Inmate Testimonies

My Dear Family in Christ,

For your holiday delight this year, I thought I would share with you testimonies from inmates and non-inmates. People who have found the joy of the truth in their lives. Who have found “the Truth”, Jesus Christ, and the fulfilment He brings to a life that is dedicated in obedience to Him.

At the end of every year the Israelites were to gather and share the blessings of God with each other. This was not a time to talk about commerce. This was not a time to talk about worldly activities. This was the time to share what God had done for them and what they were doing for God. They were to encourage each other in the Lord.

“There are times when it is fitting for our ministers to give on the Sabbath, in our churches, short discourses, full of the life and love of Christ. But the church members are not to expect a sermon every Sabbath.

“Let church members, during the week, act their part faithfully, and on the Sabbath relate their experience. The meeting will then be as meat in due season, bringing to all present new life and fresh vigor. When God’s people see the great need of working as Christ worked for the conversion of sinners, the testimonies borne by them in the Sabbath service will be filled with power. With joy they will tell of the precious experience they have gained in working for others.” {3TT 82}

Since most church services do not allow members to share the testimonies of the work they are doing, please sit back and read the testimonies from God’s children who are working for Jesus. Listen to the joy as they tell what Jesus has done for them.

Dear Ron,
Thank you for all the literature you’ve sent. I’ve read some of it and plan to read all of it. I had written to you about my cousins who are in prison: Dorthea and George. I recently received a letter from my cousin George. I haven’t heard from him in months. He was in a fight with some people in prison and he ended his letter telling me “goodbye” and that he was going to kill himself. I have been very upset about this and worried about him. I know everyone is in God’s hands, but God gives us free will. I hope and pray he doesn’t end his life. Would you pray for him? I know the prayers of a righteous man avail much. My cousin lost his father when he was under 5 and recently his mother passed away within the last couple of years. He has two children. His daughter doesn’t have anything to do with him from what I understand. I texted his son and his son said he couldn’t stay with him when he is out of prison. I know that his kids didn’t care a lot about what happens to him. I think I told you about how when he was a young man that a bunch of guys ganged up on him and threw a brick or large rock at his skull. His skull was cracked and he had to be life-flighted to the hospital. He had brain surgery and almost died. Before this happened he had a really high IQ and was doing well in life. After that happened, things went down hill and he has been in and out of prison and has had problems. Please pray that his doctors give him the right medicine and whatever help he needs. I know you receive probably hundreds if not thousands of letters. Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you for doing God’s work and caring.
God bless you for your kindness.
Jeannie, IA (Non - Inmate)

(Folks, how easy it is for a life-changing experience to come along and destroy our bright futures. Circumstances play such a huge part in the lives of all of us. But by the grace of God, all of you could be sitting in prison. Many smugly sit in church with folded arms saying, “Well, they had a choice and they chose wrong.” But for most in prison, that really isn’t the case. You can only chose from the choices that are presented to you. If you don’t know of a better choice, how are you going to chose it? After all, isn’t that why Jesus commanded you to go into all the world to teach them how to be obedient to all He commanded? Simply put, the world doesn’t know of the “choice” that God is giving them unless you take that choice to them. Therefore, in the judgment, you will be held responsible if you are not taking that choice to them. How beautiful are the feet that bring good tidings. Isaiah 52:7. Are your feet beautiful?)

Dear Mr. John,
My son Jordan, currently incarcerated, forwarded me a letter of encouragement you sent him last month. I would like to send my most heartfelt thanks for you taking the time to correspond with Jordan during this difficult time. I to have tried to write him as much as possible with words of inspiration and encouragement and to continue to keep his faith strong. I don’t feel that I always have the right things to say, so it has been a blessing to know that he has reached out to you and you have taken time to help him understand the word of God and know that he has not been abandoned. I truly believe it’s these small blessing that will make a big difference as he continues on this difficult journey. I pray that you will continue to communicate with my son and ask that you keep him in your prayers.
Julia, CA (non-inmate)

Ron,
Hello Brother. I just received your “Introductory Issue”. I’m stoked to read the book, “Change Your Life Biblically”. I’ve been dealing with prison church politics and religion for sometime. I’ve been searching for a “what does Christ say” study. I don’t have time for all the games “Christian brothers” play here. I want to live like Jesus said to. I’ve been down almost 4 years and I have a little less than 14 to go. I saw your address on the board in our chapel and I could feel the Holy Spirit running through me. Thank you.
Scotty, NJ

Brother Ron,
After receiving your letter, I realized that I got in a rush when it came to the essays. It is something I’m really trying to work on. Hopefully these are better in detail to show that I’m not just retaining information, I’m living the truth out in my daily life. What a blessing it has become. I’m not in this relationship with God for any titles or certificates. I’m in it for truth, love, life eternally and a lasting relationship with Christ. So I thank you for challenging me because it only builds my faith stronger. Once again, I’m thankful for the blessing of this ministry in my life. God bless and know you are in my prayers.
Aubrey, KY

Aubrey’s essay on “Grace”:
I’ve learned that grace has a very powerful meaning when it’s used in its right context. But when it is used to replace the meaning of faith, it is completely out of order. God gives grace to mankind to replace his eternal life source that was taken from us due to the fall to sin. We are given this unmerited favor so that we may have the opportunity to repent and get back to a relationship with God. So grace was given when man was put out of Eden. Since it can’t be earned by our works it is given equally to all. Therefore, it can’t save us because the Bible plainly states that all will not be saved. I’ve learned the Bible teaches plainly the righteous will live by faith. I see how God’s grace saves us from immediate death so we can learn obedience through faith which in turn leads to eternal life. I understand there comes a time when God may just as well withdraw His grace due to our consistency to resist His call on our lives. Knowing that we were created to do good works through our obedience from faith seems practical since God prepared us to do these works by giving us the covenant of love (10 Commandments). Today I make sure my actions and words line up with the commands of God. If I find I’m not being obedient then I repent and turn from whatever has caused me to sin. I thank God for the grace He gives me to learn and grow in this relationship I have with Him because of the grace He first gave me.

Aubrey’s essay on “Souls & Death”:
I’ve learned that “soul” simply means a body with breath (spirit) in it. Plainly put, a living being. God created man from dust and then breathed or placed a “spirit” in him so he cold become a “living being” (soul). Death didn’t become part of this plan until sin was introduced in the Garden of Eden. Once sin became part of our flesh, we are under the curse of sin which the penalty is death. Now there are two deaths to take place for those who are judged as wicked. The first death will be a temporary sleep phase where one will die and go to the grave to await the day of judgement. Everyone must face judgement for there account on earth. The second death is an eternal death, one that will end there existence permanently. As believers and children of God, the first death will still apply to us because these earthly bodies, this flesh, can’t live eternally. By the presence of Christ in us, meaning the Holy Spirit has made a home in us, we are heirs to the glory of God. When judgment day comes and our names are found in the Lamb’s Book of Life, we will be rewarded for our faithfulness and obedience to God. We will receive a crown of righteousness and granted entry to eternal life through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We know that the righteousness of Christ is in us by the 10 Commandments being in us. Without complete obedience to the commands of God we are continuing to aimlessly roam lost in the world.

