I was a good influence to my bad friends. That doesn’t work because they always talked me into going to the bars and strip clubs. I wasn’t talking them into going to church. You also said we are not reading. That is very true. I read what I am supposed to be doing and it sounds so easy. But it is a struggle for me constantly. All I can do is keep trying. I do make one promise. I promise to persevere. I am tired of living as a slave to my addictions, my thoughts and other people’s expectations, the world’s view of what I am supposed to be, etc. I have tried to change many times in my life. I’m tired of trying. I look back now and see I was just fooling myself. I didn’t put in any work, effort or heart. I feel like this can help me. But I have to stick with it no matter what. Godliness or being like Jesus. I get a genuine joy from helping those in need. Not for fame, glory or recognition, in fact I hate to be even acknowledged. I have suffered from low self esteem my whole life. Most of the people in here look at me in pity. From their perspective I have nothing. I have no outside family, I get no money and the only kind words I hear are from strangers on the street who volunteer to pray for us or send a birthday card. On the other hand, I have learned to be very grateful for what I have. I get more gratification out of one soup than most of the guys get out of $5 worth of canteen. I don’t need material things, although it is nice to receive a bar of soap occasionally. I appreciate you writing because I don’t go to the chapel here. There are a lot of people up there that I just can’t be around. I will try to use what I have learned to become the man God wants me to be.
Michael, FL

Dear Brother Ron,
Hi, you sent me the workbook, “Change Your Life Biblically”. However, I was going through a trial and they moved me to a different building. During that time my workbook was either misplaced, lost or stolen. I don’t know what happened to it because I didn’t bag up my property. Well, I’m writing to ask you with all respect if you will please send me another workbook? I don’t have stamps or money to buy the book, so I’m asking if you will please send me the book for free. Well, I know that God sure has had His hold on me because I am in the Word daily and I’m now fellowshipping with a few people here.
Joaquin, CA

Dear Ron,
Well, I never heard a Christian express church in the matter that you stated, but it really makes so much sense. I am ministered to as you made the statement. I have been a church member in various leadership positions. I often wondered what is happening to church people??? Sometimes, its hard to see the difference of church Christians and people on the streets. I love the fact that street people are HONEST AND REAL. I AM SO “HONORED” THAT GOD SHOWED ME YOUR MINISTRY IN MY SEARCH LATE LAST NIGHT. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH.
ALBERTA , E-mail (non-inmate)

Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,
The gift of the flyers, bookmarkers, and the post ups is such a blessing to the men here. As I am sure that you already know we serve a prison population of approximately 1750 inmates at any given time and your gift is being shared with all of them. It is such a blessing to see a strong prison ministry working to change the hearts of those who are behind the walls. Your ministry is so instrumental in this work and the men can’t stop talking about and sharing the literature.

Testimony for God's People

My Dear Family,

Why do we continue holding on to the world and our churches? Let us continue listening to the voice of God through His prophets. Let us bring the messages given by His prophets up to date and apply them to our lives. That is the whole purpose of the Bible. The messages are timeless. They speak to all hearts and situations down to our day and beyond. The modern prophet of God continues.

As I have been shown the dangers of those who profess better things, and the sins that exist among them,—a class who are not suspected of being in any danger from these polluting sins,—I have been led to inquire: Who, O Lord, shall stand when Thou appearest? Only those who have clean hands and pure hearts shall abide the day of His coming.

How sad that our churches, pastors and denominations are not teaching how to attain those “clean hands and pure hearts”. The Bible is very plain that the “sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Matthew 8:12. I don’t understand why people trust their churches and not the teachings of Jesus. They have put their salvation in the hands of men but refuse to listen to Jesus. On the Mount of Transfiguration God told the disciples, hence the church, to listen the Jesus. Matthew 17:5. But the world, the churches, the denominations and pastors refuse to listen.

Here we see that in the last days, those who claim to be the “sons” of God, in other words, His children, those who go to “church”, will not be accepted into Heaven. It is an interesting phenomenon that the resistance this ministry gets is from those who claim to be the “sons of God”. While those in the “highways and byways” are accepting the teachings of Jesus and changing their lives. But God predicted that. The churches have come between God’s children and Heaven. God raised up this ministry as He did Moses, Elijah, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, John the Baptist and the disciples. But as with all of them, the church constantly fights against those God raises up and the church rejects them. The people love their churches.

I feel impelled by the Spirit of the Lord to urge my sisters who profess godliness to cherish modesty of deportment and a becoming reserve, with shamefacedness and sobriety. The liberties taken in this age of corruption should be no criterion for Christ’s followers. These fashionable exhibitions of familiarity should not exist among Christians fitting for immortality. If lasciviousness, pollution, adultery, crime, and murder are the order of the day among those who know not the truth, and who refuse to be controlled by the principles of God’s word, how important that the class professing to be followers of Christ, closely allied to God and angels, should show them a better and nobler way. How important that by their chastity and virtue they stand in marked contrast to that class who are controlled by brute passions.