Aubrey’s essay on “The First and Greatest Commandment”:
This defines our relationship and love for God. Learning to be obedient to God in every aspect of our lives can seem a challenge. As humans we learn that love can hurt us, let us down, abandons us. Truthfully, until we develop a relationship with Christ, we have no idea what love really is. God gave us commandments so we could learn and live the true meaning of love. I’ve learned that by obeying God in the fullest I’m able to love my neighbor enough to have a concern for his eternal destiny. I’m able to look upon him with compassion because I understand now the concept of being lost. I’ve learned that having the love of God in me means that the commandments are my guide. I make sure today that my actions and words line up with the 10 Commandments to the letter. I realize I honor God by keeping the 7th day Saturday Sabbath holy. By my obedience to God I share the love He has placed in me as a witness to the lost. By keeping the love of God (10 commandments) in my heart I am no longer bound by sin and death. No longer does the sinful nature of my past have control over me because the love of God Compels me to do the good He has sent me out to do. The chains of addiction are overcome by the presence of God’s love (10 Commandments) that are to be written on the tablet of my heart. Today I know people are able to see the change taking place within me because it’s growing from the inside out. I’m moving farther away from that old sinful nature and it’s a joy to see it for myself. I just want everyone to find the love of God for themselves. I pray and speak to the ones who will listen. Today I seek God in a way that will allow Him to use me in any way He sees fit. Because spreading the gospel and His love is what it’s about. I’m blessed to have Him living in me and through me. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your strength. In order for anyone to fulfill the greatest commandment given it takes more than a few Sunday services. More than giving up a little cash from your change purse. More than quoting some scriptures or prayer to make you look like someone special. By the grace of God the meaning of “with all your heart, soul, mind and strength” has been revealed to me. God doesn’t want a portion of us. He won’t settle for half or even three quarters. His desire is for the whole make-up that is our existence. When we give Him every single aspect of our lives He begins to shape and mold us like clay in the hands of the potter. Only by faithful obedience in His Word are we to find truth in the midst of such a wicked world. A world we were once part of. Everyone is born into sin because of Adam in the Garden of Eden. So man is subject to death for the penalty of sin. God gives us, as sinners, a temporary pass so to speak, on the immediate death payment for our sins. It’s called “grace”, with the hopes of us finding the truth He has for us. To come to Him with repentance and seek the forgiveness He is so willing to give. Once the truth is revealed to us we begin to see the world for what it truly is. We begin to see the wicked people we had become. Even the wicked understand that everyone must die one day. Death is inevitable for each one of us. But death isn’t the end of the road for us. Everyone will be judge for the life they chose to live.

Dear Ron,
Since reading “Change Your Life Biblically” my relationship with God continues to grow in ways that I would normally hit a barrier. Applying the truth to my life has been an amazing blessing. I’m a month clean from eating meat and you are right, I feel better mentally and physically. In my studies I determine what is truth by comparing it to what Jesus taught. I’ve always been a bit leery about giving my money as a tithe to any church. But I feel a conviction from the Holy Spirit about how true this ministry is to God and the love of gospel and truth. I don’t get much but I feel blessed to send these stamps because I know they go to further the Kingdom of God.
Aubrey, KY

Dear Brother,
I received your letter and the pamphlets. I want to say thank you. Well, in your letter you asked me to write explaining what I’ve learned from the “8 Steps” of Peter and how I am applying it to my life. I must say that it has helped me and changed my life in more ways than one. First, I would like to talk about “faith” and how it has opened my eyes to the real meaning. I was brought up being taught that “faith” is believing in the unseen. I thought all I had to do was believe in Jesus and I would have eternal life. Well, now that I’ve read and studied your booklet and the “8 steps”, I see different now. Not only does it make sense, but I’ve applied it to my life as well. Not only do I believe, but I act on it. By faith I know the Ten Commandments must be obeyed. By faith I work hard to do just that. At times I fall short, but I get back up because by faith I can do all things through Christ Jesus. At one point and time all I wanted to do was bad things. There was no good in me at all. The life I lived dwelt around evil forces that had me in a total dark state of heart and mind. I’ve hurt many people by those ways and wish that I could take it all back. But I can’t. I can only do what is right now and pleasing in the eyes of God. So now joy to me is living a Christian life. I do good to those around me. Even when I’m down I still smile and keep a positive attitude. I know now that in order to obtain eternal life I have to be like Christ and walk in His ways which are truth and righteous.
By walking in righteousness and doing good deeds to those that even oppress me, I now know it pleases Christ. I now know that by helping those that are in need, poor and sick, even those that are in my current situation, I’m doing it to Christ. I read and study the Word and the Introductory Issue daily seeking knowledge. The more I study the more I gain and find new things that I never knew. With the help of the Holy Spirit I have opened the eyes of a few guys. I lead by example, by showing the true walk of righteousness. I now keep the 7th day Sabbath holy by studying and not working. I must say, Brother John, that my life is far from the way it used to be. The old me would not be writing to you seeking spiritual guidance. Even those that knew the old me can’t believe how much I’ve grown spiritually. But daily I put on the armor of God and fight the wickedness of the unseen. I truly need and want to live a righteous life.
Aaron, NC

To Whom It May Concern,
I am very eager and hungry for God’s Word. I am now so much more wanting to learn so much about my Savior.
Kenneth, IA

Greetings Ron,
I received the certificate and other materials you sent last night at mail call. That certificate was one of, if not the most, challenging of the ones I’ve earned. I appreciate the offer of a Bible, but I already have a very nice Bible my aunt sent me a few years ago. Please use that resource for some indigent inmate some where. I also appreciate the offer of a web page. But I see no reason to do that. I will never be in the free world ever again, so I feel it would be a waste of hard drive space and ministry resources to post anything about myself on your web site. I will pass along the sign-up sheets and book markers you sent me the next time I go to the chapel.
Dennis, FL

Brother Ron,
I hope and pray this letter gets to you in good health and great spirits. I know it’s been some time since I wrote to you. I’m doing good for the most part. Reading my Bible and praying daily. I’ve gotten a little lazy with my studying, but I’m still trying to keep God first in my life. Change can sometimes be hard for me. I’m doing the best I can to give all of myself to Him. I have yet gone to court to get my time. I’m hoping when I do go to court the judge will let me go to this two-year drug program in NC. If not, I guess I’ll end up back in prison. Wherever I go I’ve got God. My life is in His hands.
Christopher, VA

Dear Ron,
I just received your JCPM “Introductory Issue”. I would most definitely love to receive one of your books, “Change Your Life Biblically”, please. I am a new brother in Christ. I am trying to learn as much as I can about how to change my life for our God. I am an ex-Surino gang member now. I have chosen to be done with that hateful life. I was so blind. I am trying to finally open my eyes to what is truly good and blessed now. Anyhow, I got your info from my fiancee who is in prison. She has been a big help in me turning my life around. We are both grateful for what you are doing. Keep up the good work. I don’t be getting that much $ from the streets, but inclosed you will find 5 stamps to help you. I hope to receive your book soon as I am in lockdown 24-7. I would love to get my study on.
Daniel, PA

Dear Ron,
I am very interested in your “Change Your Life Biblically” book to help me strengthen my walk with Christ. Many years as a “Christian” I knew there was more than saying a prayer. I want more feeding and knowledge of the Word and what my Father is really about. I don’t want to be a part time Christian, I want to be who He wants me to be. To work for Him and teach others. To show the love of Him through me. May God bless you and can’t wait to receive the workbook.
Angelo, TX

Dear Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,
I hope that you mail your free book to me. I am indigent. I have no money, no family. Maybe in the future I could send a donation. I’m struggling with alcoholism. I’m always in jail for drunk in public. Will you please pray for me.
Wesley, CA

Hi Ron,
This is a ministry update from here in prison. I started Bible studies with a new guy last week. He is the 4th guy I am studying with. Actually there were 3 other guys, but they don’t count cause they dropped out, like the 3rd study. One of the guys told me he doesn’t think the Sabbath is as important as we make it out to be. I don’t get it. He did the whole set of studies and said that at the end. In fact, the three that did all the studies with me. It seems that it had no affect on them at all. Enough bad news. Now the good news. Two Catholics in my dorm found out about the Sabbath and started keeping it. They came to Sabbath services last Sabbath. And they are coming back next week and said they are going to try and bring more people. Also, my friend Kurtis ordered a workbook from you. He saw mine and said he got to get one. Oh, yeah, the guy I gave my workbook too, gave it back said he is not going to do it. So I am doing it. Two more guys are going to be ordering it.
Jason, CA

To Whom It May Concern,
I have a neighbor in the next cell who has shared information on the workbook, “Change Your Life Biblically”. I have been working on a few different Bible correspondence courses and am always seeking to find more ways to learn about His Word. This workbook sounds like a great way to do that. I have placed my family’s and my own life into God’s hands. Although I may be in prison for something I absolutely did not do, I know it’s all for the greater plan God has for me. Reading His Word daily helps to remind me that He only does things for good. His plans for us far exceed any plans we could ever think of for ourselves. I’ll be honest, I have never been this close to God in my life and it’s a comfort to know He is there for all of us.
Matthew, CA

Dear Ronald John,
Just writing a few lines to try and get your “Change Your Life Biblically” workbook. I really don’t know if I could write a four page letter or not, but here goes.
Our world (prison) is experiencing a crises of faith. Few inmates place much faith in the future. Many inmates have no faith that political leaders will honorably serve their country or that education will prepare them adequately for the challenges ahead. Faced with the difficulties of everyday life, many inmates simply have no confidence that they will see a better tomorrow. In a burned-out, tuned-out and turned-off world (prison), sentiments like “the rich get richer and the poor get poorer” and “nothing ever turns out right” clutter our (inmates’) thinking.
At the same time, many inmates view the values and promises of the Bible as judgmental and archaic. The popular approach is to accept and validate all opinions, no matter what they are. But the same inmates don’t realize that such an approach inevitably produces doubt, which undermines faith. We (Christians) may not deny the existence of God, but because of the materialism, humanism and moral relativism of prison, inmates convince themselves that God is not involved in human affairs. They (inmates) see through a prism that leaves God out of the picture. Even professing Christians, religion is often superficial. Many inmates lack a basic knowledge of the teachings of the Bible or their denomination’s beliefs. Far too many inmates have come to believe that every aspect of life is simply a matter of personal choice and that nothing matters beyond their feelings. Instead of relying on God, inmates trust only themselves to solve their problems. Then, because emotions are so subjective, inmates are left confused and grasping for anything that offers hope. Confirmation of the superficiality of faith is to be found in the fact that 90 percent of inmates say they pray, many are unsure that their prayers make any difference. Is the chapel helping solve this problem? Inmates indicate that the chapel is not doing their job when it comes to inspiring faith among the inmates. Only a few inmates said they have a life-transforming relationship with God and are dedicated to serving their fellow inmates.
Lack of faith, that is, of an active, living trust in and a relationship with God, is a widespread problem affecting every prison and virtually every inmate. When it comes to faith, does God encourage or accept a divergence of approaches? Is it true, as many believe, that many paths lead to God? My worship of God is a reflection of truth. Although worship involves feelings and emotions, God expects us to understand how and why we worship Him. Only by understanding these concepts can we develop the sure and unshakable faith spoken of in the Bible.
Understanding and living according to God’s instructions will inspire faith in God and His promises. Faith helps us (inmates) make sense out of our troubling and confusing world (prison). It gives us the confidence we need to move forward with our lives. And, as we will see, it is vital to eternal salvation in the Kingdom of God. Do you see much faith in prison? Much of society today is devoid of faith. Since most inmates don’t read the Bible, they don’t know much about the true God. Many inmates are not even sure there is a God. Others, although they believe in Him, don’t know what kind of God He is. This situation shouldn’t surprise you. After all, you have been there. It’s impossible for inmates to have living faith in a God they don’t know or even know much about. I’m always asking inmates, “Do you know what God is able and willing to do for you?” Also, I say, “You can know what God has planned for you and your family in this life and the future.” You can rest assured that God wants good things for you. His Word tells us that “godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and that which is to come.”
Not only can you come to know God, to believe in God, but much more, you can learn to believe God. There is a huge difference. Many inmates believe in God. They assume He exists, although they probably haven’t given His existence much thought. But God is not real enough to them and this lack of reality affects what they think and do. To believe God, on the other hand, is to have faith that God can and will do for us whatever He has promised to do. God expects us to act on this trusting belief. He requires that we have living faith in His existence, power and promises.
Faith isn’t some magical ingredient, it doesn’t, however, lead to a confident attitude toward God. Faith motivates our minds to the assurance of God’s power and will to act in our lives. This is what I preach in the yard and in the dayroom.
Benjamin, CA

Hi,
I would like to receive an Old & New Testament Bible along with a Bible study.
Anthony, AZ

Dear JCPM,
Last summer I turned my life over to and accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Since that time I have been taking Bible lessens in discipleship, creation, revelation and also attending church regularly plus support groups. One of the inmates has a copy of “Change Your Life Biblically” and I borrow it frequently because it is such a big help in understanding scripture and how to apply the message to one’s life. It has proven to be a big help to me as I continue my spiritual walk and to strengthen my relationship with Him. Would it, please, be possible to receive a copy of my own. I will greatly appreciate any consideration you can give me.
Henry, TX

To Whom It May Concern,
The reason behind this letter is cause I’m reaching out for help seeking a higher power. I believe in Jesus Christ, just never really got into the Word. I always thought I was “too cool” for it. Now, after my 3rd prison sentence and spent the last 13 1/2 years of 15 years locked up in various juvenile, jails, prisons and half-way houses, I’m ready to change my life. I’m currently serving 15 years for an armed robbery and burglary. But since being here I’ve been trying to better myself for when I do get out. I’ve obtained my GED and substance abuse program which I’m 413 days sober as of today. I’m writing to see if I can get some help seeking the Lord with this book as well as any other information you could possible send me.
Joseph, IN

Dear JCPM,
Thank you for the newsletters you have sent me. They are very much appreciated.
Silas, WA

Jesus Christ Prison Ministry,
I’d like to request your materials: Bible, Bible study materials, Pen-pal info, your monthly newsletter plus any thing else you might have. If by chance you have study Bibles, I’d please like one also.
Brad, CT