And again, no sin is any greater than any other. Sins of pride in our church, ego in our beliefs, selfishness in our hearts and so on are just as bad. If we commit one sin, we are breaking them all. No sinner will be in Heaven. Only those who have refused to sin.

I have inquired: When will the youthful sisters act with propriety? I know there will be no decided change for the better until parents feel the importance of greater carefulness in educating their children correctly. Teach them to act with reserve and modesty. Educate them for usefulness, to be helps, to minister to others rather than to be waited upon and be ministered unto.

Satan controls the minds of the youth in general. Your daughters are not taught self-denial and self-control. They are petted, and their pride is fostered. They are allowed to have their own way until they become headstrong and self-willed, and you are put to your wit’s end to know what course to pursue to save them from ruin. Satan is leading them on to be a proverb in the mouth of unbelievers because of their boldness, their lack of reserve and womanly modesty. The young boys are likewise left to have their own way. They have scarcely entered their teens before they are by the side of little girls of their own age, accompanying them home and making love to them. And the parents are so completely in bondage through their own indulgence and mistaken love for their children that they dare not pursue a decided course to make a change and restrain their too-fast children in this fast age.

With many young ladies the boys are the theme of conversation; with the young men, it is the girls. “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.” They talk of those subjects upon which their minds mostly run. The recording angel is writing the words of these professed Christian boys and girls. How will they be confused and ashamed when they meet them again in the day of God! Many children are pious hypocrites. The youth who have not made a profession of religion stumble over these hypocritical ones and are hardened against any effort that may be made by those interested in their salvation.

Please keep in mind, adultery is used by God to describe the church and people of this day and age who claim to be His “sons and daughters”. The church-going people have made their church their “god” and have adulterated themselves to it. Their church is more important than following the plain teachings of God. Those of us who are called to bring His people back to Him are hated, slandered, maligned and ridiculed. But that is what Jesus said would happen to those of us who serve Him.

There ought to be picked men at the heart of the work, men who in every emergency can be relied upon to keep the fort, men who are unselfish, abounding in generosity and all good works, whose lives are hid in God, and who consider the better life of more value than food and clothing. “Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?” God calls for faithful sentinels right at the heart of the work, who will love souls for whom Christ died, and who will bear the burden for perishing souls, looking forward to that recompense of reward which will be theirs when they enter into the joy of their Lord and behold souls saved through their instrumentality to live as long as God shall live, and be happy, eternally happy, in His glorious kingdom. Oh, that we could arouse fathers and mothers to a sense of their duty! Oh, that they would feel deeply the weight of responsibility resting upon them! Then they might forestall the enemy and gain precious victories for Jesus. Parents are not clear in this matter. They should closely investigate their lives, analyze their thoughts and motives, and see if they have been circumspect in their course of action. They should watch closely to see if their example in conversation and deportment has been such as they would wish their children to imitate. Purity and virtue should shine out in their words and acts before their children.

But again, the church no longer teaches truth and righteousness. It is all about money. Teach only what will bring in the money. Don’t condemn, don’t “reprove, rebuke, and exhort” for that will only drive the money away. 2 Timothy 4:2. Just tell them what they want and let them know they are “saved by grace” and can go to heaven in their sins.

I have been shown families where the husband and father has not preserved that reserve, that dignified, godlike manhood, which is befitting a follower of Christ. He has failed to perform the kind, tender, courteous acts due to his wife, whom he has promised before God and angels to love, respect, and honor while they both shall live. The girl employed to do the work has been free and somewhat forward to dress his hair and to be affectionately attentive, and he is pleased, foolishly pleased. In his love and attention to his wife he is not as demonstrative as he once was. Be sure that Satan is at work here. Respect your hired help, treat them kindly, considerately, but go no further. Let your deportment be such that there will be no advances to familiarity from them. If you have words of kindness and acts of courtesy to give, it is always safe to give them to your wife. It will be a great blessing to her, and will bring happiness to her heart, to be reflected upon you again. {2T 459-461}

We may not have “hired help” but we sure have hired the devil to come right into our lives through TV, radio, Ipads, Iphones, computers and magazines, etc. The church has become a walking brothel. God calls the Protestant churches the whores of the great prostitute. When will we wake up and get out as God has commanded us?

Ministry News

I want to thank each of you for your love and support. So far this year I have sent out 1400 flyer packets to jails and prisons all across the USA. I have asked the Warden or the Chaplain to make copies and distribute the flyers to the inmates. So far the response has been excellent. We are entering new jails and prisons. Inmates are desirous of changing their lives. Without your prayers and help we would not be able to reach them.