Dear JCPM,
Hello. I am looking for a book that gives scriptures and prayers for the daily reader. I have been slipping in my faith. I need some Bible study or daily readings. I also will be getting out of prison soon. So I am in need of a book of resources. A list of Christian based homes. I have been in and out of jail for 10 years. I don’t want this life anymore and the only way is Jesus Christ. If you could help me, I would deeply appreciate it.
Jacob, CA

Dear Brother Ron,
Hello to you once again my fellow brother in Christ. I would like to extend my apologies to you brother Ron for not responding back to your last letter from my desert experience, truly. I want to thank you brother Ron for truly writing and not putting me aside like many people do.
William, CA

My Dear Brother in Jesus Christ,
I accepted my Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior over 30 years ago, but I fell back into the world and the things of the world. Now I am just going to start my first time in prison in my life. I am 52 years old and looking at 12 years in prison for my sins. But in all of this, the Lord Jesus has put His hand on me and my life and with the grace of God I am walking with Jesus once more. I am from England and I moved out here to California six years ago. I was told about you from an inmate here in prison. I sent to you for the free booklet and I have just got it in the mail. Thank you so very much. I need to learn the Bible. I need to study the Bible and by the Holy Spirit will keep on blessing with the dreams and the things I need to know. Please send me “Change Your Life Biblically”.
Graham, CA

Hello,
I have heard a lot about your book and have read some of it when one found its way to me. I would love to have my own. I found this flyer with my things. I’ve had this flyer 2 years plus now. I really would like to enjoy reading all about the Bible. I have been through a lot and Jesus has always been with me. A lot of inmates only have a small New Testament pocket Bible. “Change Your Life Biblically” is a great must have resource book for inmate. Please send me a copy of your book. I am interested in working in ministry.
Herbert, CA

Dear Brother Ron,
I am writing this letter hoping in the Lord our God and Savior that His blessings be upon you at all time. I am sorry it took me so long to write but know that I always keep you in my prayers. I have been sharing this Word with some of our brothers here. I have received a lot of resistance from the enemies of the truth. But all we can do is to share the Word of truth and let the Holy Spirit do the rest.
Walter, CA

Hi There,
I am sending you this letter to thank you for the book. I love your book. And yes, I would like to help you on this. I would also like to do another one also. I love learning about the Lord my God.
Tony, MT

Hi,
I’m so grateful to know there is an inmate program. I know God is real and His works are so great. Thank you for sending a Bible. We all need God in our lives.
Alexander, NY

Dear Brother John,
I’m doing OK, working hard to do the will of God. Well, in your letter you asked for me to tell what I’ve learned and how I’m putting it to use within my life. First of all, I’ve learned that in order to obtain eternal life, one has to obey God’s Commandments and live a perfect life as Christ lived. In order to do so, one will have to put to death the misdeeds of the body and put on the new self which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of Christ. The “8 Steps” of Peter 2 are faith, goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness and love. These are the tools needed that will lead me to a perfect, sinless character of Christ. Most churches of today are teaching that the Ten Commandments have been done away with when Jesus died on the cross. But Jesus stated in Scripture that I came not to do away with the Laws of God, but to fulfill them. So we are to live by God’s commandments. By doing so, we show God that we truly love Him. Also, the churches of today teach that the 7th day Sabbath is on Sunday and that we don’t have to keep God’s true 7th day Sabbath which is on Saturday. Since studying the workbook, I have learned that keeping the 7th day Sabbath is part of the commands of God and since His laws still stand for the whole universe, so does His true 7th day Sabbath which is Saturday. I know that “faith” is not a belief, but an act of putting in work for Christ. And so, how I apply these things to my life is I go amongst the wolves with-in here and preach the true teachings of Christ. By being obedient to God’s commands allows me to act and do His will. Since studying your workbook and giving my life to Christ, I have matured in many ways. As I stated, I go amongst the wolves, meaning those that are heartless and evil doers. I talk to them and try to bring them to an understanding that Jesus is the only answer. Even though I get threatened and talked about, I still show love and risk my life. Since the last time I wrote to you, a few more guys that was in a gang has changed their lives for Christ. They will be writing you soon to get their own workbook. I must say, it is no easy task. But it is worth the sacrifice. There are many of my former gang brothers that I want to reach out to who are out in the world. But my communication with the outside is limited. So as the days go by, I stand firm on the teachings of Christ: be perfect, stop sinning and to keep His Ten Commandments”. I reach out to those who are around me and are blinded by the darkness of evil. Just by my new walk of life many are slowly coming to except the truth which is the teachings of Christ. So brother, I’m always in the field working for Jesus as I have learned to do. My goal is to get at least five people every month and as they spread the teachings, many will know the true teachings of Christ. I ask that you keep me in your prayers for strength and courage to fight the good fight of Jesus.
Aaron, NC

(Let us keep these inmates in our prayers. How many of us on the outside are putting our lives on the line for Jesus? Let us get out of our churches and begin working for Jesus.)

Dear,
Would you please be so kind as to send your “Jesus Christ Prison Ministry” booklet? My friend liked it so much he took it home with him when he got paroled. Thank you.
Jon, CA

Dear Ron,
I received your Introductory Issue of Jesus Christ Prison Ministry. I read it along with a friend who also wants to read your “Change Your Life Biblically”. We both are wanting this book. Thanks!
Steven, NC

Ministry News

My Dear Family in Christ,
I want to thank each of you who continue to support this little ministry. Because of your hearts of love and dedication to the Lord’s ministry many thousands of lives have been touched. Probably, the heart most touched has been mine. Looking back upon this experience to which God has called me, I can see tremendous growth in my own heart. How scared I was when the Lord called me to begin this ministry. I truly didn’t think it would last but a few months. Here we are almost 19 years later.

Next are two pictures of the 10 x 50 trailer when the ministry moved onto this property in May 2003. Yes, over the years I have attempted to make it more livable, but basically, it was the same trailer As I shared with you a few months ago, the Lord finally gave me the “OK” to “repair” it. Our first priority was making sure the ministry could do its work.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” 2Co_5:17. This concept of being a “new creation” was interesting. I thought that being baptized made me a new creation. Come to find out, since I wasn’t taught how to be a “new creation” all baptism did was make me all wet. I discovered that being a new creation was not about adding new facts to my brain. Learning all the Bible facts did nothing to create a new creation in me. After all, Lucifer knows all the Bible facts and he won’t be saved.

I was taught that all I had to do was go to church once a week. Oh, and make sure it was on the “right” day. But I discovered that going to church on the “right day” did nothing to create a “new creature” in me. All church-going did was make me feel I was saved without changing the old creature.

Most of what “Christians” call “Christianity” is nothing but a whitewashing of their old lives. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but within are full of dead people’s bones and all uncleanness.” Matthew 23:27.

I refused to use the donations that came in to the ministry for my personal comfort and ease. The funds were first used in providing the necessary buildings, equipment and supplies for the work of the ministry. “Prepare your work outside; get everything ready for yourself in the field, and after that build your house.” Proverbs 24:27. That is what I did. Over the years I attempted to make it more livable with as little funding as possible. However, the work of the ministry always came first.

Here you see the trailer after 12 years of “whitewashing”. But even though it was pleasant to look at, it was still, underneath, a falling down, rotten, moldy, leaky trailer of about 50 years old. Finally, after the ministry was on a better footing and we had acquired all the equipment and buildings needed to do the work of the ministry, God gave me the go ahead to “repair” the trailer.

I looked at the trailer and realized that it was nothing more than a “whitewashed Pharisee”. Looking good on the outside, but rotten to the core. How like our lives. We gussy them up and make them look good on the outside, while we are still filled with sin on the inside. Our lives are still filled with hates, annoyances, injured feelings and loaded with grudges. How we need to follow the advice of the Bible in all things. “See, I have set you this day over nations and over kingdoms, to pluck up and to break down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant.” Jer 1:10. “For thus says the LORD to the men of Judah and Jerusalem: ‘Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns’”. Jer 4:3

I decided that we would use this biblical principle and make a “new creation” out of the trailer. In our lives we must obey Jesus to pluck up sin, break down pride and destroy our egos, selfishness and coveting of the worldly things and churches. Then, God can build and plant, sow and reap a harvest of righteousness. That is the only way we can get to heaven. We must submit to the Master builder and build our lives as He commands: perfect, sinless and commandment keeping.

Once the ministry had everything it needed to accomplish the work God needed done, He then gave me permission to “repair” the ministry’s home. One of the major reasons for this was the need to be presentable to the public. For the first 18 years we were very busy “developing” the physical ministry. Now that we are finished with that part, we want to be a place where the public can come for worship, Bible studies, presentations, health classes, addiction seminars and more.

The following pictures are “sheds” we have built to accomplish the Lord’s work. The first picture is the office. It is amazing what gets done in such a small space. It is 12 x 28 and accomplishes everything from producing all our flyers and newsletters to editing the videos we put up on our web sites: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and You Tube.

That shed, upper right, is the “studio” or the “green room” as we call it and is 12 x 16. It sits behind the office. It is where we “film” the videos. Electricity pumps our well water, heats it and turns on our lights. We are all electric. Therefore, to energize all the equipment that keeps the ministry running, and to keep our electric expense down, we put in solar.

We even have a “guesthouse”, if you don’t mind sleeping in the laundry room. It is cozy and nice for someone who might like to spend a weekend or so with the ministry kicking a bad habit or learning how to present the gospel to neighbors.

The grounds are nice for company to enjoy and commune with God. Nothing fancy or expensive, just “natural”, calm, quiet and a place to meet with Jesus. Every person who has come to the property has commented on the fact that they can feel the peace and holiness of God here. I sit often by the pond and let the Spirit of God communicate with me the words He wants me to share in the newsletters, on line and in our videos. God will speak to each of you if you will take the time to be alone with Him. It takes lots of time to still the voices and sounds of the world from the mind and to come into oneness and unity with God. He is so desirous to communicate with us, but for most, they are too busy. They prefer the “Catholic” method, pretend by going to church, but refuse to go to Jesus and spend the time He requires for their salvation. Please folks, take time and get to know Jesus.

Those two pictures show the demolition and destruction caused by termites. How true in our lives. We may cover up our sins and look real good on the outside, but inside we are being eaten out by the termites of sin. To get rid of termites one must soak the wood and the ground with termite killer. That is to make sure that the termites cannot escape or come back. Then you must isolate the wood from the ground with concrete or blocks, etc. The “poison” to terminate the termites of sin in our lives requires two tablets: the “Ten Commandments”. They are guaranteed to eradicate sin in our lives. Jesus staked His life on them. Will you? But in order for the “termite poison” to work in our lives, we must saturate our lives and all around us with the Ten Commandments. We must then make sure that the “stones” of the tablets or the “Rock” is firmly set beneath us so the termites of sin do not crawl back into our lives and eat out our eternal life.

The following picture is the “new creation”. We must all become “new creatures” in Christ. We just can’t cover up the old, we must tear it down and rebuild with the New Spirit of God. This “new creation” is built solidly. It doesn’t rock and roll in the wind. Nor does it wobble when I walk in it. It doesn’t leak and there is more room. The bedroom is upstairs which leaves lots of room below to share the love of Jesus with friends.

Even the building of it has been used to share the gospel. The builders are very interested in me and this ministry. The “boss” spent three terms in prison. But he is very interested in what I am sharing with him about his health and eternal life. He even started “keeping” the Sabbath since I would not allow him to work here on Sabbath.

Thank you folks so very much for your love and support. To build a home for this ministry would have cost over $150,000. By “repairing” the trailer it is about $25,000. It is now 750 sq. ft. with room to share Bible studies. The solar panels are working great. Our total utility bill went from over $250 a month to “0”. I praise God. Now I can concentrate on the work and not have to worry about cost.

This year through October we have reached 1,232 inmates with our “Initial Newsletters”. These “Initial Newsletters” present the gospel as explained by 2 Peter. If inmates go no farther in their Bible studies with the ministry, they have the foundation for eternal life. But if they wish to go farther and deeper into God’s Word they can then ask for the book, “Change Your Life Biblically”. Through October over 240 inmates have decided to continue their walk with Jesus.

Once they complete the Bible study course they receive a certificate and can then request to be placed on the ministry’s many internet pages. This gives the inmate access to pen-pals, places to share their poems, drawings and short stories. If you wish to pen-pal with an inmate or read their poems, view their drawings, please go to our web sites and enjoy. If you don’t have access to the web, contact me and I will send you a pen-pal list.

God bless you as you continue living for Jesus. Please remember us at tax time. Any extra to pay down the construction costs would be appreciated. Once the debt is paid off everything can go to putting more books and material into the hands of inmates.
Love in Christ,

Ron

PRISON MISSION REPORT

Dear Brother,
We here at the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office would like to humbly ask for any religious materials you may be able to donate to our jails; especially Bibles. Currently the APSO maintains 4 jails with approximately 1200 inmates, both male and females. There is a strong need and desire for the word of God in these institutions as offenders attempt to order their lives. We in the Chaplain’s office would like to help and guide them on their spiritual journey. Due to government restrictions, we are not able to use any money for religious materials so we must rely on the Christian charity and good will of organizations such as yours. Within the 4 facilities we have mixed denominations including Catholic, Baptist and Pentecostal among others. Please if you can find it in your heart and budget to send us anything we would consider it a blessing.
Sincerely,
Chaplain’s Office, LA

Hi,
I have a release date set for 2018, God willing. I’m 34 years of age. The reason that I’m writing you is cause I’m seeking and in need of spiritual guidance. I’ve read about different religions, seeking the true and right way to worship. All my life I’ve been living a dangerous life style, from gang banging to drugs. Those that I thought loved and cared for me turned their backs on me many times. For some reason I feel that “God” has kept me alive. I’ve never been a religious kind of person, tho my mother was. Well, I went to the chaplain’s library here and I was looking for a book, seeking guidance. Well, out of all the books, your book kept calling me and so I checked it out and have been reading. I really feel with in my heart and soul that your guidance will answer all that I seek and bring me closer to God. Truth be told, I’m tired of living this sinful life. I really want change because I now know there is no other way. Sincerely I ask for your help. The book I have belongs to the prison library. I can’t fill out the answer sheets or write in the book. I ask that you send me a copy of your book, “Change Your Life Biblically”.
Aaron, NC

Dear Ron,
Thank you for sending my certificate. I am proud of the knowledge I was given during my study and the knowledge gained every day in seeing things differently because of the knowledge. Now I find myself reading spiritual stuff and thinking “that’s what I read in CYLB”, or “that’s not right” and I research to discern wether what I read was true or not by the Scriptures. There is a lot of “believable” stuff out there that is 3/4 truth and I have been careful to confirm it with the Bible. It’s the only way to be sure of what we are reading, hearing, seeing, etc., is truth or misleading. I agree the learning never stops. That’s why we can read something the 2nd time and see things we missed (or weren’t revealed to us) the first time. A bunch of stuff I’ve read seems good in general, but not precise for all. For example, praying. Some people pray mentioning everything very specific. Another may pray for God’s blessings on the day and help to see the day through the Lord’s eyes. And both prayers are good. I am going to continue my studies with CYLB and my study Bible. I desperately want to perfect my walk with God. Thank you for your help.
Kenneth, CA

Dear Brother Ron,
My cellie talks a lot of good things about your ministry and the book called, ‘Change Your Life Biblically’ and yourself. I received a 14 years sentence for bank robbery so have felt a lot of lows in here behind these walls, under these towers and removed from the “free world”. However, nothing gets me up and feeling great like praising God. He is so good. I have learned we have to take the good with the bad. Sunny and the rainy days. God made both. I don’t have all the answers, I just press forward towards the mark. I am very interested in your book. I see a lot of other prisoners speak about it. Would you please send me a copy and add me to your mailing list.
John, AZ

Hi There,
I am sending you this letter to see if I could get your book. I would like to do it. I hope you can help me out on this. I have heard about it in the lesson I got. And some people tell me you got one to do. I sure hope you can help me out on this. I want to thank you.
Tony, MT

Dear Ron,
I have been involved with JCPM for about 2 months, give or take a couple of days or so. I have recently received my latest of letters from JCPM notifying me that I must send 10 stamps to obtain my own workbook. Given my situation of being in prison, I have a very hard time getting stamps. Most of the guys sell things or gamble to get stamps, but I am trying to stay clean of all the mess here in prison. Because I am all alone and all people on the outside refuse me, I can’t get someone to send $10. I am for some reason wanting my own workbook so I have chosen number 5 of the options you have to obtain my own workbook. I hope my paper is enough to convince you into blessing me with my own workbook. I would really like to personally hear from you if you get a chance to write and let me know I’m not alone. It would be grateful.
Tyler, CA

Greetings once again,
I received your letter at mail call last night. I’m doing some more reading of your book. I’m not a stupid man, but I need a good size chunk of time to digest something as big as your book properly. All three volumes of your book contain quite a bit of stuff I already know. Nothing wrong with that. Confirmation and review are good from time to time. Particularly at my age. I’m no spring chicken and do have a tendency to forget things. I sow “seed” a couple of ways. All the sign-up sheets you send me I either hand to somebody personally or I take them to our chapel and place them on a rack where free books, tracts and Bible study sign-up cards are available. I’m not trying to be lazy here. Out of over 1400 men at this institution and its work camp, I have direct access to less than 40. Out of those all but half a dozen have told me to go jump in the lake when I have presented the gospel to them. My apologies for taking so long to get back to you. I had a hard time lining up some quality time with both your book and God’s Word. I normally get up before the doors open and lights come on. But that has been disrupted by noise levels being too high and not allowing me to get to sleep.
Dennis, FL

Brother Ron,
Well, I must say, you do have a talent for dangling the “carrot before the horse”! :-) But I can tell you, I don’t have to be led. I’ve spent the greater portion of my time since 1998 contemplating, studying, attempting to apply God’s words to my life and though I have stumbled often, I do, however, do all I am able to walk with God as well as I can most days. I can reread the book for you and show you I comprehend all that you teach. I seek Him earnestly day in and day out remaining aware that He rewards all who seek Him diligently. That’s why I was so ready to take hold of your book, “Change Your Life Biblically” and draw all I have and continue to draw from it. I do my best to apply that which I gained from it in all things.
Thomas, IN

JCPM,
I am writing you today in hopes of having a copy sent to me of your book, “Change Your Life Biblically”. I’ve recently encountered a fellow inmate who referred me to your book and address. He spoke highly of your book and recommended that I seek my own copy. After skimming through the first few pages and given the basic rundown as to its contents, I find myself curious as to what changes it can bring about in my life that is in turmoil. I hope and pray that it’ll bring about the changes needed in this 22 year old’s life for the better. Thank you for your generosity in giving to those in need of a better life and for the opportunity. I look forward to strengthening my faith and relationship with the Lord and reaping the fruit your book has to offer.
Jorge, CA

JCPM,
I was told to write you and to ask for a copy of the book, “Change Your Life Biblically”. I was told you have a program designed specifically for inmates. I guess that is the reason for the name, “Jesus Christ Prison Ministry”. Well, I would just like to be a part of your program so I can learn and grow more in Christ. I’ve been taking steps backward in my walk with Christ. I want to get back on track in growing in Christ cause I believe He’s coming back soon.
Joseph, NC

Dear Ronald,
I would like to get a copy of your book, “Change Your Life Biblically”. Please. I already received your introductory issue. I’m a Sabbath keeper. I read a part of your book and I would like to have my own copy, please.
Ernest, CA

Dear JCPM,
First, I want to thank you for the work your ministry is doing and has done. I got your address from one of the chaplains that visits us here. I’ve been doing several other correspondence courses with great success and growth. I would like to receive your course, please.
James, CA

Dear Christian Brothers and Sisters,
At this time I am new in Christianity and have no knowledge of the Bible. I came across the free flyer and I understood what I read. I’m requesting a copy for myself. Can you also send me any other available materials that you may find necessary to assist me in finding a better life through God.
Robert, PA

Testimony for God's People

God is calling His people to stand up, stand out and to proclaim the 3 Angels’ Messages for this time of Earth’s history. That message is the Message Jesus taught, lived and commanded us to teach. That message is the message designed to prepare people for the close of probation. That message is what John the Baptist taught. That message is what Elijah taught. Forget the “coming of Jesus”, by then it is too late. Now is the time to prepare a people to stand before a perfect God without an intercessor: perfectly. We must teach people to be perfect, to stop sinning and keep the Ten Commandments to get into Heaven. Let us listen now to God through His modern-day prophet on how to do that.

In humble dependence upon God, families are to settle in the waste places of His vineyard. Consecrated men and women are needed to stand as fruit-bearing trees of righteousness in the desert places of the earth. As the reward of their self-sacrificing efforts to sow the seeds of truth, they will reap a rich harvest. As they visit family after family, opening the Scriptures to those in spiritual darkness, many hearts will be touched.

In fields where the conditions are so objectionable and disheartening that many workers refuse to go to them, most remarkable changes for the better may be brought about by the efforts of self-sacrificing lay members. These humble workers will accomplish much because they put forth patient, persevering effort, not relying upon human power, but upon God, who gives them His favor. The amount of good that these workers accomplish will never be known in this world.

The key here is “not relying upon human power, but upon God.” We are not to depend on the “church”. We are not to depend on our pastors. We are not to depend on our church committees. We, personally, are to do the work. As long as we have breath in these bodies, we are obligated to work for Jesus. Have you settled “in the waste places of His vineyard”? Or are you nicely settled in a quiet neighborhood where you won’t be bothered with all that sharing of God’s truth?

Self-supporting missionaries are often very successful. Beginning in a small, humble way, their work enlarges as they move forward under the guidance of the Spirit of God. Let two or more start out together in evangelistic work. They may not receive any particular encouragement from those at the head of the work that they will be given financial support; nevertheless let them go forward, praying, singing, teaching, living the truth. They may take up the work of canvassing, and in this way introduce the truth into many families. As they move forward in their work they gain a blessed experience. They are humbled by a sense of their helplessness, but the Lord goes before them, and among the wealthy and the poor they find favor and help. Even the poverty of these devoted missionaries is a means of finding access to the people. As they pass on their way they are helped in many ways by those to whom they bring spiritual food. They bear the message God gives them, and their efforts are crowned with success. Many will be brought to a knowledge of the truth who, but for these humble teachers, would never have been won to Christ.

Have you brought anyone to Jesus in your life? I am not talking about taking someone to “church”. I am not talking about handing out a piece of literature. I am talking about your responsibility to bring at least one person to surrender his life to Jesus and Jesus only by giving up the world and living the perfect life as Jesus commands. You are not saved unless you do. A good way for you to begin, right where you are, is to order a case of books from this ministry. Then go out as canvassers in your neighborhood selling or giving this book that was dictated and directed by God. Will He not bless His own book that was dictated and directed by Him? Will you not be bless in obedience to this book? Then make sure people know that your home is open for Bible studies. God will bless you if you do. Trouble will come upon you if you don’t.

God calls for workers to enter the whitening harvest field. Shall we wait because the treasury is exhausted, because there is scarcely sufficient to sustain the workers now in the field? Go forth in faith, and God will be with you. The promise is: “He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” Psalm 126:6.

Nothing is so successful as success. Let this be secured by persevering effort, and the work will move forward. New fields will be opened. Many souls will be brought to a knowledge of the truth. What is needed is increased faith in God.

We are not to wait on a “church”. Do not get discouraged. Take the book, “Change Your Life Biblically” and learn it, memorize it and put it into practice and you will know the Bible as never before. You will know your Bible better than you minister or the theologian from any university. Then you will be able to meet people and God will be able to speak His words through you, when the time comes, since you have filled your soul with His Words.

Our people have received great light, yet much of the ministerial force has been spent on the churches, teaching those who should be teachers; enlightening those who should be “the light of the world;” watering those from whom should flow rivers of living water; enriching those who might be mines of precious truth; repeating the gospel invitation to those who, scattered to the uttermost parts of the earth, should be giving the message of heaven to those who have not heard; feeding those who should be in the highways and byways giving the call: “Come; for all things are now ready.”

Are you wasting God’s time sitting in church when you should be out watering? Are you listening to your minister when you should be giving the message? Maybe the problem is, you have not yet found God yourself. Maybe you are still bound by sin and haven’t learned how to live free. If so, your church has fallen down on the job and it is time to get out and pick up the book, “Change Your Life Biblically” and learn how to live for Jesus and Jesus only.

Those for whom the fetters of sin have been broken, who have sought the Lord with brokenness of heart and have obtained answer to their yearning request for righteousness, are never cold and spiritless. Their hearts are filled with unselfish love for sinners. They put away from them all worldly ambition, all self-seeking. Contact with the deep things of God makes them more and more like their Saviour. They exult in His triumphs; they are filled with His joy. Day by day they are growing unto the full stature of men and women in Christ.

With intense interest God is looking on this world. He has noted the capacity of human beings for service. Looking down the ages, He has counted His workers, both men and women, and has prepared the way before them, saying: “I will send My messengers to them, and they shall see great light shining amid the darkness. Won to the service of Christ, they will use their talents to the glory of My name. They will go forth to work for Me with zeal and devotion. Through their efforts the truth will appeal to thousands in a most forcible manner, and men spiritually blind will receive sight and will see of My salvation. Truth will be made so prominent that he who runs may read. Ways will be devised to reach hearts. Some of the methods used in this work will be different from the methods used in the past, but let no one, because of this, block the way by criticism.”

Those whom God chooses as workers are not always talented, in the estimation of the world. Sometimes He selects unlearned men. To these He gives a special work. They reach a class to whom others could not obtain access. Opening the heart to the truth, they are made wise in and through Christ. Their lives inhale and exhale the fragrance of godliness. Their words are thoughtfully considered before they are spoken. They strive to promote the well-being of their fellow men. They take relief and happiness to the needy and distressed. They realize the necessity of ever remaining under Christ’s training, that they may work in harmony with God’s will. They study how best to follow the Saviour’s example of cross bearing and self-denial. They are God’s witnesses, revealing His compassion and love, and ascribing all the glory to Him whom they love and serve.

Constantly they are learning of the Great Teacher, and constantly they reach higher degrees of excellence, yet all the time feeling a sense of their weakness and inefficiency. They are drawn upward by their strong, loving admiration for Christ. They practice His virtues; for their life is assimilated to His. Ever they move onward and upward, a blessing to the world and an honor to their Redeemer. Of them Christ says: “Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.” Matthew 5:5.

Such workers are to be encouraged. Their work is done, not to be seen of men, but to glorify God. And it will bear His inspection. The Lord brings these workers into connection with those of more marked ability, to fill the gaps they leave. He is well pleased when they are appreciated, for they are links in His chain of service.

This ministry is one of those “workers”. God is well pleased with those who “encourage” this ministry, support it and do all they can to promote it and share it. It teaches the words of Jesus. But those who fight against this little ministry, say bad things about it and refuse to bow before the Lord and His Words will be destroyed. They are committing the unpardonable sin. They are claiming the words of the Holy Spirit to be of the devil while they accept human wisdom of the church for their salvation.

Men who are self-important, who are filled with the thought of their own superior abilities, overlook these humble, contrite workers; but not for one moment does God lose sight of them. He marks all that they do to help those in need of help. In the heavenly courts, when the redeemed are gathered home, they will stand nearest the Son of God. They will shine brightly in the courts of the Lord, honored by Him because they have felt it an honor to minister to those for whom He gave His life.

God will move upon men in humble positions to declare the message of present truth. Many such will be seen hastening hither and thither, constrained by the Spirit of God to give the light to those in darkness. The truth is as a fire in their bones, filling them with a burning desire to enlighten those who sit in darkness. Many, even among the uneducated, will proclaim the word of the Lord. Children will be impelled by the Holy Spirit to go forth to declare the message of heaven. The Spirit will be poured out upon those who yield to His promptings. Casting off man’s binding rules and cautious movements, they will join the army of the Lord.

Those who are “Casting off man’s binding rules and cautious movements” of the church and are stepping out to declare the message of heaven that is found in “Change Your Life Biblically” find their own lives changed and renewed in the power of God’s Spirit. Sitting around praying for the spirit in a “program” of the church accomplishes nothing. Get up, get out, get to work and the Spirit will come to you as He is doing in this ministry.

In the future, men in the common walks of life will be impressed by the Spirit of the Lord to leave their ordinary employment and go forth to proclaim the last message of mercy. As rapidly as possible they are to be prepared for labor, that success may crown their efforts. They co-operate with heavenly agencies, for they are willing to spend and be spent in the service of the Master. No one is authorized to hinder these workers. They are to be bidden Godspeed as they go forth to fulfill the great commission. No taunting word is to be spoken of them as in the rough places of the earth they sow the gospel seed.

As this ministry goes forth to fulfill the great commission of teaching the teachings of Jesus to stop sinning, to be perfect and to keep the Ten Commandments for our eternal life, it receives “taunting words” from the “church”. People sitting in church know they are lost and are embarrassed to see people stand up and teach truth. Therefore, like the Jews of old, they are trying to knock us down and destroy us so their own accusing consciences can rest in peace and safety.

Life’s best things—simplicity, honesty, truthfulness, purity, unsullied integrity—cannot be bought or sold; they are as free to the ignorant as to the educated, to the black man as to the white man, to the humble peasant as to the king upon his throne. Humble workers, who do not trust in their own strength, but who labor in simplicity, trusting always in God, will share in the joy of the Saviour. Their persevering prayers will bring souls to the cross. In co-operation with their self-sacrificing efforts Jesus will move upon hearts, working miracles in the conversion of souls. Men and women will be gathered into church fellowship. Meetinghouses will be built and schools established. The hearts of the workers will be filled with joy as they see the salvation of God.

When the redeemed stand in the presence of God, they will see how shortsighted were their conclusions as to what heaven records as success. As they review their efforts to achieve success they will see how foolish were their plans, how petty their supposed trials, how unreasonable their doubts. They will see how often they brought failure to their work by not taking God at His word. And one truth will stand out in clear lines: that position does not prepare a man for entrance into the heavenly courts. They will see, too, that the honor given to man is due to God alone, that to Him belongs all the glory. From the lips of the angelic choir and the redeemed host will peal forth the chorus: “Great and marvelous are Thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are Thy ways, Thou King of saints. Who shall not fear Thee, O Lord, and glorify Thy name? for Thou only art holy.” Revelation 15:3, 4.

How sad. The churches today are taking the “honor” that belongs to God alone and are putting it upon themselves. They give each other medals, degrees, praise and awards but God is not pleased with them. The members of the churches are looking to the church instead of to God. They read the church papers and praise men while they refuse to acknowledge God by being obedient to Him. How lost. The whole church system is “Catholic”. God calls us at this time in earth’s history to “Come out of her, My people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues”. Revelation 18:4.

“He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” Romans 8:32.

As this wonderful, priceless Gift was bestowed, the whole heavenly universe was mightily stirred in an effort to understand God’s unfathomable love, stirred to awaken in human hearts a gratitude proportionate to the value of the Gift. Shall we, for whom Christ has given His life, halt between two opinions? Shall we return to God only a mite of the capabilities and powers lent us by Him? How can we do this while we know that He who was Commander of all heaven laid aside His royal robe and kingly crown, and, realizing the helplessness of the fallen race, came to this earth in human nature to make it possible for us to unite our humanity to His divinity? He became poor that we might come into possession of the heavenly treasure, “a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.” 2 Corinthians 4:17. To rescue us He descended from one humiliation to another until He, the divine-human, suffering Christ, was uplifted on the cross to draw all men to Himself. The Son of God could not have shown greater condescension than He did; He could not have stooped lower.

This is the mystery of godliness, the mystery that has inspired heavenly agencies so to minister through fallen humanity that in the world an intense interest will be aroused in the plan of salvation. This is the mystery that has stirred all heaven to unite with man in carrying out God’s great plan for the salvation of a ruined world. {7T 22-29}

It is time to stop halting “between two opinions” and totally give your life to Jesus and not a church. Look to Jesus and not your denomination, church, pastor or anything else of this world. Jesus is the only one who can save you. And He can only do that if you are following Him as He followed His Father: perfectly. Following your church will not get you into Heaven. Jesus and Jesus only.

Ministry News

A dear lady, who has been involved with a world-wide Sabbath keeping church, wrote me the following letter.

Dear Ron,
You say we must be perfect to gain eternal life. Well, I may as well forget about it ALL! Guess Jesus died on the cross for nothing, except my past sins, not any after baptism. I pray and beg and plead with God to help me, but He ain’t even listening! My daughter also has addictions she can’t get released from. She’s an alcoholic and she smokes at least 3 packages of cigarettes a day. She don’t like what she is and prays for God to take all that away from her. So ---- why this “grace” and Jesus dying on the cross for us if it don’t mean anything as far as eternal life!?!

I find this with so many church people. They must get out from their churches so they can come to Jesus and get His help to stop sinning. The churches teach Catholicism and the devil’s teachings. Jesus can’t save one sinner who refuses to stop sinning. If He could save you, He must save Lucifer. Both of you are sinning voluntarily. Jesus refused to sin and that is the condition we must be in to get to heaven.

But in order for you to stop sinning and be perfect, you must believe it. As a person thinks, so is he. If you are going to church and being taught you can’t be perfect or stop sinning, then you can’t. That is why you must come out from them now. Come to Jesus and learn to think “right”. Come to Jesus so you can “know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32.

“There is hope for every one of us, but only in one way by fastening ourselves to Christ, and exerting every energy to attain to the perfection of His character. This goody goody religion that makes light of sin and that is forever dwelling upon the love of God to the sinner, encourages the sinner to believe that God will save him while he continues in sin and he knows it to be sin. This is the way that many are doing who profess to believe present truth. The truth is kept apart from their life, and that is the reason it has no more power to convict and convert the soul. There must be a straining of every nerve and spirit and muscle to leave the world, its customs, its practices, and its fashions....” {6MR 12.2}

Folks, the voice of Jesus is now talking to you. Please listen. Do not spend another moment listening to your church or church paper or the TV and radio programs from your church. They are not of God. They are all of “church”. You are asleep and will die eternally if you do not wake up and come back to Jesus and learn from Him and Him alone.

Jesus Christ sent His Holy Spirit to dictate and direct the information in this ministry. Please do not resist it any longer. Don’t be like the Pharisees and Jews of Christ’s day who chose “church” over Jesus. Do not be like the Catholics who have made “church” more important than the teachings of Jesus. Do not reject the teachings of Jesus for your pride and church. Now is the day to humble yourself and to kneel before the teachings of Jesus and surrender your life. Now you must become perfect in Christ or you will be eternally lost.

“And if any come short at last, having heard the truth as they have in this land of light, it will be their own fault; they will be without excuse. The word of God tells us how we may become perfect Christians and escape the seven last plagues. But they took no interest to find this out. Other things diverted the mind, idols were cherished by them, and God’s Holy Word was neglected and slighted. God has been trifled with by professed Christians, and when His Holy Word shall judge them in the last day, they will be found wanting. That word which they have neglected for foolish storybooks, tries their lives. That is the standard; their motives, words, works, and the manner in which they use their time are all compared with the written word of God; and if they come short then, their cases are decided forever.” {1T 125.3}

Please folks, please, Jesus is waiting. He is holding out His arms. Will you reject Him for your church? Will you be like the Jews who turned their backs on Jesus to follow their church leaders? Come to Jesus now.

Love in Christ,

Ron
